Mystic Demon Slayer

[[[Beginning with the next chapter Manga spoilers will be coming left and right (not that heavy but they will intensify in later chapters) so if anybody has a problem with that I recommend you drop the novel and maybe come back once you read it or wait for the anime, if not then enjoy the ride]]]

After a long 30 minutes of explanation… well mostly Tanjiro assuring zenitsu that she doesn't harm humans every couple of words, Zenitsu finally understood the situation

'interesting… I really look forward to the result now… I hope he can do it, it's sad seeing such a cute little girl turning into a demon...'

Smiling towards Tanjiro he nodded and said

"I hope you can achieve it… but now you got somewhat of problem..."

Saying that he turned toward the boar dude whose mask dropped and now looks like a girl, he started waking up and he did just as zenitsu thought, he started trying to get into fights but somehow Tanjiro stopped him as he got him to help bury the corpses

Following that, they started burying the dead seeing this Zenitsu stood up as he gave them some help, with everyone's efforts it didn't take long for them to bury every dead body there

Looking at this many graves Zenitsu's expression didn't change one bit but one can see some sadness in his eyes

'This many deaths, killing innocent people and treating them as some sort of food to get stronger… disgusting'

Giving one last look to the graves he said in a low voice

"Earth to earth, dust to dust, ashes to ashes"

Just as they finished a couple of crows arrived one of them stood on his Shoulder and kept silent while the other one gave some sort of demon repellent to the kid with the special blood and looked at Tanjiro and the boar guy and kept yelling

"Follow yours truly"

While the crow on his shoulder just yelled

"Mission!! Mission!!"

Seeing this he looked at Tanjiro and the box in his back

"It appears that we will go in different directions, I hope I can meet you again, I am really curious how your quest will end..."

With that, he turned to a different direction as he started walking towards his next destination as heard Tanjiro's voice from behind

"See you later!!!"

Running towards his next destination Zenitsu couldn't help think about that brother and sister as a smile surfaced on his face, and with that, he began running at top speed using 'The Second Style: Here comes Lightning'

Even with Zenitsu running at top speed it took him almost a day to get there, following that he just started searching for a place to sleep as the sun was coming up and with him running all the way here with only resting a couple of times to eat and rest in the way he was tired

Other than that the travel wasn't problematic other than meeting a random demon in the forest and killing it

Reaching the small town Zenitsu just entered the first hotel he found and slept the whole day...Waking up some hours later he found the sun just about to set so he just grabbed something to eat from the restaurant next door as for some reason this hotel doesn't provide food

After eating his full Zenitsu just walked around the town with 'Awareness' Activated at full powerful

'This may be the most practical technique I created, finding demons is much easier with it….'

Walking around happily he just started entering different shops in case he found anything he likes while he smiled with self-satisfaction as his technique made his life easier

'To think there are this many shops open at night here...Hmm… This is? Oh found the demon…. Pretty weak but it doesn't matter'

With that, he moved towards the direction of the demonic presence with no hesitation as a human may die for no reason if he takes too long to arrive so he left a stunned shop owner looking at the position he disappeared at before she screamed

"AHHH!!! GHOOST!!!!"

In a fraction of a second Zenitsu already moved a couple of streets arriving at a house in the corner of the street, running towards it Zenitsu entered fast but seeing the scene inside he looked a bit sad but recovered his apathetic exterior soon after

'even though I ran as fast as I could I was late, by the time I sensed the demon the people should have been already dead...'

Looking inside the house a 'small kid' with white hair and red eyes can be seen standing in the middle of the room wearing a crazed look in the middle of a couple of corpses smiling crazily as he mumbled almost incomprehensibly

"I CAN GET STRONGER!!! I MUST KEEP GETTING STRONGER!!!"

With no remorse or giving a chance for the demon to fight back, Zenitsu just shot forward decapitating it in one swing with the combination of a couple of stances to make things simpler

With Zenitsu finishing his job here he just went back to walking around as his sword disappeared in black smokes the same way it appeared

After a night of walking around, he rested in the hotel before going on another mission… and another…and an other….This kept on for a couple of weeks of none stop missions as zenitsu kept on slaughtering demons left and right

'Sigh…i just finished another mission I need to find someone strong to fight soon or am not gonna do missions anymore...'

Sighing sadly Zenitsu just kept on walking in the dark forest with no direction, he didn't know why he came here, he just felt like he will find what he is looking for if he went in this certain direction so he just left the town and kept walking, its been 2 hours since he started walking and he started getting bored of this

'did my 6th sense fail me this time? It is usually correct… never mind'

Suddenly his head snapped to his right as his eyes locked into a certain figure walking in the forest, as if feeling the gaze on him the humanoid figure turned towards Zenitsu as 6 weird eyes met 2 golden ones
