" 7, where are the others?" A masked man walked into a dimly lit square room.

"2 and 3 are bringing the "spoils" back to the empire. 4, 5, 9, 11 and 12 are completing a contract and 6 and 8 are upstairs sparing." Replied 7 in a passive tone.

"Call the lovebirds from upstairs, I want them to with me for the "Contract" to deal with." Commanded Feng Chen

"The Legatee snapped?" While his voice was passive, Feng Chen had spent enough time with the man to know he was excited

"Yes he did, Soon we will be very busy."

"When will they get here?" Impatiently asked Dong Long.

"I Don't know, they said they will be here by now," Replied a confused Chun Li.

"This is why upstarts are unreliable."

"Dong long, I don't think it's a good idea to ridicule the A.S.SA.S.SINS were employing," warned Chun Li.

"How could I not doubt their abilities. They are fairly new on the scene and don't keep to the time they set up thems..." His words were cut short as a sharp blade was pressed against his neck drawing a drop of blood.

"Does this answer your questions." An alluring voice entered his ear.

The biting words Dong Long was ready to fire out froze within his throat as the blade pressed even stronger against it.

Chun Li watched on with fear painted across her hazel eyes. A cloaked figure appeared with her without her knowing behind her beloved with a weapon pointed at his neck.

The Long white hair of the assassin flowed down her back like a waterfall and a black mask covered the lower half of the female.

"It would be wise to refrain from such remarks within our presence, Legatee." Another voice cut through the silence.

Without noticing, another two cloaked individuals made their presence known.

One rested its back against the wall with both arms folded and a black mask covering the lower half of his face. His red eyes and white hair portrayed a stark contrast against the black cloak.

The other individual was the one who made their presence known. Like his comrades, he had a black cloak covering his tall frame from the neck.

"Could you remove your blade from my beloved's neck," A stare down ensued between the two females as Chun Li gathered the confidence to fight back.

A nod from Feng Chen made 6 move over to 8 in the corner of the room.

"You must be the assassins from Rosethorn," asked the Legatee masking the slight fear in his voice from being so close to death. Even though he would live, he was sure that he would lose his legatee status because of it.

From the amus.e.m.e.nt in the red eyes of 6 and 8, He failed miserably.

"I wonder what gave it away," Mockingly asked 8.

An elbow from 6 stopped him making the legatee from losing any more face than necessary.

"We received word about your problem and how you wanted it to be resolved," replied Feng Chen.

"Who doesn't know about it," muttered Dong Long as he looked back into the red eyes of the leader of the assassins before him.

"I want them dead, every single elder who deemed themselves worthy to sit within my court." Calmly requested The Legatee. "I will pay extra for every time you kill them, their player status will ensure they come back to life."

Feng Chen smirked underneath his mask at how everything was going to plan. "Such a request will cost you. A lot."

"I will pay as much as I have to, to make sure they are too scared to enter the heaven awaken world! I want them to fear for their lives in!" The conviction in his voice brought smiles to the assassins faces.

The meeting between the leader of Rosethorn and the Legatee of the Goldstar dynasty carried on for another 30 minutes. Information such as how many targets there were and where they were shared at the meeting and the meeting left with both parties satisfied with the arrangement.

The assassins of Rosethorn left with devious smiles hidden under their mask and the legatee of the Goldstar dynasty and his childhood sweetheart with satisfied grins on their faces. Unbeknownst to the couple, the entire thing was organised by the same people they had hired to kill their problem.

What followed the next day was the simultaneous death of 15 elders belonging to the Dong family. Carved into the flesh of their flesh was a Rosethorn showing.

To say the world was shocked was an understatement. The Dong family was amongst the top 100 most powerful and influential families in the players' home world. When their legatee became one of the first on the northern continent to upgrade the village into a town from his aggressive style, the families influence rose and continued to rise with it.

Now the elders of the family were all slaughtered in their sleep made many families scared, especially the ones with a legatee. Most reasoned a rival enemy hired them to kill of the elders, few saw how The Goldstar dynasty Legatee benefited from it and when the killings of the elders continued to happen, it cemented the view. However, they didn't dare voice it in fear their heads would be the next to go.

The Rosethorn Assassin order instantly became famous. They offered assassinations for everyone, even city lords. But the price of those, were astronomical and only powerful city lords and Legatees later on would be able to afford it.

The number of contracts coming in kept increasing to the point where they had to keep increasing the number of Ghouls in the Order.

The surge in gold coins ,from completed contracts, into the order allowed them to expand aggressively and have a complete makeover. Contract houses popped up within the regions bordering the nightmare forest.

Naturally, their continued expansion which showed no sounds of stopping attracted a fair amount of jealousy and envy from other underground guilds. The strength of the order deterred most from acting. However, a few fearless guilds were adamant on battling them for influence with slowed the expansion considerably.

In the end, Feng Chen ordered the expansion to resume at a snail-like pace because of the sheer amount of unwanted attention and had to lay low for a while. Nevertheless, the operation was a success and they grew to have hidden bases in 23 regions.

Not that they controlled anything in it, the influence of other organisations related to assassination was cut down ruthlessly and they were the only ones to be given requests specifically in those 23 regions.
