My World Now

When I make it back to the Guildhall and the woman behind the desk looks annoyed she is talking to another women behind the desk and I over hear her say, "Can you believe it. She isn't answering her door or anything. I wasn't supposed to work today. This blows, my boyfriend and I were gonna go to the quake and go swimming. It's so unfair"

At this time I interrupt, "Sorry can you tell me when Maynh's team will be back?" She looks at me and says, "They should be back before night. They took a beast run and those never take to long for them. Why do you want them for something?" I smile at her and say, "No I'm just heading to the university tomorrow and want to say thanks for everything." She smiles and says, "Well I've no clue when they will be back, but you can hang around if you want. Oh! One more thing. Your room in the Guildhall is room 309."

She passes me a key. As I take it I smile and say, "Thank you, but no, I'm a little to busy to hang around and it isn't important maybe another time." I leave and go into the alley nearby. I reach into my Void bag and pull out the jar with darkness inside. After releasing him he takes form and I tell him to change into a mouse. So he can keep an eye on the door. I Then take flight and land on the roof. It has orange wood shingles.

I lay down and close my eyes. Everything turns grey. I am looking at the door of the guildhall through the eyes of the small black mouse hiding in the corner of the building. Hours pass as we watch the coming and going in the guildhall. Night is approaching when they finally show up. Tarna follows Maynh her arms behind her head as she walks. Alez is next her head down eyes looking at the ground as she follows. Farmok is smiling trying to get Maynh's attention laughing at something. Last is Zamh he is watchful his eyes moving from place to place as he keeps watch over the back of the team. Before he closes the door after everyone he looks around. I watch as they enter the guildhall and wait. When night falls I tell my mouse to change into a bird and investigate the windows in the place. I keep my eyes shut as he goes from room to room. One room I see a young girl sitting at her desk writing in her journal. Another a man practicing wind magic. After almost a hour we find the room we want. He is on the third floor and his window is slightly a jar.

At that I change my shape to a Wamit and take flight. I round the building and see my bird sitting on the window sill of the stone building. Zamh is laying on his bed. He is on top of the covers his legs bent and one across the other. His eyes are closed. No sooner do I land whipping the window open then he rolls off the bed knife in hand. I smile and change my hand to a Florensin. He jumps up knife in hand. He looks at me looking for an opening.

I hear sounds of running feet in the hall and shoot my thread at him. He slices at it cutting what I send his way. I look to his desk at his bag and fake him out. He thinks I'm After the bag and slides to the side get in between me and what I want him to think is my target. I use that and aim for his feet instead pulling him off them. He hits hard and knocks the wind out of him. I take my thread and tie him up tight. using the thread I put him in the Void bag and lock the door. I quickly look around grabbing anything of use from clothes to books and boxes in hope of grabbing what I want. There is pounding on the door and I jump back out the window taking flight Darkness behind me. No sooner do I flap my wings to get higher then I here the door burst open.

I head over the town in the dark. I find a quiet dark place to land. A Talcin a creature that looks like a cross between a cat with the tail and ears of a squirrel runs down the street. I take out the jar from my Void bag and hold it open in front of me. Darkness lands on my shoulder and turns into a thin black line of fire. Once he's the jar I put the cover on and store him inside the Void bag. After that I change to a Florensin and watch as my body once again starts glowing green in the night. I waste no time heading to the nearest trapdoor and back to my room. Once back in my room I look around Iota is nowhere to be seen probably at the races. I head to my bed. Sit down and reach into the bag.

Inside the Bag

I find myself in my room and head into the library. I stop at the table and start riffling through the items and books I got. Wizzal comes out and says, "What's up with all this?" I pull the bait out of a yellow clothe bag I grabbed and say, "Supplies," As I head out the door. I can here Wizzal pick something up from the table and toss it back down with a sigh. As soon as I exit the building I take flight and head towards the airship. To forest is quiet as I soar above. The sky dark with stars twinkling now the night. "Wizzal did a really good job, " I think as I land in front of the library. When I enter a see a orange wood building with a desk at the front of the library. There are tables along one wall with chairs to work at. Book shelves go on as far as I can see. I head over to the tables and start removing stacks of scrolls. When I'm leaving I see a young Florensin who is collecting herbs and tell her to tell Neens there are scrolls for her to organize. Shortly after that I fly up to the airship and head into the belly. The stairs creak as I head down. Once there I open the closest cage making sure not the touch the black shiny stones. I change my shape to my normal shape. I pull Zamh out of the Void bag. Then throw a set of clothes into the cage. He looks around confused. I take a knife and remove his bindings with his clothing. Throwing him n.a.k.e.d into the cage I slam the door shut. He looks at me confused and says, "Where am I? Who are you? How did I get here?" I lean up against the iron wood wall and say, "That's not how this is gonna work. I ask the questions and you answer." I hold up the jar and ask, "What's in this?" He looks even more confused as he says, "Just some herbs and Dark stone. Why?" I say nothing as I stand and walk back up the stairs. "It's that stuff again." I reach into my Void bag and pull out another wrist band. Looking at it I think, "What is wrong with this stuff?" I run my finger across the inside of the band and no sooner does my finger touch the dust my head starts to hurt and my vision turns red. Seconds later I'm back to normal and I watch as once again the wrist band disintegrates in my hand. "I've got to learn more and the school maybe the place."

I sigh and head into the kitchen and reach into the apple barrel. I pick up two apples. I set one on the table the other I break open and see the apple core with three seeds. One flies out as I break the apple apart. As I watch juice runs onto my hand. I'm about to take a bite when I look at the one I put on the table. It's turned grey and has a bumpy flesh like a orange. I pick it back up and as I touch it. The skin begins to change. The red glow comes back and in mere seconds I'm holding yet again a red juicy looking apple. "What is this?"

The night isn't over and I need more information. I walk back to the cage question Lamh. Turns out it's a family recipe and he has very little information besides that. After that I tie him back up and put him back in the Void bag incase I need him agian. I leave the airship and head back to the workshop. I find Wizzal in his workshop and show the fruit to him. As I pass the apple to him it changes from an apple to a yellow fruit that looks like a pear but smells like a plum. His eyes light up as he sets the fruit down and watches it turn grey and bumpy. He looks so excited as he says, "Lizeli do you have any idea what this is?... Never mind that question. I'll tell you what it is." He runs into the library and I follow. As he looks for a book he says, "I never thought I'd see this fruit. It hasn't been seen in over 500 years" He finds the book he was looking for and comes over opening it. After a few minutes he shows me a picture of the fruit. "It's called a wonder fruit," he says pointing to the picture. It once was the most wanted fruit in the world because it takes on the taste and shape of the fruit the holder wants most or has memories of. It went extinct cause of people were fighting over the land they grew on and in the chaos they were destroyed." I take the two fruits and put them in my Void bag. So I can work on growing them later. I thank Wizzal and head to my room putting up the barrier. I smile as I reach into the bag thinking, "Tomorrow will be the beginning and in a few days I'll have one more shape maybe two."

Outside the Bag

The next morning I find myself in front of a huge yellow stone building. The words across it read:

"Azar Magic Academy"

I enter the building and to the right is the administration office. I knock on the door and am told to enter. There is a human behind the desk wearing a purple dress, her hair is green and her skin is orange. She smiles at me and says, "Welcome to Azar Magic Academy. How can I help you?"
