All of the Genins nodded while Gaara had a evil smile on his face while thinking about his match against Sasuke, his evil thoughts were interrupted as the proctor said ''Very well, pay attention - This land is different but the rules are the same, a person will only be defeated if he's/she's dead or if he/she admit defeat. With that said, if I think that a combat ended, I can interfere at any moment, we won't accept complains, understood?'' Looking at their reactions, he continued

''The first match will be: Naruto Uzumaki verus Kankuro, these two stay while the rest will go to the waiting room.'' The six genins nodded and went to the waiting room.

At the spectators place, Kiba was sitting while hearing the neighboor seat person talking, it's two male ninjas, one had a white rope covering part of his nose and face while the other had brown hair covering his right eye, the man with the brown hair said ''This brat... Naruto, he was quite lucky at the preliminaries, however, as much as I don't like sand ninjas, this Kankuro is strong, the brat won't survive this''

''Indeed'' The man with the white rope only nodded, at the same time, Kiba was hearing them and thought in his mind 'This is what I thought at the start... I quite like your determination and as I don't want to kill you, you should just admit defeat...'' though this is what he said, he was thinking 'Winning this battle will be difficult... it will be good if he get intimidated and admit defeat'

However, Naruto isn't someone that would get intimidated by something like this so he just said ''Hm... I don't like you at all.'' as he said this, there was a faint breeze passing through everyone before the proctor said ''Very well... I announce that the first match officially started!''

Suddenly, a puppet appeared in front of Kankuro as he said ''I will return what you did to me some time ago'' and with a swoosh, the puppet ran forward, sending a punch to Naruto, that stepped to the side while kicking, however, Kankuro was prepared as his fingers moved slightly, blocking the attack and returning the kick.

Naruto was able to predict this attack easily but as his strength was being limited to Kankuro level, he couldn't dodge it, therefore, he crossed his arms to receive the attack, that sent him back a few meters, there was a small smile on his face as a sharp, white chakra covered the tip of his fingers ''Flying Thunder God Jutsu: Wind Cutter''

In what seemed to be teleport, Naruto appeared behind the puppet that was coming to the place he previously was in a orange flash, then, his hands shot downwards, cutting the puppet in half, the yellow haired boy thought 'This was fun... unfortunately for him, this will end right now'

A seemingly ordinary kunai was sent towards Kankuro, that only reacted to his beloved puppet being destroyed now and seeing the kunai coming his way, he smiled arrogantly while despising Naruto ''So... is this all that you can do? Honestly, you disappointed me''

However, what happened next shocked him.
