New Waves

Chapter 17 - 21

Going on dates seems really fun. That was Jaegu's assessment. He only had second hand information about these relationsh.i.p.s and this was his first time.

It was something he always wanted to do since it would lead to his marriage life and then kids, and then training successors.

So it was a very important stage of life.

Many people talked about it like it was the best thing in the world, love and romance bring color to your life and such.

Now Jaegu didn't really get that feeling since he felt like hanging out with a girl friend but maybe he will understand in the future as they interact more.

It was better or different than hanging out with the guys since it was with his first girlfriend, a beautiful girl.

Something he won't share with the guys back home.

Just like everything romance had also its bad parts. He had seen and heard many disastrous scenes. Ives were ruined and even snuffed out because of the matters of the heart.

In the ninja world monogamy wasn't a thing and many times marriage wasn't a thing either. Ninja were strong and such qualities would attract females from the normal world.

Even from the female ninja side, if you were strong more of them will join you. They didn't mind sharing and such.

Jaegu had seen relationsh.i.p.s build and burn, and many people had also warned him and told him to stay single.

Enjoy life, drill the bitches and just chill.

'I still prefer having a proper relationship than such a pointless bond.' Jaegu thought as he looked at the matching key chain they bought

It was a fun day and he wished things would only get better.

The future was unknown but he will hold tight and never let it spiral out of control. There was only one path he wanted and he was going to get it.

The top of the Murim where power to step into the ninja world can exist.

With such thoughts, Jaegu remembered that most of his friends and family would have died with him. When he will get back it might be a wasteland.

The memories and conclusions brought by it were gut-ranching but Jaegu had built up resistance and grown from the experience.

Looking away from reality would only make things worse as he might miss some vital information and build up wrong expectations.

Jaegu had questioned how he got here and made some conclusions from what he remembered. His body had passed through a portal created by Minato.

The portal would send the attack far away but the barrage of attack was too much for them and Jaegu's dead body passed through it.

With so much wild chakra in the atmosphere, the jutsu must have malfunctioned and caused him to arrive in this world.

The original body should have been destroyed in the process and his soul entered Sun Mi's body when she was pregnant.

To him this was what happened until someone tells him another answer.

-----------------

"Welcome and thank you for coming" Shi Woon said as he stood outside the gate of his house

Jaegu had given him a call that he was coming before walking to his place.

Looking at him Jaegu could tell his body was good healing from damage as he couldn't see the dark spots from morning.

"No problem, I just want to make friends and this is something that can help us both." Jaegu said as he shook his hands and Shi Woon hugged him

"Right, I was also thinking like that. Let's go, I hope you don't mind if my friends are present."

Jaegu shook his head and they entered through the gate to see a wonderful house filled with class and finesse.

It was the most attractive house he had seen in this modern world yet.

They had guard dogs on the side but with one look they didn't dare bark at him.

"I was going to apologize for the dogs but it seems they are acting welcoming today or they like you." Shi Woon said with a chuckle but inside things were starting to move

He was the student of a dangerous man. Master Han never told him the identity but warned him that people will kill him if they knew about it.

Cautiousness was the game since that day and Shi Woon was a very perceptive person when he was trying so things didn't miss his eyes easily.

The dogs will always bark whenever a new comer arrives so there was no way it was normal.

There was something weird about Jaegu and most likely he was someone from the Murim.

'Is he after me or is he actually just a nice guy?'

"Animals have good instincts so they already accepted me as their superior."

"What?" Shi Woon didn't expect such an answer and looked at him

Jaegu smiled, "I have fought wild animals before and my stance shows that they will suffer if they attack."

"Do you hate animals?"

"No way, I actually like animals."

"Man, this is such an unusual conversation. Let's just get inside." Shi Woon shook his head and they walked inside the house

Jaegu took in the sight carefully and walked downstairs to the gym where three guys and a girl were present.

The dog thing wasn't on purpose as he was still new to the wild cultivation method so the aura was sticking to him.

People that were s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e would notice it immediately.

"Jaegu these are my closest friends and my girlfriend Sae Hee. We have been training together since last week." Shi Woon said as he walked towards Sae Hee

They already expected him and analyzed him since they were told he was strong.

"My name is Sung Jin Woo and I am his best friend and care taker. I am looking forward to sparring with you since Shi Woon was impressed by your strength."

"Un Wol here, we are friendly peeps so you can chill and relax with us from now on."

"Rohit"

Sae Hee nodded to him as he took them in. They were all positive looking guys and seem to have been in fights.

He could see traces of damage on their bodies except for Sae Hee.

"You are training for fights, are there people bullying you? If you need help I can get someone to handle it."

"No no, we are clear from bullying. These are war trophies from beating the bullies at the school. We are building up strength and experience so such things don't happen in our area anymore. I can't allow such injustice to go on when I have the power to make a change."

Jaegu was surprised at those words as he hadn't expected Shi Woon to be so passionate. These words itself reminded him of Naruto and himself.

He was also the type person to go out of his way to help other when an opportunity arose.

There were times he put his life on the line for such things.

"I understand and I will help you out but remember this one thing, you will never be able to beat me in a fight so this will be more of a one sided beating. I just hope that it doesn't demoralize you."

Jinwoo looked at Jaegu and smiled as he turned to Shi Woon, "We aren't weak minded people so fight without any concerns."

"Good"

Jaegu changed his clothes and sparred all of them after stretching his body. Just like he said, it was a one sided fight.

Today they learned what a real fighter looked like instead of those street fighters and found how weak they truly were.

Jaegu had expected something more from Shi Woon but the boy knew less martial art than Jinwoo and Un Wol. The only thing that stood out was his instinct and stamina.

It was really a lot like the young Naruto who was just starting on his path of fighting.

There was also his Ki reserve that stood out. Shi Woon had yet to tap into them but his body had already built up Ki somehow.

Jaegu could see that there was more to Shi Woon than expected and even the boy was unaware of such things.

His girl and best friend were very careful around him like something was wrong.

It reminded of the Kurama clan girl that had mental trauma. That was the feeling he got especially since Shi Woon's personality was a mess.

He was a nice guy but when he got hurt and felt pain, Jaegu could see rage and excitement in him. Shi Woon didn't look like person that enjoyed fighting but he gave of that feeling after getting hurt.

'He is repressing something from the past.' Jaegu concluded, it wasn't the first time dealing with such people

Regardless of Shi Woon's problem, Jaegu enjoyed the time with these people and it was a start of a good friendship.

Jaegu hadn't seen his parents and was told they were usually late or not at home but when leaving at 10. 30 P.M the father made his appearance.

The man was not normal like he had expected.

"Who sent you?"

"I am working under Charles." Jaegu answered honestly as it wasn't a secret, he was already registered in the Murim association.

Looking at the large man in a suit wearing glasses with a classy look, Jaegu could tell his body was well trained and he was someone below Leena but above his current self.

"Charles Wilde, I see. I have no problem with your presence but don't mess with my son and his body. Understood!"

"I never had such intentions, we are just sparring partners."

"Keep it that way and thanks for helping him." The man showed a gentle smile and patted his back before walking back inside leaving Jaegu in the street

'Just like I expected, more than what meets the eye.' Jaegu thought as he walked towards his house
