The journey to the nearest city was long but calm as Konan was good enough company for the moment as she listened to his exploits as a farmer.

He was sure she was fantasizing something else as she had that look in her eyes. Naruto could swear he saw hearts in those innocent eyes.

So he decided to do what any responsible a.d.u.l.t would, ignore it.

The duo arrived outside City Z and entered it as Konan guided him through a path that led to the old section.

It was the territory of the monster s in City Z; she was offering them as food for her lord.

Naruto was unaware of her crazy thoughts and wondered why the place was so quiet. He was mesmerized by the infrastructure and the various things he could see but the quietness made everything very scary.

"Where are the people?" Naruto asked as he walked around, passing buildings after buildings that were breaking apart. He could see blood stains, bones and smell something terrible as he walked along the path.

It was scaring him and making him look like monster to others.

Konan looked at his majestic face and was swooning over him, "Uzumaki-sama the humans are only half an hour from here. I thought that you might want to eat before we enter the human zone so we are in the monster zone of this city."

Naruto closed his eyes, 'This girl will end up getting me killed one day.'

"I am famished so let us go to the human zone." Naruto said in a calm manner while his body was shaking that Konan misunderstood as excitement

"As you wish"

While the duo was walking, the delicious smell of such high grade meat had attracted countless monsters.

The Monster Princess Super S was with Naruto but because of his scent her smell was covered up and the monsters didn't realize that there was a demon level member of the monster organization.

Even though Super S was just a low level demon rank monster, the difference between ranks was huge so anything below demon was just insects in front of her when she was in prime state.

These monsters were from the same area known as the Elroe Dungeon beneath this portion of the city, it was enormous and filled with large variety of monsters that fed on each other but once humans appeared they united.

Therefore the duo was surrounded by a large anaconda like snake with black scale and red eyes known as Elroe Baladorado. It was a tiger level threat with its huge size of 10 meters and its extreme poisonous abilities.

Following this gigantic beast was a large human size mantis known as Elroe Greshigard and it was a minor tiger threat. It was known for its speed and cutting ability.

There was also an Ogre type monster with red skin but the most dangerous of the bunch was the greater Taratect that was a giant spider of 5 meters with its scythe like legs and impressive poisonous abilities.

This beast had great hunting prowess with its durable and sticky webs plus many other skills such as acceleration, healing and herculean strength.

It was followed by its servants that were small versions of itself and were like an army of drones.

"I will take half, the rest is yours." The Greater Taratect spoke and none had the guts to say otherwise as they attacked

Naruto knew his life was going to end sooner or later but he never thought it would be this soon.

'I picked up misfortune on the way so I can't say anything else. Now how do I get this little girl out of here?' Naruto thought as even if he was afraid it didn't mean that he lost his morals and would let an innocent die

Konan was staring at the monsters with a smile, they were strong and would give her a challenge specially that spider but with Naruto she was not worried at all.

'Uzumaki-sama is shaking from excitement. I can witness such greatness.' Konan's eyes were shining with delight as she landed on the ground from Naruto's shoulder

"This human is quite large"

"Yeah, what did he eat to get this big?"

"Bigger the better for all of us"

"I want the girl. No need to share the male"

Konan felt her anger rise as these heathens dared to talk down to her Uzumaki-sama.

"Maggots, do you know not who this is? This is the one and only Lord Uzumaki. Bow down and surrender your lives to my lord." Konan declared like a fanatic as she presented Naruto in all his giant glory

He look so scary and strong but since these monsters were born in the city, they didn't have much knowledge of the past legends and didn't feel anything except a scary aura from him because of that face and eyes that were like the demon.

"He does look scary, maybe..."

"Scram, you coward. Getting scared of a human, big doesn't mean power for these humans so attack and we will see the greatness." The Greater Taratect commanded as he slapped the Mantis

Konan felt angry but also filled with joy as it was time for her lord to act and she waited with glee.

Naruto was feeling that the situation just went from bad to worse after her words but he couldn't do anything but try to fight or else she would die.

If she wasn't here, he might have already died from a heart attack but her presence gave him strength and he roared.

"DIE FILTHY DEMONS" Naruto screamed as to encourage himself and with his words the monsters were destroyed as their blood was splashed across the road and the buildings

"How majestic and powerful. Nothing less from My Lord." Konan said as she hugged his leg like fervent believer

'What just happened?' Naruto stared blankly as the situation didn't make sense and decided he will think about it later so he picked up Konan and ran towards the human side

On the other hand, a bald man was running towards the market for a late night sale.

Naruto finally arrived on the human side and was once again surprised as the people were just too small. The police had surrounded him as he looked really scary and they thought he was a monster, people on the streets had run away in fear.

"What just happened? Why are the people so small?"

"Uzumaki-sama has been gone for a long time so it is no surprise but humans became smaller as time passed on and arrived at this current size. Now they are smarter and much more talented but they lost their previous size and longevity."

"How long do they live?"

"Hmm, 60 to 100. I am 25." Konan replied with a happy smile as she was of use to her lord

Naruto took in the information and understand something, 'She is an a.d.u.l.t. I can get rid of her.'

"Monster seize your terror or I shall vanquish you for the sake of justice."

Naruto look towards the voice and saw a young man with brown armor riding a bicycle. It was everyone's favorite hero, Mumen rider.

"Kid, I am human. I just have big body, you can have someone check my blood if you want." Naruto said as he held his hands up

Mumen Rider stopped and looked at the large man, from his face to his body. There wasn't anything demonic about him except those eyes and that large body.

"Apologies, it seems we were mistaken." Mumen Rider apologized as he contacted the Hero organization about the mistake

Naruto looked at the kid and saw how fragile he was but still tried to fight him.

"Are you not scared of getting hurt or dying?"

"I am afraid but once I think of the people that are in anger, I can't stop myself from fighting for them. I am sorry of that sounded so cheesy."

"No, no, I am impressed with your spirit so good luck with your work." Naruto said as he patted his head

Mumen felt that large hand on his head and thought it could easily crush him, fortunately he wasn't an enemy.

"That was a low level hero, Uzumaki-sama. Do you want to see more?"

"Yeah"

"If you destroy around 100 miles then the strongest heroes will appear."

"I am good." Naruto thought he really shouldn't expect much from her and put her down

"Now why don't you go back home"

Konan looked at him and her expression fell, "Uzumaki-sama, are you abandoning me?"

"No, no, I think it's better for you to go home then live with homeless man."

"Am I that bad? Then let me just disappear." Konan said as she took out her dagger

Naruto held her arm, "Fine, you can come with me."

"Uzumaki-sama, I love you so much." Konan stuck to his arm like a Koala

Naruto ignored her words, even though he was very much flattered as such a beautiful girl confessed to him.

'I am homeless but I could probably live in the monster zone but there are monsters so disqualified. I need money and I am hungry.' Naruto mused as he walked the city and everyone stared at them as one was a giant pillar while the other was a treat for tired eyes

Naruto's eyes landed on the billboard promoting hero registration and mentioned earning money. He remembered the weak little kid and looked at his body.

'I am so ashamed.'

Naruto decided that he would go for hero work as he had such a large body and with some training he could beat some weak monsters.

Naruto didn't have any useful skill other than wilderness survival and farming, he had a strong stout body from genetics and daily work but that was only useful fighting so he had no other choice unless he wanted to beg for money.

Naruto didn't wait anymore and walked towards the branch of Hero association in the city where he could register after asking Konan.

He was lucky that Konan was not a registered monster or A rank heroes would have been on his a.s.s.

"Yes, how can I help you sir?" the staff at the reception shook in fear as he looked up at the man and then looked down quickly to save his soul

"I want to register as a hero."

"Of course sir, please enter that corridor and a staff member will guide you."

"Thank you, little one." Naruto said in a gentle tone but the man was still shaking after he left

'Man, humans are turning into monsters these days. I should ask for a vacation before I go crazy.'

Naruto arrived at the location and entered the room as many wannabe heroes ran away at the sight of him.

Inside the large room, there were many training equipment and at the front were two staff members sitting at the table with tabs and such.

The staff members looked at them and were not scared but excited as they thought he looked very strong and might be another A rank hero.

"Yes, can you introduce yourself and show us your capability."

"Naruto Uzumaki and I have a strong body so I wish to fight against monsters."

It was a very disappointing answer but they hoped that they would better results from practical tests.

"Ok, please follow us for some tests."

"Hold up, how you dare disrespect Uzumaki-sama with this drivel. All your S rank heroes are maggots in front of my lord.

So seize this foolishness and assign a special ranking for my lord before I tear you apart." Konan landed on the ground and spoke to the members with rage as she felt slighted by their attitude

"Who are you?"

"I am part of Uzumaki-sama, his eternal slave."

'Okay, they are into SM. Kinky'

"Hmm, okay. Let's test that out with this machine." The female member pointed towards one of the machines that could take a hit equal to 200 tonnes

"Pathetic" Konan muttered as she punched it lightly and the machine was sent flying out of the building

"Is this enough?"

The staff members had their jaw dropped and Naruto also felt his legs become jelly, 'I was carrying such a monster. Thank God, she didn't try to hug me harder or my bones would have cracked like biscuits.'

"More than enough but we can't give you S rank until you fight such a threat."

"What if I beat an S-rank?"

"That could work" the staff replied as they hid from that spiked whip in her hand, she was starting to look very scary

"Uzumaki-sama lets go beat some S-rank hero." Konan said as she smiled at Naruto

Naruto smiled awkwardly and couldn't deny her anymore, she was just too dangerous.

"Is everything alright?" a voice called out as someone landed from the hole

It was Genos, a new S-rank hero and his appearance brought a beautiful smile to Konan's face.
