Mystic Demon Slayer

Calming his emotions Zenitsu Activated his Mystic eyes of death perception as his eyes changed color to blue with rainbow color around the pupil but that is not the only change as golden lightning started flashing around him with the sound of thunder getting higher by the second

"Forbidden Style: Transcendent..."

But unknown to zenitsu black mark appeared on his face in a weird shape of a circle bolt under his left eye which helped him somewhat counter the side effects on using the Forbidden Style and even making it stronger

Its the demon slayer mark… but as soon as it appeared the concepts of thunder and death acted as they sent their powers towards it and in a fraction of a second the curse on the mark was destroyed as the mark's color got so black that it appeared like it is absorbing the light around as it's shape started changing before it became a pitch-black lightning bolt-shaped mark

But the changes weren't just the shape and the removal of the curse as it improved his physical and tactical abilities even better than when it first appeared and also made the use of the thunder and death concepts easier and helped with the burden

But in Zenitsu's current situation he didn't notice it as it is the first time he used the ' Forbidden Style: Transcendent' and he thought it is the power of Forbidden Style, not some other power that got activated because of him reaching his limit by luck

But him not noticing it didn't mean the man… or demon fighting him didn't notice it as he looked at Zenitsu who now looked like a different being

Looking at the young man in front of him he noticed the change of his eye color as it became blue with rainbow colors around the pupil which gave him the feeling of death

And suddenly demon slayer marks appeared out of nowhere before changing their shape into a black lightning bolt and with its appearance, the young mans eyes shone brighter than ever and similarly, his sword started giving off a weird feeling around it

Looking at the change and the vision he saw through the See-Through world Kokushibo didn't think further as he turned tail and ran as fast as he physically could without looking back

'WHAT IS THIS!!!! DEATH!! DEATH!!! DEATH!!! I CAN FEEL LIKE DEATH IS LOOKING AT ME!!! I HAVE TO RUNN!!! EVERY FIBER OF MY BEING IS TELLING ME TO RUN!!! I HAVE NEVER FELT LIKE THIS EVEN WHEN I FOUGHT MY YOUNGER BROTHER!!'

Looking at the demon running from him zenitsu just smiled lightly but one can feel the depression in that smile 'This is why I don't use it...' Looking around he saw how frail the world is… but he shook the feeling fast as he focused on the demon again

'I am heavily injured from that slash… I can do 2 attacks at most as I have to leave some stamina in case he survives so I won't be defenseless, even though for some reason the burden is way lower for some reason… doesn't matter….'

Taking a step he passed 1/4 of the distance between then… 'all I have to do...' and with that he passed 3/4 of the distance 'is to..' and with one last step he was right behind him 'Kill' and so he slashed his sword down towards a line that seemed to cut the demon in two

Feeling Zenitsu appear right behind him the demon can already feel death coming with no way to run as despair appeared in his heart as he started thinking fast

'This kid is weird… he is too dangerous I have to run fast...in his current form I can't fight him back or I am going to get killed… I can feel it… but he doesn't have access to the See-Through world from what I saw of the past fight so I have a chance to run..and it is impossible for him to stay in this for long'

And as if predicting the attack the demon escaped it as a huge cut appeared in the forest as zenitsu's attack cut the wrong line because of Kokushibo, looking at this Zenitsu's frowned his brows as he thought

'Again… how is he doing it… I am sure it is not a blood demon art...i have to end him fast I can't go on for long I can only attack once more or the injury will cause some repercussion later on'

With that, he exerted himself to the max as he zoomed towards the demon's left side as he focused on another line before slashing as he made sure there is no way for the demon to dodge the attack

Looking at the sword coming his way Kokushibo found no way to dodge as Zenitsu in this form is even faster than him… the only reason he was able to dodge the first one was because Zenitsu didn't think he would be able to

'This kid is too fast.. I can't dodge...ill sacrifice one arm ill just regenerate it later but I can't stop running and fight him'

And with him making the choice he dodged a bit to the right but Zenitsu was having none of it

'if I can't kill you here… then I'll weaken you… Hmph… that's for slashing me'

And so he aimed towards the closest line * SWISH * and as a consequence, an arm went flying into the air in Kokushibo's stunned eyes but he reacted fast as he bolted fast into the forest as Zenitsu just stood there and looked at him

Looking down at where his arm used to be Kokushibo looked stunned 'This…why can't I regenerate it… so my feeling was right… one cut and I would have died...'

Looking back at the young man that just stood there looking at him he clenched his teeth as he yelled towards him

"WE SHALL MEET AGAIN!!! ZENITSU AGATSUMA!!!"

Looking at Kokushibo's running figure Zenitsu's eyes were clouded as he deactivated the 'Forbidden Style' and thought to himself

'i have to learn whatever that is… I barely hit him even with my full power, if I didn't have my mystic eyes I would have died here… but I got too many benefices and I can feel that something awakened inside of me after this fight, finally I can progress more I was in some kind of bottleneck'

While zenitsu was thinking about how he can progress further, 2 Hashiras can be seen running towards where he is at insane speed zooming through the forest as the crow already informed HQ about upper-moon one fighting Zenitsu and called for Reinforcements
