New Life Because I Saved Her

Before you start, this chapter is AFTER the entrance exam and a couple of other chapters. I wanted to post this chapter because when I post this chapter, it will be on Halloween. Please note that there will not be ANY foreshadowing of the next chapter specifically the next chapter of the Entrance Exam, more like a little bit of childhood chapter kinda thing. Enjoy!

The morning light was a lot brighter than it used to be; Ivy, groaning out of the bed which has been Lilith and hers for the past couple of months, was wake and tired. Her ears down and her eyelids didn't seem like they wanted to open. She felt strong hands around her waist as she could hear Lilith mumbling about not letting Ivy go until she woke up. Ivy smirked lightly before brushing Lilith's salmon hair gently.

"Wakie wakie little s.u.c.c.u.b.u.s," Ivy whispered gently, her hand slowly sliding down to Lilith's neck. Before she knew it, Lilith was already on top of her, pressing down on both of Ivy's wrists. Ivy grinned at seeing Lilith's reaction, she leaned up and gave a small kiss on the nose. "Morning."

Lilith pursed her lips as she let herself down softly between Ivy's bosom, she looked up at Ivy and smiled. "Morning Kitty, do you know what day it is?"

Ivy's brows furrowed, she was confused. It's October 31st, what was special about the 31st? She knew that demon activity usually rise ten folds but she never understood why; what was special about October the 31st?

Seeing Ivy's hesitation, Lilith wasn't too surprised that Ivy didn't know what Halloween was. She lifted her head up and moved closer towards Ivy's face, she smirked before giving a small kiss against the lips. One of these days, that kiss would be a passionate and romantic kiss, if only Ivy would make up her mind about who she loves.

"Well, for starters, Halloween is a time where all the scary and spooky spirits come out, scaring the little boys and girls, teens and possibly a.d.u.l.ts I guess," Lilith shrugged at the last statement. "It's where people go to door to door saying 'Trick or Treat', most of the time, it usually a treat for the kids like candy and stuff. But there are those who do trick the Trick or Treaters and---"

"I'm sorry, Trick or Treaters? The hell?" Ivy questioned the nickname that these people would give. Trick or Treaters? What kind of name is that?

Lilith placed her pointer finger in Ivy's mouth, shushing her. "As I was saying, Halloween is a spooky time. And very dangerous. For us demons, we call it the Night of Death as many demons disguise themselves and lure kids into a false sense of state of comfort before being kill, used as s.e.x toys or sacrifices. Oh, also a lot of monsters tend to destroy villages because of the fear produce in humans. You know all about how demons and monster work similarly."

Ivy agreed as she understood the basics of this Halloween, no wonder she gets into a lot of fights with demons and monsters on this day. Pain in her b.u.t.t.

"Good! And we demons get like a small power boost so I can probably hold my own in a fight with you Kitty," Lilith mentioned before pulling her finger back. She was grinning like a little puppy, her imp tail wagging happily.

"Wanna bet?" Ivy smirk a little to mischievously.

"Like hell, I'm not fighting you at all," Lilith stated proudly, she sat herself up before feeling Ivy's cold mechanical hands slid underneath her shirt before she pulled Lilith back down. Face to face.

"What about a fight in bed?" Ivy whispered softly, her voice was filled with l.u.s.t as she could see Lilith's face turning into a tomato. She giggled loudly as she cuddled with Lilith.

"N-no fair!" Lilith squirmed underneath Ivy's strength, she wasn't going to have a chance of getting out of her grasps. She pouted as her tail went undercover, slowly sneaking up on Ivy's tail. Her tail poked at Ivy's tail in the middle, no reaction, then she slowly wrapped her tail around Ivy's and with a mischievous smirk: she made her wrapped tail move up and down on Ivy's tail.

Ivy gritted her teeth as she tried not to let a m.o.a.n out but Lilith was being a naughty girl, teasing her weakest spot and mocking her with her naughty expression staring happily at her.

Throughout the day, it was pretty simple and calm. A lot of Hunters were at the academy under surveillance while there were other students talking about going to these places call 'Haunted Houses', Ivy wasn't going to lie and say she wasn't interesting in these things however in the end, she found them kinda dumb.

It was 1800, the sun was slowly going down as its rays were barely over the horizon. The sky was somewhat cloudy, there were still stars to be seen but not that many to be seen. Ivy and Lilith were walking back to the palace, nothing off was going on and it seemed everything was fine. Ivy could see many young children running around with costumes of TV shows or famous heros from movies. They carried bigs bags that held small pieces of candy, they wore masks and fake weapons on their sides.

"See how much joy there is in the air Kitty?" Lilith pointed out. She observed how Ivy was taking Halloween, the whole kingdom of Lumina was covered in fake spiders, blood, small little graveyards, and skeletons. Lilith found it fun to roam the streets of towns like these, they were always something to enjoy for herself.

Ivy nodded, she was surprised that the whole kingdom would celebrate a day like this. The happiness that the kids were producing, they weren't scared of the fake spiders or graveyards. They didn't seem like they were scared.

Lilith nudged Ivy on the shoulder, smirking, "Why don't we have a small Halloween party?"

"A...party?" Ivy questioned. Lilith g.r.o.a.n.e.d as she couldn't believe that Ivy didn't know what a party was, wait does she even though her birthday?

The question started to bug Lilith and when she couldn't take it anymore, she asked Ivy, "Um...do you know when your birthday is?"

Ivy stopped walking as she stared at Lilith was questioning eyes, a...birthday? Ivy didn't understand the concept of this birthday Lilith was talking about but someone else did. Omega popped beside Ivy, its tiny body resting on Ivy's shoulder.

"She doesn't know what a birthday is however if you want to know, it's today. October 31st," Omega announced as it smirked lightly. It's gray-ish color bright in the dim streets.

"Seriously?! Come on let's go!" Lilith immediately grabbed Ivy's wrist as she was pulled along. Ivy stumbles at the sudden force Lilith grabs her.

"Where are we going?!" Ivy's voice raised high enough for Lilith to hear.

Lilith looked back and grinned happily. "To celebrate your birthday silly. Everyone needs to at least celebrate their birthday once in their life."

Lilith continued to drag on Ivy's hand but all she felt was Ivy's weight, she looked over her shoulder to see Ivy cry a little. Lilith let go of Ivy's hand and stood over her, holding her close. She could hear Ivy trying to not weep or cry but she could feel the teardrops falling.

"Y-You're too kind Lilith...why?" Ivy cried.

"Because I love you, come on now," Lilith replied softly, they were lucky that they were very close to the palace and no one seemed to notice that two girls at all. "I don't think Ruby would let to see that I made you cry, let's go home."

Ivy nodded slowly as she hugged Lilith tightly, it was the first time that Lilith saw Ivy's weakness. Her emotions never shows but when they do, they're so locked up that when they break free, it something that breaks Ivy. She wants to show emotion but she different than most, her body is actively hunting her emotions.

It's the same with Lilith, her human emotion don't exist, they don't try to release themselves. 'Poor Kitty, how long did you have to suffer from him? I wish I could have comfort you sooner.'
