Mysteries of the Earthsea

Chapter 57: Margaret

Marguerite woke up from the cold, unkempt, she opened her eyes and looked at the surrounding environment, and found that nothing changed, she was still on the strange deck.

Above the glass of the ship building, a guy covered in bandages was at the helm. Seeing the man's face, she shuddered in fear. The guy bought them.

She originally thought that she could finally go home after being completely out of hell, but found out that the man bought them for sacrifice. If their captain hadn't come back by himself, maybe she would have been sunk in the bottom of the sea.

My father is right. There is no good person at sea. They don't have any laws in their minds, and they treat human life like fish.

"Father, where are you? Help me, as long as you can save me out, I promise to stay on the island where I will stay and never go out for the rest of my life." Marguerite wept sadly.

At this moment, she heard the noise, and the sailors began to wash the deck, and the voice of the sailors reached her ears.

"Have these guys been there all the time? Coral Island is not allowed to sell slaves, why are we pulling it back? Just throw it into the sea."

Upon hearing this, the slaves shrank into a ball with horror on their faces.

"The chief mate bought it by himself, but this is his thing, dare you throw it away?"

"Well, how can I dare to do this? Now, besides the captain, who would dare to provoke him, if he is unhappy, he would sacrifice me directly."

"Stop talking nonsense. Didn't you see him at the helm? He heard that there was no good fruit."

Watching the sailors' boots slowly approaching, Margaret quickly retracted her head into the dirty sack.

"Touch!" The mop with water hit the slaves directly, "Are you blind? Didn't you see the uncle mopping the floor? Go to the other side."

The slaves who were shrinking at the bow of the ship stood up and ran toward the side of the deck like mice.

Margaret stood up and was about to follow the other slaves when a tall sailor curiously stopped her. The thick fingers pinched her chin and lifted it up.

"Look, this female slave looks pretty good."

Watching the three sailors round up, Marguerite trembled all over, her eyes were full of fear and tried to hide behind her, but behind her there was nowhere to hide behind the ship.

A bucket of water was poured over and washed away the mud from Margaret's face.

milky white skin, delicate and small face, plus those big eyes with long eyelashes

Seeing Margaret's hidden appearance, the sailors' breathing instantly rose. This time the mission was too long, and they were held back for too long.

was constantly strafed by three pairs of aggressive gazes, and the terrified Marguerite cried and struggled desperately. She had seen what happened to other girls in Sodom.

"Go away! I'm the daughter of Governor He Fang! You can't do this to me!! Father, help!!!"

"What are you doing?" A tired voice came from behind. The three surrounding sailors shivered and quickly picked up the mop on the ground and stood in a row. "Report to the captain! The deck is being cleared!"

"How come there are slaves on my ship?"

"Report to the captain, this is bought by the first mate 4000 Echo, and I intend to sacrifice and save you!"

Margaret saw the person coming. It was a black-haired young man in a dark blue captain's suit. A diagonal scar on his face added a fierceness to his face.

Looking at the trembling sailors next to her, Marguerite, with tears in her eyes, hurried to the young man. "Help me, I want to go home, I will never come to sea again!!"

Before Margaret could finish speaking, she immediately felt an invisible mass wrapped around her and pushed her to the ground.

Margaret was struggling to sit up, and she happened to meet the young man across from him. Seeing the face close at hand, Marguerite suddenly touched something in her heart.

"You said you are the daughter of the Governor of Hefang Island? Is there any evidence?"

The words of the youth awakened Margaret, and she hurriedly took out a fish bone from her arms. "My father gave me this. You just need to give this to him and he must know that I am here."

Watching the young man take it over, Margaret waited nervously, her life and death all between the opposite thoughts.

At this time, she suddenly noticed a horrifying scene. The young man in front of him looked at herself with one eye, while the other eye looked at the fish bone.

Margaret, who was frightened by this scene, hugged herself with her hands and bit her lips.

"How did you escape?" Marguerite was startled by the sudden inquiry.

"I was caught by them and locked up for a long time, but one night, a sister who rescued me, I don't know who she is, she wore the same clothes as me and became like me."

As soon as Margaret finished speaking, she saw the youth frown slightly, as if she was remembering something.

She quickly pleaded again: "Sir, can you let me go back? As long as you send me back, my father will pay you a lot."

"Yes, what you are waiting for is your sentence. Now the adventure funds are already available."

Without Marguerite's confusion, she was sent to wash with water and put on a loose-fitting dress.

When she came out of the bathroom, her original appearance was revealed, and she clearly felt the gloom in the eyes of the men on the boat.

Margaret instinctively quickened his pace and returned to the young man. No matter how indifferent he was, as long as he stayed by his side, she would feel at ease in her heart.

   "Can you write?"

"meeting……"

"Very well, write a letter to your father."

The joy on Margaret’s face just came out, thinking that she had met a good person, but the rest of the young man’s words surprised her again.

"Just say that a kind person saved you. In order to thank me, you promised to give me 5 million responses."

Margaret took the pen and started to write. No matter what, she was able to go home and returned to the place full of light.

After finishing writing, Margaret respectfully handed it to the young man in front of her. When she heard the young man let her go out, Marguerite felt a hint of fear instinctively.

"Sir...Can I follow you?" She didn't know who this young man was, but she knew that she was very safe by staying with him.

At this time, Marguerite lowered her head blushingly as she listened to the protests in her stomach and looked at the gaze from the youth.

Sitting in the canteen, facing all kinds of simple food, Margaret burst into tears. Since being caught, she has not been so full again.

Marguerite suddenly thought of something, and glanced at the young man who was dining next to her, she secretly stuffed some plates of bread into her pocket.

After eating, Margaret sneaked to the deck, and she quickly took out all kinds of food in the bag. The slaves who had been hungry for a long time rushed frantically.

Don't expect the sailors to give them good food, it would be nice to live.

"Why did you give them the food?" A voice suddenly appeared behind her, and she quickly turned around and saw the captain.

"Because it is very uncomfortable to be hungry. I am full and they are still hungry."

"You ask your father to add more money, I can make them eat better."

"Really! Sir, you are such a good person." Marguerite jumped excitedly.

   "Good guy? Haha, maybe."

Just when Margaret was stunned in her heart and no one was hungry anymore, she suddenly saw a light spot on the sea.

The spot of light quickly approached. It was a large ship nearly 100 meters long with a huge white triangle painted on the hull.
