After this match everyone got a month to prepare and recover for the finals of the chunin exam. Ren knew he could probably win the chunin exams even if he didn't train, but he still wouldn't waste a month and he wanted to make sure he would be safe during the Orochimaru attack. So Ren decided to look at his stats and see where he needed to improve.

Ren knew he needed to improve with the dark path if he wanted to increase dark chakra, but since he already had enough chakra he thought it wouldn't be necessary. His vitality greatly increased from becoming more vampire so he knew he wouldn't need to increase that either. The only thing he really needed to increase was chakra control and agility so that he could use his chakra owl aura better and the vampire claw fighting method mainly focused on his agility rather than strength. Ren knew that he also needed to get his own home and find a way out of the village so that he could get more points.

Ren decided that he would make an evolved version of water clones using blood so that it can stay in the village and pretend to be him while he sneaks out of the village. Ren did not want to waste the points of buying the technique because it should be easy to make, so he spent the whole day trying to making the technique and was eventually able to make it.

This jutsu was a lot stronger than the water clone jutsu because each clone had 20% of his strength instead of the 10% that a water clone has, and the blood clones could be a lot farther away from him than the water clone could be. Also, he tested how long the blood clone could last and it was a lot longer than water clones could, but it still wasn't long enough to last the whole month, so he went to sleep and decided to solve the problem in the morning. What Ren decided to do was tell All Existence to make the clone be able to last for the whole month and give it more durability, doing this cost him 2,000 points and now he had 16,460 points left.

After Ren knew the blood clone would last for the whole month and probably wouldn't be broken from anyone, he knew that he now needed a way to get out of the village. Ren knew that the Ketsuryūgan gave someone the ability to make their body much larger so he could definitely do the same with his ability to manipulate blood. After a few hours, he learned this could be achieved by expanding the blood in his body, so he did transformation jutsu and then used the blood transformation jutsu to make himself look bigger, he now had black hair with a few white hairs and looked like a middle-aged man who was just a normal citizen.

Once he looked bigger he spent 1,000 points for All Existence to teleport him outside of the village because he didn't want the ninja at the gate to notice they had never seen him before. Now that he was outside of the village he moved farther away from the village because All Existence teleported only a few meters away from the village. Now that Ren was a decent distance away from the village he didn't know where he was and decided that he would spend all his extra points in buying a map that would show the whole world, where he was currently, and anyone in a 50 meter radius around him. This only cost him 15,000 points and now he only had 1,640 leftovers, and he learned that he was nearing the border of the land of fire and land of how water.

After Ren learned where he was he decided that he would look for the valley of hell and find the Chinoike clan so that he could get the ketsuryugan to improve his ability to manipulate blood. Since he knew the valley of hell was probably near the land of lightning he snuck his way into the land of hot water, then he went near the border of it and the land of lightning and then began to search for the valley of hell.

It took Ren till the end of the week, but he had finally found the valley of hell. During this week he did not do any training but he absorbed any bugs, dirt he could, and any mineral he could find he turned into points. Now he changed how he looked so that he seemed as though he was part of the chinoike clan because he didn't think they were almost wiped out yet and should still exist. After he looked like a member of the chinoike clan he began to walk into the valley of hell and look around for any people. After walking around for ten minutes he saw a group of people with pale skin and dirty blonde hair and once they were near him they said.

"Do not attack, I am also a member of the Chinoike clan, but you probably have not seen me before because I am a member of the clan who had been able to survive outside the valley." - Ren
