Kiyoshi whirled on the dragon that took him, immediately after they arrived at the dragons' domain, taking no time to admire the beauty surrounding him, "Why did you do that?" he snarled at the green dragon looming over him.

The dragon stared calmly at the demon-enhanced boy before speaking, "I will not talk to you while you're channeling Archion-sama's power, summoner."

Kiyoshi bristled, raising his sword, before snapping his head back as a small, quivering hand landed on his shoulder.

"Please, Taicho," Daiki whimpered, eyes scared and pleading.

It was then that Kiyoshi realized he was releasing a considerable amount of KI into the air around them. He took a deep, calming breath before stashing his sword back into his storage seal, and letting Archion's power get s.u.c.k.e.d back into him.

His eyes locked onto the glowing orange ones of the dragon in front of him, letting the reptilian creature watch as the gold receded, leaving his normal violet eyes with golden spots sprinkled in like stars in the night sky.

"Now, explain," he demanded once he felt all of the foreign chakra leave his system and travel back to the place it came from.

"It's simple summoner, if you stayed any longer, you would've been beaten. They are both powerful shinobi," he said, watching the redhead as he seethed, forcefully unclenching his tightly fisted hands.

"I had Archion's power," he hissed out through gritted teeth, "I could have won!"

The dragon solemnly shook his head, "even with Archion-sama's power, you wouldn't have been able to defeat them. You would have been forced to draw out more, which your body cannot handle at this age."

"I would have found a way!" Kiyoshi snarled, "a way that didn't involve leaving family behind!"

"Family, hm?" the dragon murmured, raising his head to look directly into Kiyoshi's eyes, "and what about the family you were fighting? Would you sacrifice one family member for another?"

Kiyoshi recoiled like he'd been slapped, "No!" he shouted, eyes wide, "I mean, I, I would have found a way!" he said, sounding frustrated as he repeated his earlier words, running an agitated hand through his hair.

The dragon exhaled through his nostrils, "you should go meet up with your kin hatchling, inform them of what has occurred on this unfortunate day."

Kiyoshi gave a defeated sigh, all his anger leaving him as the reality of the situation crashed down upon him. "Yea," he mumbled wearily, "we have to find a way to get Reiji out of that deathcamp," he sounded uncertain, resigned.

The great beast lowered his head, snout nudging the young boy gently, "chin up pup, no matter what, always know that the dragons will be behind you, now and forever."

Kiyoshi looked up, a small smile dancing on his lips, "Thank you, Kalseru."

Scene Change

Reiji groggily opened his eyes, snapping them shut immediately after as a blinding light flashed across his vision. He waited a few minutes, stretching his chakra out, relaxing after he felt nobody close by.

He carefully opened his eyes, letting the light filter through his lidded eyes, as he adjusted to the brightness. Once he was fully comfortable, he cautiously sat up, letting out a groan as his bones creaked and his sore muscles stretched and pulled. He felt lightheaded, swaying slightly as he carefully pushed himself into a standing position.

Reiji glanced around, gaze catching on a window and what laid outside of said window. A mountain loomed in the not-so-far distance, three stone faces carved delicately into it. He stood there dumbly as his foggy mind slowly processed all the information given to him. His eyes popped open, threatening to fall out of his sockets, and his face paled considerably.

His mind came up with only one logical reason why he was in an unknown place with none of his family there, considering the last known nin he saw was part of Leaf. It was a situation that he desperately wished he didn't even have to consider, but was seeming the most likely. When he saw a building that had the kanji for fire carved into it, the place was confirmed.

"Holy shit... I'm in Konoha."
