New Emperor Of Ghouls

The entire pyramid produced an even brighter from the luminous magna flowing between the walls. It looked like a volcano was about to erupt from all the magma-like liquid flowing like water through it 

'Wow,' Zhong Yi eye's flickered with the same fascinated look he when he was a child. 

The pedestal in front of him began to glow. The light pulsated like a heartbeat. Each beat gathered more light making the light become more blinding as time passed.

The initial excitement passed and an unsure expression plastered itself onto his face. He could see the energy gathered was becoming more dense and compact, while still gathering more.

Yan Zhong Yi knew for sure ure that divine energy was more powerful than spirit energy and the speed it was gathering made it super dangerous. 

'Wait'

Suddenly, A mini explosion occurred at Pedestal sending the divine energy in every direction. The shockwaves  knocked Zhong Yi out of consciousness before a golden light passed through him and continued to the wall of the pyramid and passed through as if it wasn't there.

The dim light managing to highlight the 81 ghouls passing through.

General Cheng and the members of squad 2 was heading in the direction of the spire of dominion. 

Because they were maintaining high vigilance, General Cheng noticed a wave of light consuming everything in its path.

He didn't realise how fast the light  of gold was moving until it was just a few metres ahead of them.

 Cheng jianjun was about To call for a rapid retreat, when a soothing and relaxing sensation struck his body. He and the rest of the soldiers turned soft and their bodies slumped onto the ground.

Minutes passed Before they regained control of their bodies.

Instantly, General Cheng went to check the conditions of the soldiers. For a few, he had to slap the sense into them literally because their expressions were slightly disturbing.

"That felt amazing." Exclaimed a younger soldier. He has drool running down the side of his mouth poolĺand his eyes were slightly dazed.

The soldier froze as everyone laughed at him.

"Guys, am I the only one who feels…stronger?" Asked a soldier.

When the soldier mentioned it, everyone else took notice of the increase in strength to their bodies. The toughness of their bodies increased and spirit energy ran through their bodies at a faster rate, which could mean one thing.

"It was his majesty, wasn't it Master?." An Ming came to the side of the general.

"His majesty, is the only person I know who could turn a situation like this into a blessing."

"When is father coming back?" Asked Zhong Mei. She hadn't seen him for a whole day and couldn't help but worry. 

"Uncle Hong and Uncle Cheng went to go find his majesty." Reassured Jian Nan Nan. "Don't worry, he has such a cute daughter to come home to."

Zhong Mei beamed at the compliment. She was about to return the compliment, when she felt something approaching the village. It was moving very fast and was too big in size. 

She ran outside the room and looked towards the village entrance and saw the wave of golden light moving towards it.

It moved at fast speeds consuming the earth and sky, even the clouds turned golden colour once it passed. Only to turn to jt's boring white colour after a few seconds.

The village was normally bustling with activity. Everyone had things they had to do. However, they all stood still looking towards the village entrance at the golden wave.

Instead of panicking, they all had looks of anticipation and excitement.

Jian Nan Nan also went outside to see what the commotion was and made it outside it time to see the golden wave pass through the village, bringing with it the pleasant smell of nature with it. 

She was also hit by the wave and felt soothing shower wash over her. To her, it felt like she was given a new skin. Her body was no different from before but now she has the option to cultivate her body.

She and Jian Chen's cultivation would atagenate and their cultivation would slow down, but their fleshy body would become strong and so would continue to strengthen like any other ghoul 

It was just the soldiers and the villagers in the Sacred Ghoul Village who felt it. The soldiers on border duty felt it, the Ghouls in other villages felt iit. Everyone in and outside Haven city felt it. Even the the Linthos felt this physique upgrade 

They all knew who did it and were thankful and more loyal because of it. To them, it showed how much their emperor cared for their welfare and was willing to battle immeasurable odds to achieve it.

Every ghoul and Lintho knelt and prostrated themselves towards the general direction of his majesty

"Sect master, the spires are acting up," The hardened voice of a black cloaked man cut sharply through the silence of the hall. 

The hall was dimly lit from the natural light of the night sky creating a dark and mysterious ambience. Other than a black throne, the hall had no other decorations.

"Then it means master has arrived once more." Another voice responded from the other end of the hall. Unlike the hardened voice, this voice was young.

Both figures were clad in black cloaks covering their entire body. One of them was sitting on the black throne, while the other stood at the side like a loyal servant 

"Close down all assassin halls and get our agents to infiltrate every kingdom possible in the border regions. 

There must be at least one of our people amongst their higher ups. Lucky for them, they will have 7 hours to accomplish it."

"Yes master." Replied the older man before disappearing in a swirl of black wisps.

"it is almost upon us and Dark moon will be there to witness it in its entirety."
