New Emperor Of Ghouls

Chapter 33 - 33-Interrogation

Yan Zhong Yi lost track of time.

He didn't know how long he had been fighting for. Having to use his b.a.r.e hands to beat the monster to death, throw them in the air, impale the ones that took their place with his kagune. Waves and waves of monsters kept arriving at the battlefield aiming to kill him but none would ever see the light of day.

They came from every direction surrounding him on all four sides. If he had learnt anything from his past life, he knew not to stay in one place when facing immeasurable odds. Lucky for him, mobility was ghouls speciality.

He didn't know where they were coming from or how many were left, but more and more kept coming towards him. The blood from their corpses would be drained into the [Devourer of Gods] hovering above 10 metres above his head and were refined into level 1 blood pills.

The blood pills came in 10 levels. Each pill would require the blood of the equivalent cultivation stage. For example, the blood of a stage 1 would only be able to make level 1 blood pills that would help Ghouls to cultivate depending on their cultivation stage.

The blood of a stage 5 would only make level 5 blood pills. However, if he wanted stage 4 blood pills then they would make level 4 pills because an upper stage pill would equate to 10 lower stage pills, thanks to the concentration of spirit energy left in the blood. But, it wouldn't work the other way round.

It was one of the major sources of revenue for the royal family because it provided thrice the energy than just drinking blood. The highly sought after pills were welcomed everywhere, even non-ghouls bought it because of the energy is provided.

Unfortunately, he couldn't access higher than level 1 blood pills. He hoped that they would be able to access it and higher.

However, his unlimited supply of blood from the increasing kill count benefited him. With the help of the blood pills and fighting. He was able to breakthrough multiple times as well as consolidate his foundation through fighting and providing the required energy to do so.

He managed to break through to all the stage 3-9. It would've been faster if the spirit energy didn't also go to strengthen his body. He wasn't complaining though, his body became more powerful after his bloodline was purified resulting in more energy was needed to strengthen himself.

After Stage 3-9 he decide to not breakthrough no more because it could harm it. He was sure of his ability to skip levels. His strength was anything but monstrous coupled with his potential and resources becoming available to him. The legatee of the Sacred Ghoul empire was becoming a monster personified.

While he passionately fought against the abyss demon's puppets, the puppet master was regretting his decision to make the ant tire itself out.

'F.u.c.k f.u.c.k f.u.c.k, I messed up. Master will kill me' The abyss demon hadn't been paying attention to the strengthening of the Sacred Ghoul Legatee's strength. But when he did, he nearly shit himself.

The man before him was a part of a warrior race, and he just attacked one of them who was their leader.

Warrior races were races of people who love to fight. Their sadistic and brutal tendencies scare other races. But the one thing which makes them the most terrifying, is their ability to become stronger as the fight.

'I angered the king of a growing warrior race,' the abyss demon shivered in fear when he noticed the man was no longer on the battlefield.

His misunderstanding threw him off guard and his emotions messed with his ability to control the puppets as the entire battlefield froze allowing for a silhouette to disappear.

A bone chilling sensation crept up on the back of his neck when he noticed the beasts were heading directly towards him, which could only mean one thing when he gave them a single purpose.

He could feel it, the piercing gaze that promised death. The sturdy yet soft limb that wrapped around his small neck, the firm grip resting on his death holding him in place.

"Answer me truthfully and I will think out sparing your life",

The words of defiance he wanted to say, His statement of "I hail from an exalted race of demons! And my master will kill you" No longer seemed something to be proud of, in front of the king of a new warrior race. Just thinking about it made his blood run cold. So he could only nod his head in agreement.

The deep, stern voice of his captor promised death and worse if he didn't comply.

"What's your name?" The simple question.

'Shouldn't he be asking something more important like locations and stuff.' It wasn't how he pictured interrogations would go.

"My name is Al'minek!" The mention of a unique name like this, would have people bowing at my feet to please me, so I don't waste their pitiful lives. It showed the race he belonged to.

"How old are you?"

"123"

"Where are..."

Zhong Yi found out that he was still in his infant stage and was kicked out of his clan because he was turned out he couldn't wield his racial powers. His master found him huddled up in a city slum's alleyway and took care of him, nursed him to become his successor and awoke his powers.

The monster were from the surrounding regions. When he searched them, he would collect the monster into his dimensional pouch and would control them with h

Zhong Yi was guessing that Al'minek's master knew of his potential and found him out. To be able to put slave seals on so many monsters should be a special trait among abyss demons.

It sounded like something out of a fantasy story. The drive to prove himself and revenge for abandoning him.

"Now tell me the truth. What do you want with my daughter" He made sure to tighten his kagune around his neck to show he wasn't plating about.

"How could you not know? Her mother is the most sought after women in the heaven awaken world."
