Nero, My Existence Is Perfect

Chapter 22 - 21: A year and twenty days later.

Another year has passed. At that time, she spent most of her time in the cage if she wasn't suffering experiments.

Nera also managed to reflect on this past year and she swore to take revenge.

But for that, she knew she needed strength! But she needed to get out of her cage and back to her room. There she will have more freedom and then think of a plan to become stronger, just as her older sister was.

Thinking of her older sister Elsa and her parents. She couldn't help but cry.

After crying for more than three hours in a row. Nera managed to swallow the cry. She was still very young, it was inevitable that she missed her family.

While she was sitting on a bed in the corner of her cage, she thought, "I remember my sister Elsa, often sitting with her legs crossed with her eyes closed.

Nera started thinking about it. She imagined she had some purpose in doing something like this. She idolizes her older sister, so she imagined that she would not do it without a purpose.

Nera tied her long black hair into a ponytail with a piece of sheet that she pulled out. She then jumped long, steady sighs several times while sitting in a lotus position on the mattress.

No matter how much she did that, she didn't feel anything strange or different. But she didn't give up, she continued to persevere.

Without Nera's knowledge, she's been at it all afternoon.

"Number 0!"

Hearing someone call her, Nera stopped meditating. Opening his eyes, a different glow shone in his beautiful eyes.

"What is it, Devil?" She looked in the direction of the man with horns on his head when she asked.

This man with horns on his head looked strange at Nera, but said nothing in response, he just put up a plate of food and a glass of water, then left.

Nera put her eyebrows together since she didn't expect it was time for them to deliver the food. She had been in this place for four years, even without a watch, she knew what time they were bringing the food, but this time she didn't see the time go by.

"Does this have to do with what I was doing now?" She wondered.

After all, she wasn't sure if it was because of that, so she decided to test it later. She approached him and picked up a tray with a plate of soup and a glass of water.

Bringing it close to the bed, she sat down, placing the tray beside her, then she put the tray on her l.a.p and began to eat the soup that was summarized in some vegetables and small pieces of meat.

Even if it wasn't seasoned, at least it wasn't bad. Very quickly she ate everything and drank water. She always remembered her mother when she finished eating since her mother always told her to brush her teeth when she finished eating.

But here, she didn't have the luxury of brushing her teeth. She didn't run out of food because she preserved her life. Especially because dead would not be very useful for scientists who make experiments in this damn place.

Although she didn't have an extraordinary change in her body. It's not like nothing happened. Your vision got better and your hearing got better. She also took her time to get tired, along with her ability to regenerate.

But they didn't know she had that ability. She managed to hide it, thanks to her good friend Yui because when she learned that Nera had this ability, she told her to get hurt and not allow herself to heal so quickly when she got hurt.

Nera would suffer even more experiments if they found out she had something like this. Yui, although young, lived in the streets alone. So, I was more aware than Nera of how dangerous it would be the moment they found out about it.

Nero sat with his legs crossed again when she finished eating. Although she felt nothing different, apart from the time that passed faster, she still wanted to do it.

Unknown to her how much time had passed. She opened her eyes and felt her mind calm. She let out a long, heavy sigh as she opened her eyes. Feeling sleepy, she lay on the bed, then slept.

That was a different night from the others. This time, she didn't have nightmares. She even dreamed about the days she spent with her family. Unintentionally, her eyes became wet during her sleep.

"Mommy! Daddy! Big sister!"

She murmured, still asleep.

-

The next morning.

"Number 0, wake up!"

Nera woke up with one of the guards calling for her.

Even if, she had already told them to call her Nera, she did not understand why they insisted on calling her number 0.

Same old man with horns, he was in front of her. He was holding a tray and had a blood-red medicine and a glass of water on it.

Actually, this man was surprised that Nera was still alive. Many after her had already come here, but she was the first to live for so long.

"Swallow that medicine." Seeing as she woke up, he talked.

Nera rubbed her eyes and then she took the medicine and swallowed it, then she drank water.

The man didn't leave immediately. He stayed for 10 minutes. After I asked her to open her mouth and show if there was anything inside her... Seeing as she really swallowed it, he left.

"Nera closed her eyes with pain. She felt a burn all over her body because of that "medicine."

Nera knew she couldn't sleep again. She stretched out, then she returned to sitting on the bed in a lotus position.

20 days later.

Nera was sitting on the bed in a lotus position as usual.

Every time she did that, she felt at peace. She even forgot all her problems; it became a kind of comfort to her mind. But this time it was different than the other times.
