My name is..totsuzen...totsuzenshi…I Was born in a family of martial artists and swordsmen, my family mostly specialized in swordsmanship We had a Dojo that existed for hundreds of years…

But this is not important, not anymore…I Have died with honor in war, In a fair fight of swordsmanship...How I wish I could go further in my path and reach the end of the sword path as it was all I had in this

How I wish I have listened to my family and got myself a couple of wives before going to war… at least I am not the only man in the family, I hope that my brother is okay...

But most importantly where am I….I Thought I died….but I can still think and reason….Its…Dark…..But what am I feeling right now…All this information….OH! So that's where this is!... I have read about this in some of the books in the library to this it really exists….this is where people go after they die...The Root...Akashic records…vortex of radix...Great Dao

But I am in trouble now….people get absorbed into all this information and disappear...But I don't want to...Maybe if I focus on one thing and filter the rest I can survive somehow…..Yes… Let's do that… I'll focus on death… as that's the easiest considering my situation... I hope something happens so I can get out of here….

Somewhere unknown a kid can be seen on top of a tree a kid can be seen there with a small old man yelling

"Come Down from there! We're going to continue training!"

"But I Love you, gramps!" Responded the kid which caused the old man to get a bit shy

"Just so you know, I've been training on my own in secret, too!, I haven't been getting any sleep!, But I have absolutely nothing to show for it! What does this mean? I mean, really, what does this mean?"

And so so kept the kid yelling not noticing the clouds churning on top of him with thunder flashing here and there

"I've had enough!"

And Just as he yelled that as if the heavens heard him golden lightning crashed down on him causing him to fall down from the tree, This almost scared the old man to death as he ran towards him

{Some moments before that lightning struck}

The root.. this is where a little light orb can be seen floating there trying to fight off the corrosion caused by all the information in the root

But it is unknown if this resistance is effective as the more the soul stayed there and comprehended 'Death' the Darker and more condensed it got as it started giving off the scent of death

But the soul was ignorant of all the changes happening to it as it was immersed in the wisdom directly shown to it, which if it was alive even in a million years it wouldn't have gotten it from pondering alone

'Is Death the permanent cessation of all biological functions that sustain a living organism? Or is it the extinction or cessation of life? NO that's too shallow…hmm, so that's what it is… Death happens when something ceases to exist completely as in disappearances with no possibility of coming back that's true death..'

'So going with that logic I am not truly dead, it's just my body that is dead while my soul is alive...so there is truly a chance to come back I just have to wait for a chance'

After finishing with its thoughts the soul seemed to notice its situation as it almost turned completely black and shrank a lot as the dark death energy kept corroding the soul

'SHIT!!! I should have known that comprehending something like death will come with a price… even though I am at the Root…think...thing..think….FAST..'

'I Have to offset the energy and make balance which will probably also permit me to survive longer even if just a bit, lightning will do and its simple enough to understand, life is a no go as there is no much life energy in me, trying it will probably backlash and am just not into dying yet...okay lets do it!!!'

With that, he started focusing completely on lightning

'Lightning alone is pretty simple as it is is a naturally occurring electrostatic discharge during which two electrically charged regions in the atmosphere or ground temporarily equalize themselves, causing the instantaneous release of energy but it may produce electromagnetic radiation so lightning is also related to electromagnetism'

Electromagnetism is one of the four fundamental forces that govern all matter in the universe and trying to comprehend it in his current situation will just get him killed 'Truly killed'

So with that, he decisively chose to ignore everything about Electromagnetism and focus on lightning and thunder as they are companions of a sort

Those 2 were simple enough as his pitch-black soul now became a mix of gold and black as they clashed causing waves of energy to be generated

In a place such as 'the root' any changes can cause great effects and damage and before he knew it a cracked appeared were he is as he got 'kicked' from there as the only thought that came to his mind at that time was

'Is that all it took? But where am I now...'

With his soul kicked he appeared inside of a thunderstorm which he found comfortable for some reason and before he can even react he was guided down by a lightning bolt which transformed into golden color as soon as it 'touched' him

"Zenitsu!!!!"

As soon as the lightning bolt hit the kid the soul entered his body, the lightning and death concepts seemed to agree on something as the death concept destroyed the other soul directly while the lightning transformed the body so it can house them and use their power even one-billionth of it, While the lightning was changing the body the Death concept started 'creating something' as it had already destroyed the other soul

All of this happened in one picosecond as the body's hair transformed into golden color while the eyes turned into blue eyes with rainbow colors around the pupil before transforming back into golden color

The soul now was utterly confused as it already didn't know what's happening as soon as it was kicked from the root, but before it could reason and sort the new information/memories that appeared in its brain it lost consciousness

You guys may have already guessed what his power is, and if you did u probably already know that it comes with great drawbacks especially 2 concepts in one body, am not basing his power of any franchise so if there is any information that contradicts the original shows please remember that it is a fanfiction and that I am modeling his power so it can be used in different worlds and not keep getting him others every world
