Standing under the shining sun a young man with golden eyes and hair can be seen standing in from of a short old man

"Its time huh, you could have left a year ago but I guess staying here was for the best as you were able to improve even more..."

"Sigh... Yes gramps its time for me to leave"

"Take care kid, and for the ore of your sword just choose whatever you feel is good for you"

"Gramps couldn't you just have gotten me a blade and just recommend me to the corps I mean I can probably beat a Hashira to death"

"Don t get c.o.c.ky kid, you lack experience compared to them and the Exam is required from everyone its a tradition, you can't be like I am strong, make me a Hashira right now… never mind you could but I want you to experience it once or twice with weak demons before that"

"yeeeh sure… see ya gramps"

And with that Zenitsu turned towards the direction of the exam as he disappeared in a beam of lightning only leaving behind some words accompanied by the sound of thunder

"Breath of Lightning, Second Style, Here comes Lightning"

Looking at the beam of lightning accompanied by the sound of thunder, Jigoro just shook his head "Show off..."

'well... thinking about It he does have a point, in term of experience the Hashira's may be above him but in term of speed he is the fastest even faster than me when I was a Hashira, but again it doesn't matter… after all his most powerful ability is his eyes, so against those demons that are confident in their defenses and ability he is deadly as only one strike is needed and as we have tested even a demon cant regenerate after being cut with those eyes even when he used a kitchen knife'

(A/N: I triple checked that wounds Inflicted by Mystic eyes of death perception cant be healed or regenerated, once you are cut you are done for, its an insta-kill ability with speed being the most important factor as you only need to hit once)

In his way towards the exam site, Zenitsu couldn't help but smile as he remembered the last 3 years, those years were hard, it felt like hell sometimes

The most difficult thing was trying to extend the time he can use the Mystic eyes for and trying to focus on only the things he wants, that alone took him more than a year, while the training for extending the time is still ongoing

He also finished the breathing technique last year with 8 total styles, the styles were mostly based on his eyes so he didn't focus on power, it was mostly focussed on speed, for example, the one he is using now called 'Here comes Lightning'

Its a Movement technique for long travel which augments the speed of the user but keeps the stamina consumption low, but it also comes with drawbacks such as the sound of thunder that accompanies the user so sneaking is impossible as he can be heard coming miles away and it is also impossible to instantly stop in this form in case of surprises as a gradual stop is needed

Even though it has some drawbacks this style wasn't made for battle so it doesn't matter much for him

About the training, The easiest thing in the whole training program was strengthening the lungs and using the technique for 24/7, compared to the other stuff it was much easier, it felt like heaven compared to what he had to suffer when strengthening his body and brain as he forced his body to withstand the pressure of his eyes being opened for a long time, not the smartest thing to do but effective

Shaking his head Zenitsu focused on the road and sped up even more 'finally, I can be called strong…in my past life even as an a.d.u.l.t, I was never this strong, it's like comparing a novice to the number one in the world… I look forward to the future'

Somewhere at the bottom of a mountain a young man with a burgundy hair color wearing a cloud pattern blue colored haori walked slowly as he kept looking around admiring the beauty of the forest

Suddenly he looked back behind him in confusion 'this sound… thunder? That's weird considering the weather… huh? what's that... Its getting closer' looking at the source of the sound he noticed a gold-colored beam coming right his way at insane speed he couldn't even make what it is, but with no time to consider he just jumped to the side trying to dodge but it was all for nothing as before he could realize it he was hit sending clouds of dust went everywhere

"Cough...cough"

"What was that ?!!"' Standing up and looking around wearily ' I couldn't even dodge… but luckily it slowed down before hitting me or else with a speed like that I would be Injured'

Suddenly he heard coughing noises a couple of meters away from inside the cloud of dust

"Cough…. Shit, I knew I shouldn't have tested my max speed while using that technique, By the time I noticed him I couldn't even stop, luckily I started slowing down as soon as I entered this forest or else whoever I hit would've died, never going to do that again…."

Hearing this the young man opened his eyes wide 'so I almost died?' calming down a bit he looked towards the voice before yelling

"Anyone there? Are you okay?"

"Yes, I am okay, sorry for running right into you I couldn't stop at that speed..."

Following the voice, a young man with golden hair and eyes, his state couldn't be called graceful as his golden haori was full of dust

"Not the best may to meet people but whatever, hello my name is Zenitsu…Zenitsu Agatsuma what about yours "

Seeing this the young man already calmed down and introduced himself

"Umm hello I'm Tanjiro kamado nice to meet you"

Totsuzenshi, Zenitsu's old name means Sudden death

Unknown to Zenitsu his appearance caused changes in the world's fate as Kaigaku a guy who was supposed to be his follow student never got taken by Jigoro as he decided to focus on training Zenitsu to be his successor and didn't have time for anything else (A/N: From what I got based on the anime/manga/wiki Kaigaku was taken at the same time as Zenitsu or after, so I have taken the liberty of removing him)

Mystic Eyes of death perception has the ability to kill concepts and ignore the power gaps
