Ren's speed was now faster than Gaara's shield and he landed a punch right on his face. This punch was able to break Gaara's armor of sand and send Gaara a few meters back. Since Gaara wasn't expecting to be hit he crashed right into a tree.

"We will settle this fight later in the chunin exams, and right now I will go return my scrolls." - Ren

The reason why Ren decided to run to return his scrolls is that when he uses blood boiling to the limit his stats lower for a long time after. To make sure he could get away Ren made two water clones and sent a liquid bullet straight at him. Then he yelled towards Hinata and Shino to run towards the center building. They then ran towards the center building and made it without much interruption from team Baki except sometimes having to avoid air release jutsu from Temari.

Now that they were in the center building they had to wait the next five days and so Ren decided to use this opportunity to a breakthrough in the soul path and soul-devouring path to rank 1 because he already has the method. During the next five days, Ren was able to break through to rank 1 in the soul path and soul-devouring path and everyone that passed this section in the manga still passed it. Now the third stage of the chunin exam was starting to take place and it was the exact same test that they did in the manga.

"First fight Sasuke Uchiha vs. Yoroi Akadō" - Hayate (AN: I will not describe every fight just what changed because of Ren.)

This fight went exactly like what happened in the manga, but this reminded Ren that Yoroi has a chakra absorbing method and Ren thinks that it could be very helpful. So once Sasuke defeated him Ren left the arena and made a water clone to act like him. Then once he used All Existence to make sure no one is watching him he transformed to look like a normal jounin and then walked over to Yoroi.

"Yoroi If you follow me I can give you much more help than that snake man." - Ren (Disguised)

"Why would I need your help, I can become a great ninja without your help." - Yoroi

Seeing Yoroi's confidence Ren decided to show some of his capabilities and make a small cut on his hand with his claws and does a slash forward at Yoroi which also sends out a small blade of blood that cuts Yoroi's cheek.

"I can grant you control over your blood, power, and immortality." -Ren

said Ren half truthfully because it would allow Yoroi to control his blood and live long, but it couldn't grant immortality.

"Immortality! I will work under you now." - Yoroi

Even though Yoroi said he would work under Ren he just thought able getting stronger and then leaving Ren.

Now that Ren's vampire blood concentration was higher, he was confident that he would be able to make Yoroi into a vampire. Ren bit Yoroi's neck and s.u.c.k.e.d out some of his blood and turned it into points and then made some blood come out of the cut he made previously and put it in Yoroi's bloodstream. Once the blood was in Yoroi's bloodstream his skin turned paler and his eyes now had a red shimmer to them.

"Now tell me the technique you use to absorb chakra." - Ren

"Yes my lord" - Yoroi

The reason why Ren wasn't afraid of Yoroi betraying him was that when he was waiting for the third stage of the exam to begin, Ren had asked if he could make other people vampires and All Existence told him.

『Once Hosts vampire blood concentration is higher you can make others into vampires and if Host's blood is stronger than theirs, Host will be granted control over their body and mind』

Even though Ren had control over Yoroi's body and mind they still felt detached and connected almost like Yoroi was a clone and not his own person, but whenever Ren wanted he could assume complete control over Yoroi. Once Ren learned Yoroi's technique to absorb chakra he realized it had the drawback of not being able to absorb chakra once it is turned into an element and couldn't be absorbed from a distance, but this was still great for Ren because he specialized in taijutsu.

"Yoroi you will continue to pretend to serve Orochimaru but you will report every action to me and if Orochimaru begins to act suspicious you will run away, also you have to always use transformation jutsu to look the same as before. Now go continue to act normal and do not reveal anything that happened here." - Ren

"I understand my lord" - Yoroi

Once Yoroi heard his orders he used transformation jutsu and then Ren left the area Yoroi was in and untransformed when he made sure no one was watching. Ren was also able to switch with his water clone without anyone noticing. Since there wasn't that much of a break between matches Ren ended up missing the fight between Zaku and Shino which went the same as the original except Shino was better at taijutsu from sparring with Ren and needed to use fewer bugs.

Ren did make it in time for the Misumi vs Kankuro and when he saw the fight he realized that Misumi knew the technique that would let you stretch your body like Orochimaru, so he took control of Yoroi and told him to try to learn the technique.
