My Unexpected Marriage

I am Shanell Williams, I have a fair skin tone, my eyes are hazel and have long lashes, my hair is black and it is long up to my waist. I don't have a perfect figure. But i look cute and pretty. I studied in a famous boarding school in our country. My father Mr Williams is a very powerful and wealthy business man and my mother Jiya Mason is a prestigious lady from an upper class family. I have a younger brother Shane Williams or I could say the "HEIR" of my beloved father's business, who is actually the only one who cared about my feelings and that's why I loved him very much. And today is the day I graduate from my school. In the morning I was nervous, not because of the graduation, but my entire family would be here for my graduation and I clearly didn't expected that.

My dorm room, which is the biggest room in this entire dorm, I decorated it myself. I have a book shelf at one of the corner of the room filled with various books of different genres, a king sized bed with a feather filled mattress in the center of the room, a chair and a table on which there is a small flower vase with fresh flowers and some random books, a table lamp on the corner, my laptop and also a pen case. A small refrigerator is at another corner of the room, a fireplace and also a wardrobe near the door of the washroom. One of the walls of the room was filled with some portraits which I liked and there is a wall mirror also.There is a large window near the door which opens to the balcony. It is a room which is bright and nice, I probably got this room just because of my father's influence in the political and business field, since no one wanted to offend my father. I went inside my washroom and took a shower and came out and pulled out my graduation dress from my closet. I stood before the mirror and put on the dress, a little make up not much but just the right amount. I looked at the mirror once more, my expression on my reflection told me that I am satisfied with the make up and my looks. So I decided to go to my friends who were waiting for me.

At the corridor of the school, I was chatting with my friends. I didn't have many friends just a few and I really like them a lot. After a few minutes of chat with my friends my nervousness went down. And when the time for graduation ceremony came, I went to ceremony hall with my friends and I saw my father and mother along with my brother, were seated at the front row. I went to them, I greeted my parents and hugged my brother. It's been so long I hugged him so I really wanted to be held like that by him for a moment. Then I went to my friends and classmates as the ceremony was starting. After some speeches given by our headmaster and the guest they started to give the graduation certificate to the students one by one. When my name was called I went to the stage and accepted my graduation certificate then I looked at my parents and saw the looks on their faces, they were very proud of me. I was a nerd, when it comes to studies graduating high school was like a piece of cake. After receiving my certificate I went straight to my parents and they told me that they are not going to stay for the after party and I have to get home by myself, they will arrange my favorite butler Mr Zen who is at his forty's to come pick me up from my dorm by the end of the day. I felt some heaviness in my heart but still I nodded my head and replied.

"Yes father I will be home by the end of the day."

After making some calls my parents went to our headmaster to say goodbye and then they left. My brother didn't wanted to leave but my mother insisted, so he went along with them. I felt alone, I really wanted them to stay with me but I knew that was not going to happen. I stood their and watched them walking away until my vision was blurred due to the tears formed in them.

"Shanell, what are you doing here come let's go to the party."

My best friend Veronica called me. I was startled because I was in deep thought and really didn't know what's happening in the surrounding. I went with Veronica to the party and the rest of the evening went by.

When i returned to my dorm room Mr. Zen was already there with a maid and my bags are packed. I went in to my dorm room for one last time and a tear started rolling down my cheek. I checked if anything is left behind or not. Then I went with Mr. Zen who is leading my way to the luxurious car parked outside our dorm. Mr Zen opened the backseat passenger door for me and I got into the backseat, Mr Zen waved to the maid to get in the car then went to front passenger seat. The driver started the engine and then the car slowly left the school premises.
