Mystical Academy: The Mystery of the World

He's a great instructor when it comes in body fitness. My stamina gets stronger and I know how to control my gifts. Still, I don't show him the two legacies I have. There are lots of eyes around me. Anytime, those monsters are ready to attack me. I also keep Flame close to me and flirt with him. He kissed me a lot and there are times that we almost do it. Good thing that I am not that attracted on him because this body is already into someone.

So, the case about the romantic relationship about me and Nicholas was done. Eliza came back to finish her schooling. And guess what? Like she had nothing to do about me and Nicholas getting into the court. She still smile at me. Be my best friend or friend. And a sister also, when I needed someone to talk to. But I, as Catastrophe doesn't need anyone to talk to. Because, Catastrophe is independent and Catastrophe deal her things all by herself.

"Catastrophe!" Jean, the assistant director of the Drama class walking briskly and breathless. She hold on my shoulder and hold her chest then take a deep breath. She smiles at me and I respond a look. "Good thing that I catch you. So, at four we have a practice and we need you there for the musical effects. Is that alright? You barely visit the drama auditorium." She scrunch up her nose. I lifted my right hand to peek on the time.

"Okay. But I have to go at five-thirty. I have a class to Mr. Gregory."

"You two seemed very close to each other. Is his lectures are that important? Because, he almost got all your time for his class." Now, she's wondering.

"I guess it is that important." I murmur. She nods with pretty smiles.

"Mr. Nick really cares a lot about you. I heard a lot of things about him and his past, Adhiti before I enter this school. I think, he doesn't want anything bad happened to you like Adhiti."

Adhiti? Bad happening? Trust me, I had learn everything about Adhiti's tragic pasts and her death. I wanted to tell her frankly but I can't say it though. Adhiti, the girl who is alluring that everyone loves. So sad that nobody is there to save her. Even the person she loves and the people who truly loves her can't protect her. She's so naïve.

I enter the auditorium and walk towards the stage where they are arguing about the performance of the band. The drummer keep on messing on his drums while Mrs. Patterson just watch them.

"Lead singer?" I asked her. Yes, I can sing because I had practiced singing when Marcus is teaching me how. Adhiti is not a singer that's why I have to do things that she cannot do.

"Yes, they actually need a female singer. So are you IN or Out?"

"I'll try."

"Wait!" the lead guitarist Grayson which I also thought the male singer of the band raise his hand to stop me. "Before she even become our singer, she needs to audition first." I shrugged and tilt my head to the side.

I walk towards the stage after I gave my violin to Jean. I face the guitarist which is also Adhiti's friend when she's still alive with them. I barrow a classic guitar from someone and I hang it around me. Then I started strumming and plucking the guitar. The first song that I learned from Marcus is Safe and Sound of Taylor Swift. The story was really sad and serene.

I remember tears streaming down your face, when you said you'll never let me go. I sang it with full emotions and feelings for them to know that the song was shivering.

I finish the song and looked at their admiring and teary expression. Okay, that is really unusual for Catastrophe to look at it. I looked at Grayson who is all staring at me and the drummer who play the music with me with little beat.

"What?" I asked him. He shook his head.

"You can sing?"

"Obviously." I took off the guitar from me and gave it to the bass of the band. I was about to walk off but they stopped me.

"What about Adele?" Grayson asked me. "And Ellie Goulding?"

I spend my 45 minutes singing and trying to be Adele and Ellie Goulding singing their songs. So they let me choose 2 songs on four songs that I sang. So, for Adele, I choose Set fire to the rain and Burn of Ellie Goulding since it is a fire dance competition for Halloween next week.

"5 minutes late." He told me. I drop my duffel bag on the ground. I also zip up my sweater because it is freezing.

"I have to spend my vacant in Mystical Performing Arts."

"And what did you do?" he raise his left eyebrow. I sigh getting little irritated. I throw a fire in front of him just to let go of my anger. He just look down on it not even surprised on my sudden tantrums. "You are not going to put me on fire."

"I can do that." I confronted him. I lifted my hand and lighten my fire. He just cross his arms and gave me a poker face. He stepped on the fire that I throw on the grounds and it immediately dies.

"Concentrate on shooting the target first." He pointed the target board half kilometer away from us. I raise my hand to see it clearly because it is too far and the sunset blinded me a little.

"Seriously?" I asked him. He nods. I pick up my bow and arrow that he gave to me. It was carved by his own hands and the arrows are made by his own hands too. I put the ring for me not to cut myself. I raise both the arrow and the bow. I raise my right elbow and close left eye to concentrate on the target. I breathe and release it. However it didn't even get close to the target. I looked at Nick who just watch me. I take another arrow and unluckily it falls down on the ground.

"Again." So annoying. I did it again and again until my arms get slump and numb. I let out an annoying sigh and pick another arrow. "Drop it and make five push-ups."

"What?!" I exclaimed which more in complain. Did he even consider that my arms are tired and getting numb? Or did he even thought that his apprentice is exhausted from a long day? I lazily and exhaustedly push-ups on the ground. After five I fall my face on the ground. I didn't move for him to know that I am not alright with his demanding torture training.

"Get up now." I didn't get up. Instead, I close my eyes as my ear pressed on the ground and listen on the sound of the ground. The vibration, the wind, his footsteps, the trees… I felt the top of his head gently pressed on the top of my head like he's mimicking my actions. "Do you like the sound?" I breathes freely.

I heard another footsteps coming and I still didn't open my eyes. His scent enters my nostrils so I can determine that it is Andrew's scent. His favorite perfume. The perfume that Adhiti likes too. I can smell the ocean from him and juices of peaches mixed with the scent of mint. I felt him lay down beside me and I also assume that he mimics our doing.

"What are you doing?" he whispers like it is a secret. "It is very relaxing." He murmurs. I breathe and smiled on the beautiful sound of crickets. I can sleep like this by listening to the sound of nature.

Tap, tap, tap. That hurts a bit. Why is someone tapping my face? It is annoying. When I open my eyes it was all dark but I saw a man's silhouette. He pulls me up to get up. I rubbed my eyes and blinks to adjust on my surroundings. I sneeze and hold my nose.

"Why are you burning up?" he asked. I don't know that I am burning up. I just don't feel alright.

"She's burning up?" Andrew asked and corner my face with his big palms. "You look reddish. Is my baby alright?" my throat feels dry and rough. So I cannot talk normally. I cleared my throat but damn, it is really dry and rough.

"Are you feeling cold?" Nicholas asked and I just nod. He tried to heal me but it just doesn't work so my brother carried me while Nick took our bags. I hugged Andrew's neck and lean my forehead on his cheek.

"She's really burning…" Andrew murmurs. My eyes are really heavy and drowsy so I just closed it. After a few moment, I feel a warm fluffy and bouncy bed of the hospital of our school.

"What's with her?" someone asked. I tried to open my eyes but I failed.

"She's burning up. We need to know her temperature." Andrew's voice is very deep. My consciousness is getting weaker and I guess that anytime soon I will pass out. I felt something cold pressed on my ear.

"96 degree Celsius! This is not normal." The unfamiliar voice exclaims.

"Cold water!" I open my eyes to see Nicholas demanding people. "I will bring her to her room while you move quickly and gather ice and turn on the water in bathtub." Andrew immediately nods. My eyes is really drowsy but I wanted to see the people around me. I felt that I was carried by Nick. "Hold on, okay? Talk to me and tell me what you feel."

"I…" my voice feels really rough. "I need water. I felt a jolt of fire from my left back. It is really painful…" I murmur. "My eyes are burning too." I feel like I was bouncing.

"Yes, what else?"

"Nick…" I called his nick-name and breathes. "I wanted to cry." I felt like we stop. I open my eyes and he's looking down at me. He pulls me up before I even slipped off. I hugged his neck to hold on him though I know that he felt he got burns because of me.

"Cry. Don't hold it." I felt his kiss on my forehead and he run again. Fast. After a few moments, I suddenly wake up because of a whimper. I felt a furry thing rubbed on my nose. "Catastrophe." I look up at him though I feel so heavy. He pulls me up and gave me a cold water. I drank it all and I felt relieved for a short time. Marissa was there with Patrick. I look around me and Andrew was there too busy on something.

Marissa removed my shoes and my sweater. Then, Nicholas put me down on the freezing water that makes me gasps. There are smoke coming out from my skin like I was a candle who was put in the water and dies. I felt a thing that I lean on. It feels like a diving board or something. I breathe and breathe trying to take all the pain. My back is burning and it is not even helping.

"Why is it still burning?!" I scream and hold on the tub tight. I don't know what else happened but even the water can't help me. I felt his hand held mine and gently kissed it. "Take away the pain…" I beg him and a hot tear falls from my eyes. He gently caress my face though I know that it burns him. "Please…" he tried to heal me but nothing happened.

I felt a jolt of electricity. I felt my eyes dilated and my body feels paralyze. Things keeps playing on my mind. Palace, people, dresses… fire, water, air…trees… I hear the birds and growling of werewolves. I heard someone's voice inside my head.

"The time has come…" that very deep, intriguing, shivering, warm voice whispers in my ear. I scream when I saw a dragon breathing fire and blow a fire on me. I scream in pain of the burning hell. All I know is that I collapsed on the cold water. But I tried to gently open my eyes. I saw a red-orange light from me but I can still see Nick's expression. He was baffled.

"Why is her hair glowing in red—orange?" I heard Andrew's voice. I am relieved that they never leave me. Nicholas gently pulls me into a tight hug and kissed my head.

"You worried me too much." I looked at Patrick who is all baffled and I guess he had seen what I had seen. Nick gently holds my cheek and kissed my lips. But I am tired and I feel unconscious and I don't even care on his actions. I just wanted to sleep and I did.

But, sleeping…? I just wished that I didn't sleep. Those disgusting monsters show up and tried to eat me alive. I don't know if I was the one that they wanted, but the voice is not mine. There are lots of voices behind the back of my head.

Although, nightmares creeps me out. I am very relieved that someone is there embracing me when I feel so cold. I found a big muscular arms around me, hugging me from behind. He got burns on his arms and on his palm. I gently caress his burns that are getting purplish. I am also not in my room on our dormitory. This room wasn't Adhiti's room on their house. The room was simple but luxuriant. There are lots of flowers around. I also smell some jasmine, honey and vanilla.

I guess that I over slept. And, he had been embracing me since then. I am also coated in a long sleeve sweater and a warm duvet. I feel cold and I don't feel really good. I wonder if he take all the burns and pains just to embrace me and comfort me. Did he do it for Adhiti or to me?

"How are you feeling?" he gently speaks on my left ear.

"I-don't know…" I murmur. He gently slipped off his arms around me and I waited on his next step. I gently lay my back flat on the bed and looked at him. He pour a water on the glass and he put a straw. He gently helped me to get up and lean on the head board. He's that very careful and caring. He sat beside me and gently move the glass towards me and pointed the straw on my lips. I watch him care for me while I sipped on the water.

"I reject on putting dextrose on you." He told as fresh chills goes down on my throat to my chests and gives chills on my lungs to wake up my sleeping nerves. "I brought you to my cabin than in the hospital." I swallowed and gently licks my lips.

"How many days I have been here?"

"This is your second night here. Patrick just accept the medication that the doctor prescribes for you."

"I won't ever drank any med." I told him.

"I won't let you drank any medication. The reason why you suddenly had a high temperature is because, your body is slowly adapting on the natures of your gifts." He explain briefly. I never felt this way before but I had been always sick when I was with George while I had learnt my gifts. He pour another water on the glass and he let me drank as I want. My throat is dry and rough. My mouth also dry almost instant. "I will prepare your porridge."

"I'm not hungry." I told him. My voice low and slow.

"You have to eat." He sound more like a father. Is he really taking all the career for being my guardian? "Marcus will be here to visit you. I told him about your condition."

"Why did you call him?" I gently breathe and leans my head.

"I have to leave to get back to my Kingdom. I got a business there."

"You are going to leave me in this strange place, alone?"

"You are not alone. You are with Ruin and Marcus." A white thing jumped on the bed and licked my face. He is really growing bigger. I gently lift my heavy hand and patted him. He left and I got a chance to admire the wide room with full of living things. It is more like I am in a Garden of Eden.

He came back with a bowl, orange juice, and few saucers on a table tray. He put it in front of me where I was like in a hospital. I tried to lift my hand but it feels heavy so he took my arms and hand and massage it.

"Where is this place?"

"A place that is very far from people."

"How can Marcus get here?"

"I told Patrick and Andrew to pick him up." After he massage me, I lifted my arms and hand and it feels lighter. I stop for a moment and stare at his neck. He got a burn on his neck.

"Why did you still embrace me even though you got burnt?"

"Because, I am your guardian. I am responsible on you."

Why is he taking all the responsibility? Though half of me didn't want to because he betray Adhiti. I still have this hate on him. But damn, half of myself didn't want to be away from him.
