Mystic Wizard in Azeroth

Chapter 46: Arrivals

The road after was calm, not to mention trolls, even wild beasts are rarely encountered.

When they saw the camp, Taranas and others finally relaxed their tight nerves and let out a breath.

"Finally here, Aristophanes!" Taranas said with emotion, "Thanks to you, otherwise I don't know how many moths will come out along the way."

"This is where I will be stationed in the future!" Aristophane thought, looking at the surroundings curiously.

This is the location of the Farstrider Camp for later generations. The tall white spire stone tower has not been built yet. There are only a few large and small wooden huts surrounding a stone building in the middle.

The west side of the camp is leaning against a group of mountains, where the tombs of the Zuaman trolls are all there.

To the north is Lake Elendal, and the Tower of Morning Star, facing it across the lake in later generations, has no shadow at this moment.

The trolls in Zuaman face directly to the south. Although they still haven't emerged from the shadow of their defeat in the last war, they have a tendency to invade outside.

Ordinary rangers live in the surrounding wooden houses, and the camp is surrounded by wooden fences on three sides, which looks very simple.

"Why don't you build permanent fortifications here?" Aristophanes asked Taranas.

"Because although it is very close to Zuaman, the trolls have never attacked this place for more than a hundred years," Taranas said. "There is another reason that Silvermoon City is too far away. There is no property like this. In places where there is no magical vein, the masters of the parliament will not allocate funds to develop here."

Aristophanes continued to look around without speaking.

"Okay, relax. The remaining rangers are here, let's go and meet them."

Then he followed Taranas to the two elves who came out of the stone house.

"Sinua\'manore, long time no see, Taranas." The male elf that came out said to Taranas.

"Long time no see, Adrian, and Heather." The three gave a hug, and Taranas continued, "Come on, let me introduce you to both. This is Aristophane Windrunner, who is stationed this time. The army mage, the junior of our family; Aristophanes, these are Adrian Dawnwalker and Heather Nova, my old friends, and the ranger leader and army mage who were stationed here before."

"Anubelore\'na, hello." Aristophanes made a mage ceremony.

"Hello," Adrian and Heather replied, and then Adrian said, "Come with me, there are veterans outside, don't worry about the recruits."

Then the two followed Adrian into the stone house.

The room is as simple as the outside. A map is placed on the stone table in the middle hall. There are some magic lighting torches on the wall. There are two bright and clean bows that are worn but still wiped. The handles are very polished. Smooth, it should be the weapon of Adrian and Arthur.

"The conditions are simple, let's drink some water first." Adrian took the two to sit down by the stone table and poured two glasses of water for them. "I heard that you were attacked by a troll on your way? "

"Yes." Taranas took the glass and drank it. "It's just that thanks to Aristophane's spells, we didn't suffer much loss."

"It looks like the troll has really recovered." Adrian frowned.

"Do you have any news here?"

"Since last year, our rangers have been missing and dying in this jungle, and the logistics team has been attacked by scattered trolls. I was not sure before. Based on your information, it can be inferred that there is a small group of giants. The devil is launching an attack on us."

"It should be the troll who shouted that day." Aristophane interjected.

"It's hard to say, we haven't captured any trolls, so we don't have any useful information, but their activity is already obvious. Without further ado, I need to return to Silvermoon City to report to the king."

"Are you sure you can see the king?" Taranas also frowned, "You can't pass the parliament pass."

"Always try. We all know the fertility and growth rate of the trolls. If you leave it alone, you will have big troubles. I will go through the handover procedures with you later." After talking, Adrian stood up and walked in. The next room began to organize supplies and documents.

"He's always been like this, don't worry about him." Heather said at the right time, "I hope you will be mentally prepared when you see the supplies."

Taranas and Aristophane looked at each other and didn't understand Heather's meaning, but it didn't take long for them to realize when Adrien showed them the list of supplies.

"Are you kidding, Adrian?!" Taranas said angrily. "Does such a large camp even have a hundred spare bowstrings and a thousand bows and arrows? And there is only enough food for two hundred people to eat ten. day?"

"There is no way." Adrian looked bitter, "Before you came, our supply team had been attacked by trolls, intermittently, and the food was saved with hard work for these ten days."

"It's okay, Taranas, the baggage we brought can last about three months." Aristophanes is very clear about the amount of baggage.

"But after three months?" Taranas asked, "What if the troll attacks our logistics route again? Let alone escorts, recruits can't grow so fast!"

"Let’s take a moment, Taranas, there will be a proper solution," Aristophane comforted, "It’s really impossible for me to be a guard and **** the supplies. I also want to see if their head is hard or mine. The meteorite is hard."

"Taranas, you don't have to worry so much," Adrian also said, "I will definitely report the difficulties here to King Anastalia when I go to Silvermoon City. I believe it will be improved soon."

"Oh, okay," Taranas sighed and tightened the parchment in his hand. "Then when are you leaving?"

"Tomorrow morning, I still have a welcome party for you tonight. I also have a good bottle of moonlight wine hidden there."

That night, under the organization of Adrian, a huge magic fire was erected in the center of the camp~www.wuxiahere.com~ A group of elves were eating barbecue, playing the piano and singing, which also made Aristophanes grow up. Got insight.

Early the next morning, Adrian and Heather led the veterans who had changed their defenses and quickly left here. Aristophane and Taranas stood at the gate of the camp and watched them leave.

"Aristophane, do you think he can succeed?"

"I don't know, Taranas. But according to what I saw and heard in Silvermoon City, Adrian must not see His Majesty the King, but His Majesty will also know the difficulties we encounter here. The next thing is the parliament and the king." Aristophane said calmly, "so we have to rely on ourselves next."

"It seems that you really offended a great person in Silvermoon City, and can send you to this place." Taranas patted him on the shoulder.

"Who knows, I went back to Taranas. It was stated in advance that the defense of the camp, the scope and time of daily reconnaissance and patrol, and the plan to prevent surprise attacks. These combat matters are unified under your jurisdiction. I will never interfere."

"Then what are you doing?" Taranas opened his eyes wide. He was also the first time he saw such a self-aware army mage.

"Find a way for you and the ranger under your hand!" Aristophane said naturally, "You also heard Adrian say that the scale of the troll's attack is expanding, and I can't really rely on me to keep the logistics. Escort the road!"

"Okay, okay, you just need to go, but when the battle requires your effort, don't be afraid!" Leaving Silvermoon City and coming to the frontline outpost, it seems that Taranas's nature is also released. No longer so gentle.

"Then I need you to say it!" After speaking, he turned around and walked back to the camp.

   "Hey, you kid!"
