My Unexpected Marriage

Because you don't want me to misunderstand you, that is the reason behind you being good...?But why do I feel like I already misunderstood you by thinking you actually like me. Shanell thought about what Zeus told her and then her face become dull.

Zeus saw her face and he understood the reason behind it. But he didn't try to clear her misunderstanding and he did try to make it more confusing for her. Zeus have no other chance left to know about her true feelings towards him, eventhough he knew almost everything about her since she was an expert in hiding her true self he doesnot know if she have any feelings towards him.So only by doing this he can know about it.

"Is it?" Shanell asked him.

"Yes Shan, I don't really know how to treat a girl… Actually I rarely had any female friends and I don't really hangout with them much. The only woman I am most close with is my mother."

"So it is true that you never had a girlfriend??? So does that mean that rumors I heard are true? Are you really gay?" Shanell asked in a shocked voice.

It really shook Zeus and the muscles in his face tightened. No one ever asked this question to his face and now the girl he like is asking him that question to his face. If it was anyone else then they will be a deadmeat by the second the question left their mouth. But the one who asked is Shanell so he tried to control himself and answered.

"No Shanell, I am not gay. And not having a girlfriend doesnot mean that I am a gay. It can also have a meaning that I am waiting for the one, who will make me live my entire life for her and make me feel that without her I will be nothing."

"Oh, I am sorry." Shanell apologized when she heard Zeus's answer. She felt the temperature around Zeus is dropping really fast and its becoming hard for her to ask these type of questions. So she quickly changed the subject.

"If you didn't have lunch then we can have it together, can we? Where is Drake? Let him join with us?"

"Shan, I have an urgent meeting to attend, so can we have lunch another time, is it alright?"

"Yes its alright, Zeus. Then I shall leave you to continue with your busy schedule. Bye, see you at the dinner in the weekend." She said.

"See you, Shan."

Shanell walked towards the door and suddenly stopped and turned towards Zeus who was gazing at her.

"Don't forget to tell our parents about what I told you, okay Zeus. You should keep your promise to me because I will be your first girlfriend and you should spoil your girlfriend so much so that I can also experience how it feels like." Shanell said and smiled shyly, then put her mask before leaving the conference room.

Hearing what Shanell said Zeus become happy and a smile started to appear on his face.

After Shanell left the conference room Drake eagerly went inside and saw his big brother's smile.

"A.. my dear big brother, you are smiling. I never thought that I could actually see this moment in my lifetime. Sister-in-law is a goddess. She could even bring a smile to your face. I am afraid what else she could do to you brother??? Will I be able to identify my beloved big bro after marriage?"

Zeus ignored Drake as usual and went to his next meeting. Drake immediately followed Shanell and he found her at the entrance. She was on her phone, talking to someone. Drake rushed over and heard her conversation and understand that she called her bodyguards to accompanying her to a restaurant. So Drake came to Shanell's side in a second and said.

"Sister-in-law, Can I have the honour to have a lunch with you? We can go wherever you want."

"Don't you have to attend the meeting with your big brother?"

"Actually I don't have to attend every meeting my brother attend. I am only in charge of Zeus Entertainment, Elite International restaurant's partnership and our very own fashion brand 'Inspire'. Other than a meeting of these, I can skip if my bro didn't want me to attend. And now I know my bro don't want me to be near him atleast for a day. So I thought why don't I spent some time with my sister-in-law. And here I am ready to do so."

"Okay atleast I can have lunch with someone and I will not be lonely." She said and looked at Drake.

"Then let's go."

"Drake, my first brother and second brother will be coming over to pick me. So we have to wait.And one more thing please don't call me sister-in-law I feel like I am really old. You can call my name."

"Sure Shanell, and who is your first and second brother? I think I heard from my dad that you have only one brother..."

"Oh, they are my bodyguards. They have been by my side taking care of me for a long time and I got used to call them first and second brother."

Shanell said and try to think something seriously. Different emotions flashed on her face in those split second and she asked Drake with hope.

"Drake can I ask you something about your brother?"

"My brother!!! Sure ask anything you want to know."

"Is it really true that your brother never had a girlfriend in his life?"

" If you really wish to know about my brother then it is good we chat about it over our lunch. Because there is so many things about my brother, that I want to share to you." Drake answered and it left Shanell in more confusion.

Does that mean Zeus lied to me about his relationship with women? Why can't this brother pair tell me directly about it? Why do they have to behave like this?

"Little sister, please come and get in the car."

The sound of second brother wake Shanell from her wild thoughts.

"Drake, this is my second brother, Tyler. Second brother this is Drake, my future brother-in-law." Shanell introduced them to each other.

"Hey Ty, buddy it's you." Drake excitedly asked and gave Tyler a friendly hug.

Shanell doesnot understand what is going on. She was surprised and looked at both of them with a puzzled look on her face.

"Oh Shanell, you don't have to be surprised. We know each other for years. Actually me, Tyler, Brian and my brother were childhood buddies. After we left the country we lost contact." Drake explained the situation to Shanell and turned towards Tyler and asked.

"By the way where is Brian?"

But the answer to Drake's question was given by Shanell.

"First brother is waiting for us in the car."

"First brother???" Draked was surprised this time.

"Yes. The brian you mentioned is my first brother." Shanell cleared his doubt and they all went to the car parked infront of Zeus Entertainment.

When Brian saw Drake with Tyler and Shanell, he felt nervous because he thought Shanell have found their little secret. He thought a thousands of ways to apologize to her so that she will forgive them for keeping such a big secret.

Shanell approached the car and said to Brian.

"First brother, I have brought your childhood buddy."

Brian looked at Tyler and he indicated to play along, so Brian played along and greeted Drake by hugging him.

The Shanell entered inside the car, then invited Drake in. Brian was confused about the situation. He looked at Tyler and he explained the situation to Brian. After hearing the situation Brian left a sigh of relief, then they both enyered the car and lft Zeus Entertainment.

On the way to the restaurant, Drake talked nonstop with Brian and Tyler about his life and asked about their life. They all catch up with their life when they reached the restaurant. But there was one person who doesnot understand what they were talking, because they were all talking about their long lost friendship and unexpected reunion and all those were unknown for that one person. So Shanell kept quite all the way to restaurant.

"First brother, second brother can I have my brother-in-law for the time being if you all caught up with everything related to you guys?"

"Little sister, we will wait for you please have a great time."Brian said.

"Please have lunch and I will talk to you guys about something important when we reach home okay."

"Yes little sister" Both Brian and Tyler answered with a nervous tone.
