A few years later…

[Announcer: Ladies and Gentleman! We are finally here, the grand opening of the Glory Alliance Supreme Arena as well as the final match to decide the champion for the 20th Season of the Professional League! I bet all of you has been very excited ever since the news came out, am I right?!]

As if to answer the announcer, the audience let out a loud scream that lasted for a few seconds. The seats were full and everyone came with their friends. Though most of the audience was made out of Blue Rain fans and Samsara fans, there are some fans of other teams too. On the front rows were the 18 other Professional Teams who had already been eliminated.

[Announcer: Indeed, you all are excited. Now, let me introduce myself. This is Yan Xu, your announcer for today's final between Blue Rain and Samsara. With me, we have special guests to accompany me for the match commentary. Please welcome, the former professional player, Chu Yunxiu and Xiao Shiqin!!]

Cheers exploded in the Supreme Arena and some Chu Yunxiu and Xiao Shiqin fans raised up their plates. Though it has been years since they're retired, their fans still kept them as a memento. When it was announced that Chu Yunxiu and Xiao Shiqin will be the invited guests to do the commentary, these fans took out their 'treasures' and went directly to buy the tickets for the finals.

[Chu Yunxiu: Hello everyone. I will be accompanying you guys for tonight's match. I will try my best in commentary so that everyone can understand what is happening.]

[Xiao Shiqin: Likewise. I will also try my best to explain the tactics to our dear audience.]

[Chu Yunxiu: Speaking of which, there were rumours that the Alliance had something special planned at the end of the Championship Match. Does Mr. Xiao know anything about that?]

[Xiao Shiqin: Hmm… unfortunately, even though I also heard that rumor, I am also in the dark. These rumors sparked from Zhou Zekai's interview with Dynamic News about him being the ambassador of Lucent Corps' Watch brand just a week ago. At the end of the interview, he was asked about who will win between Samsara and Blue Rain.]

[Chu Yunxiu: Yes, yes. It is that particular news that sparked a lot of rumors. Zhou Zekai had said that no matter who won, this year is bound to be special. For a man of little words, it was actually rare for him to say a full sentence like that so the viewers, especially his fans, but more attention to it.]

In the backstage, the players for Blue Rain and Samsara has already finished their preparation and is now ready to enter the stage. The staff in charge sends a message to the announcer, Yan Xu so that they could prepare themselves.

[Announcer Yan: I'm sure everyone heard of it. There were also rumours that this arena was built because of those plans. We will surely find out about it soon. But for now, how about we welcome our team for the final?! Blue Rain fans, are you ready?!]

The fans from Blue Rain's side let out an excited scream and began chanting to cheer for their team.

[Announcer Yan: What about Samsara?! Can I hear noises from Samsara's side?]

Team Samsara's scream filled the arena, beating the cheer from Blue Rain's fans. Not wanting to lose, Blue Rain fans cheered even harder.

[Announcer Yan: Then please welcome, Blue Rain players and Samsara players!!]

Cheers, screams and even horns sounded throughout the arena as the players from both teams entered the stage. The players waved toward their fans and sometimes would give them fan service which increased the intensity of their cheers.

As they got to their seats, Announcer Yan started to introduce the players and their class one by one. Then, he would ask Chu Yunxiu and Xiao Shiqin on their thoughts of the team's line up as well as the tactic behind it. Their conversation was fully broadcasted throughout the arena so the audience could hear every single word being said.

[Announcer Yan: Looks like the first player of the individual challenge is now ready. On Blue Rain's side, we have Hou Siying with his blade master, Troubling Rain. Miss Chu and Mr. Xiao had clashed with the first owner of Troubling Rain, Huang Shaotian. Then, Troubling Rain was passed down to Lu Hanwen before finally reaching the hand of Hou Siying just a year ago. What do you think of Hou Siying's performance after inheriting the account?]

[Xiao Shiqin: Player Hou is living up to the expectation as the owner of Troubling Rain. He is only 17 this year, and still, have more room for improvement. Surely in the next coming years, he will grow into a fine Blade Master.]

[Chu Yunxiu: Hou Siying debuted two years ago, and in just a year, he managed to earn the trust of his teammate. Even Lu Hanwen felt relieved to entrust Troubling Rain to him. In just a year, he brought Blue Rain to the finals. I believe that alone says that he is performing well.]

The player in question, Hou Siying is now seated before the PC inside the player booth. With him is one of the referees who now recites the basic rules of the individual match to him as he set up his own equipment.

"When you are ready, you may plug your card in," the referee said to Hou Siying.

Hou Siying didn't verbally answer and he just plugged his account card into the device and let the game load up as he logged into the dedicated server for the league tournament.

On the other player booth, the player for Samsara also finished his preparation and has already logged into the server. This player is named Zhong Chen, the current owner of Moon-Luring Forest, also a blade master.

The map for the individual challenge is randomized by the system. Throughout the year, Glory has developed tons of maps to be used for the professional league in order to increase the difficulty as well as to create a more competitive environment. In the end, there are now close to 20 maps for the league to use and some maps are hated by the players.

The system finally stopped the randomization and soon, the map is finally chosen.

[Announcer Yan: Truly unexpected! The map chosen for the individual challenge is the Mirror Plane!]

[Xiao Shiqin: The Mirror Plane is an open map with no place to hide. It is perfect for a quick match. It seems that there won't be many tactics involved in the individual challenge.]

The audience agreed with Xiao Shiqin's comment but that didn't diminish the cheers from the fans. The count down starts and finally, the first match of the final officially begins as two blade master's sword clashed with each other.

The atmosphere within the Supreme Arena erupted and the cheers reached into a whole new level. Luckily, the player booth is soundproofed so the players won't get distracted from the loud noises.

Meanwhile, in the underground parking lot of the Glory Alliance Supreme Arena, several vans with dark tinted glass came to a stop. The door to the van slid open and the people inside alighted the vehicle. This was none other than the ten people who were invited to the test a few years ago. They were then being escorted into the building by several bodyguards in black suits.

"I think that the alliance is overdoing it with the escort," the first to speak up was Yu Wenzhou as he took off his glasses and wiped the fog off it.

"They wanted to keep our identity secret, but didn't Zhou Zekai already spilled the beans about his involvement on the plan to announce the new system?" Huang Shaotian asked out loud. "Why is he here with us? He can just waltz straight through the main entrance and no one would really suspect the plan! It would make our sneaking in much easier with him being the distraction! Plus, he won't let the plan leak with how little he answers!"

"Because we need to do a final check on the equipment. So we can't have any delays. After all, the final match may end quickly or will last quite a while depending on the situation. Regardless, unless you want to make fun of yourself, then feel free to skip the final check-up," Zhang Jiale replied to Huang Shaotian's comment.

"Oh, Old Zhang, are you afraid that you might end up making fun of yourself?" Huang Shaotian shot Zhang Jiale a grin. "Don't worry. Even if you do, there is still me to steal the spotlight! So even if you made a blunder, no one will notice!"

"Are you sure you'll be the one to steal the spotlight? There will be two unspecialized class, don't you think those two will end up taking the spotlight?"

This time, the one who spoke was Ye Xiu. The sentence was said with a tone full of confidence that everyone except for his two apprentices would feel aggravated.

"Hmph! Old Ye! Whether or not you and your little apprentice will take the spotlight or me taking the spotlight, we'll know when we fight later!" Huang Shaotian retorted. "Speaking of which, where's Xiao Xuan and Xiao Huan? I don't see them…"

"They are probably already inside. Did you forget that their father is one of the people in charge of the project?" Zhang Xinjie answered the inquiry from Huang Shaotian.

"Ah, true. It's been two years since I saw them. Old Ye, did they grow up well? They've never slacked on their training, right? It'll be good to have revenge for that time during the system test!"

"How can you be so petty to plan revenge on a junior half your age?" Ye Xiu asked as he shook his head.

"Hey, hey, hey! That junior is your apprentice, ah! Someone you groomed must be taken seriously or else, it'll bite us hard from behind!"

At this, even Han Wenqing can't help but let a smile shows on his face. "Have you ever tried playing 2v2 against them?" Han Wenqing asked Huang Shaotian.

"No. Not yet. Why? Did you play against them on 2v2 already, Old Han? How was it? You didn't bully them too much, right?"

"Bully them? You could say that but… When you met them, you'll finally see the most annoying cleric ever…"

"Worser than Zhang Xinjie?"

Zhang Xinjie who heard his name being called turned to Huang Shaotian and with a serious expression, he mouthed one word. "Worse."
