Chapter 20: Waiter

When Song Yan sat down, he looked around uncomfortably and then noticed that at the table next to theirs, a middle-aged man in a suit was hugging a young man in his early twenties, and the two of them were kissing each other in a passionate way while touching each other with desire.

The young man’s clothes were half-open and he was whimpering with pleasure from time to time, causing Song Yan to blush and glance at Xia Lin out of the corner of his eye, as if trying to find some empathetic comfort from him.

However, Xia Lin was already used to these scenes and said, “If you can’t watch it, don’t watch it, it’s not uncommon in Gay bars.”

Song Yan swallowed hard: “Xia Lin, you seem to know a lot about it…how come I haven’t heard you mention it before…”

“What are you talking about, it’s my first time here too, except I automatically changed one side of the filter being a woman.” Xia Lin blurted out without changing his face.

Although the three of them were young, they all had a decent air about them, and with Zhou Shuo standing back in a standard bodyguard stance, it immediately added a lot of momentum to them.

A sharp-eyed waiter soon came forward and asked them what they wanted to drink.

Xia Lin causally ordered two bottles of beer and sent the waiter away.

Song Yan is on the sidelines, “Why don’t you order something stronger? It’s rare for us to sneak out…”

It was not the first time he and Xia Lin had sneaked out to drink, so he felt that Xia Lin should be able to understand what he meant.

Xia Lin, however, was pondering in his mind that there was no idea what would happen to Yu Luotong’s side later, and if he gave Song Yan a strong drink, he would probably be stimulated and go on a rampage like a wild horse, and even he would not be able to stop him.

On the surface, he said in a serious manner, “It’s senior year, we have to be more restrained.”

Song Yan gave a dissatisfied “snort” and remarked that Xia Lin was becoming more and more old-fashioned now.

A short while later, the waiter came over with two bottles of beer, and behind him was someone else, and when Xia Lin looked at the person, it was Yu Luotong.

Because of the dim light in the corner, Yu Luotong squinted for a moment before revealing a surprised expression: “Song Yan, Xia Lin, is it really you? Oh, and Zhou Shuo, why are you all here?”

Song Yan was about to speak, but Xia Lin stepped in front of him and smiled, “We’re here to support you.”

Song Yan looked at Xia Lin and could only interject, “Right, right, we’re here to support you.”

An embarrassed look crossed Yu Luotong’s face and he laughed, “How did you guys know I was here? I don’t think I remember telling you guys…”

“Xia Lin guessed it,” Song Yan said, “although I don’t understand how he guessed it either.”

Yu Luotong then gave Xia Lin an extra look, his expression becoming slightly complicated.

Xia Lin knew that he had taken himself for a fellow traveller, and although in fact the two of them were indeed fellow travellers, it was definitely not what Yu Luotong had in mind.

Song Yan didn’t notice the subtle change that took place between these two people, his heart was still on Yu Luotong being taken advantage of by others just now. The scene is still haunting him, so he said whatever was on his mind: “Luotong, do you often get taken advantage of when you work here?”

This really embarrassed Yu Luotong, he blushed slightly and said sarcastically, “Just now…did you all see that just now?”

Xia Lin stepped on Song Yan’s foot helplessly, this guy who was overwhelmed by love, his IQ was now in arrears.
