Mystic Demon Slayer

Well… it didn't look like a sword it looked like a chunk of straight wood, as soon as Zenitsu's hands touched it, under Homusubi and Jigoro's stunned eyes the wood's color changed to pitch black as white markings appeared all over it making it look mysterious

After this transformation, nothing changed but it keeps giving off this weird feeling… end? Death ?, looking at it Zenitsu's mouth couldn't help but twitch as he pretended not knowing what happened, so he raised his head and asked Homusubi

"Is it supposed to do this? I thought only the blade changes color..."

"That's what I thought too, this never happened before, why don't you unsheathe it ?"

Following what he asked for he unsheathed it slowly, the blade looked normal for a second before it changed to a golden color, looking at it Zenitsu smiled happily

'Finally my own sword and the Death and Lightning concepts changed it's structure completely, as soon as I held it they sent waves after waves of energy into it, it seems to have some powers that I need to figure out, the only ones I know at the moment aren't offensive abilities, its weird how as soon as It changed the information appeared in my head'

'I can hide the sword inside my body and it appears no one can hold the sword other than me or the Death and lightning concepts won't be happy about it, and lastly its how to strengthen it, its relatively easy, just the more you kill the stronger it is also the more it absorbs lightning the stronger it gets so it is 2ways'

Raising his head he looked at Jigoro who nodded

"I Expected that color but the change of the hilt and scabbard are weird, but it doesn't matter..."

Looking at the Sword in Zenitsu's hand Homusubi really wanted to take it back and study how it changed color like that his soul as a swordsmith kept on bugging him, but something tells him he won't be able to take it so he just shook his head and gave up

Just moments after what happened a crow entered the house and started yelling

"Zenitsu Agatsuma!"

"Here are your orders! Head to...."

{A Day latter}

Zenitsu can be seen walking in a town somewhere in the north as he looked around as if looking for something

'It's impossible to for a demon to appear in daylight, let's ask the locals and look around, all I was told was that some rich locals were disappearing, all males'

Looking around he stopped some passerby, a man who looked in his thirty

"Hello, can you help me with something please..."

Greeting Zenitsu The man nodded indicating for him to ask

"I Was told that some of the Rich locals were disappearing here, what's your opinion on it and who do you think the next one will be"

Looking at Zenitsu the man felt a bit weird, is this guy a journalist? (A/N: do journalists even exist in that era ?) Looking at Zenitsu from top to bottom the man's eyes shone as he shook a bit with excitement

'A Demon Hunter?!!, but where is his sword? Maybe it's hidden, for a demon hunter to be here it means that a demon is close by!! I need to go back and tell my family to stay home those couple of days'

Looking at the weird man in front of him Zenitsu waited patiently for his answer, and an answer he got as the man finally started talking

"If we are going by the same formula then Mr. Eisaku should be the next victim, he is a local merchant, you can find his house after a couple of blocks in this direction it has a huge red door"

Thanking the man Zenitsu went to a hotel to rest a bit before night falls as he is still tired from the journey

At night Zenitsu can be seen sitting on top of a house with his eyes closed As he activated 'Fifth Style: Awareness', the only reason he didn't activate this style from the beginning to find the demon is the fact that it is based on his hearing senses and in such a big town the noise affects its range greatly so it's not as useful as it would be in a forest

Suddenly Zenitsu's eyes snapped open as he looked towards his left but saw nothing, he was sure that something is there as when he uses his Awareness he can 'see' a blob of blood-red energy there

Seeing that it didn't notice him he just kept following it as it entered the house and went towards the library where the man named Eisaku seems to be

Suddenly appearing behind the man was a demon it looked humanoid with multicolored markings all over it, Holding the man it threw him to the floor as it started talking with hate-filled voice

"YOU!!! RICH MEN!!! ALWAYS THE SAME!!! OPPRESSING THE LOWER CLA.S.S!! TAKING THEIR LOVED ONES!!!!!"

And it kept on blabbering non stop about how oppressed the lower class is so on and so forth, the man named Eisaku seemed confused as much as he was scared as he kept yelling and trying to run for his life

"Whaa...Wheee…. What are you talking about!!! I didn't do anything!!! PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP!!!"

With him yelling the people in the estate seemed to wake up as sounds of footsteps came from all over but the demon didn't seem to care as it walked slowly towards the man

"I'll eat you and get stronger and then eat more of the rich men and keep getting stronger!!! HAH HAHAHA!!!"

But it didn't notice the death reaper behind it standing in the window shaking his head with regret and remorse

'Its always like this, demons are mostly troubled before transforming into ones, but… it doesn't change what they became'

Raising his hand Black smoke appeared and transformed into a black 'stick' with white markings all over it, holding its scabbard and hilt in each hand he unsheathed it slowly as its golden edge appeared shining in the dark, releasing the scabbard from his hand it transformed into dark smoke as it disappeared before touching the ground

Holding his sword in his hand he chanted in his heart as the sound of thunder appeared in the room with a burst of golden light before disappearing leaving only a headless corpse of a demon there as it decomposed slowly
