Naruto thought to himself before nodding and saying to Lee ''Hey, thick brows, be careful around the red haired boy, he can use sand clones and sand armour'' the latter nodded as a fire of determination was shining on his eyes ''Thank you, Naruto!'' he said before going to the arena.

At the arena, Rock Lee and Gaara are facing each other with a serious expression, as Hayate said ''Begin!'' the boy with thick brows seemed to disappear form the spot as he appeared in front of Gaara, sending a kick, the kick, however, was blocked by Gaara sand shield.

Not satisfied, Lee increased his speed but to no avail as his attacks were all blocked ''Um! You're a worth opponent, it seems that I will need to remove my weights'' Lee said as he began to remove weights from his legs.

''Hmph, he think that by merely removing weight his speed will be enough to p-'' Temari said with a mocking tone before she suddenly stopped.

*BOOM* A small explosion was heard as the weight touched the ground, creating a huge amount of smoke, after it was cleared, everyone could see Lee but now covering his body was a green aura "'Gate Of Opening!", suddenly, he disappeared, Gaara seemed extremely wary of this because he couldn't keep up.

At this time, his kick finally managed to pass Gaara defense as it landed perfectly at the red haired boy face, sending him crashing into the wall, the latter seemed to have created something made of sand to make his crash softer, saving him.

It hit Gaara stomach, blood came out from the red haired boy mouth, this seemed to trigger something as his smile began to get wider as the time passed, his urges were interrupted as his enemy voice sounded ''I... *huff* give up'' Lee said with a tired voice, using the gate made him very tired.

After this fight, it was Tenten Mitsashi versus Kin Tsuchi, the brown haired girl managed to win with her incredible proficiency in using ninja tools, sucessfully trapping her enemy, that could only give up helplessly.

Then, it was Dosu versus Choji, the strange Otogakure genin won the match quite easily finally, Hayate said ''Now... for the last fight... Hyuuga Hinata versus Hyuuga Neji''

Both Hyuugas entered the arena as they looked at each other, Hinata thought 'Cousin... Naruto-kun is watching me and I need to prove myself worth of him.. so, sorry, I will beat you' as a fierce look appeared on her face.

'Damn... how unlucky of me to be place against that battle maniac' Neji thought to himself as he took a fighting stance, Hinata did the same.

The long haired boy then ran with great speed towards Hinata, shooting his palm forward, he tried to hit the purple haired girl, that dodged to the side and redirected the attack to the side while trying to hit him, without waiting, he stepped back while rotating himself ''Eight Trigrams Palm Revolving Heaven!'' he said in a low voice, a sphere of chakra appeared covering him while rotating, pushing Hinata away.

This managed to hurt her a bit as a thin line of blood was flowing from her small mouth, this angered her 'Bastard, you dare to harm me in front of Naruto-kun? You..' veins started to appear near her eyes as she activated her Byakugan ''Byakugan!''

Her vision got better as Hinata ran forward without caring, Neji, seeing this, was going to use Revolving Heaven again but before he could do so, two fingers hit him ''Eight Trigrams Hundred Twenty Eight Palms: Two''

''Four, eight, sixteen, thirty two, sixty four, hundred twenty eight!'' With each hit, her speed only seemed to increase as she began to say the number of palms, in no time, Neji was lying in the ground as his chakra pathway was blocked 'See? ''Winner of the last fight of the Preliminaries: Hinata Hyuuga!'' Hayate shouted as applauses were heard, it was a good fight in their opinions.

After Hinata went to the superior floor, Naruto got near her and asked, worry evident in his tone ''Hinata, are you alright? I know healing jutsu, want me to heal you?''

She was unable to answer as smoke came out from her head, Neji, that was being carried to the infirmary, saw this, his eyes widened 'There's no way this is the Battle Princess, no, this boy, Naruto Uzumaki, should be very strong to make her like this.. incredible' unknown to Naruto, the long haired boy began to admire him, in this life, Neji father is still alive, therefore, he isn't annoying as his other self were.
