The Ki awakening wasn't hard for Lee as he was someone that was used to meditating when needed and had prior experience using energy.

Sitting on the floor, Song took in the pictures around him and focused on the rising dragon.

Taking in the aroma inside of his body and reading the phrases recorded in the scroll while making the signs with his hands, Lee felt something stir inside his body.

It had taken some time but he finally felt it and focused on it, slowly energy appeared inside his body at the speed of a drop per second.

The energy gave him the same feeling as chakra and it followed the same track as it flowed inside of his body from his abdomen.

The difference was that chakra was a mixture of spiritual and life energy, and it was inborn. You were born with it and there was no special technique required while Ki needed outside help for awakening and it felt different.

Unlike his previous calm spirited chakra, his Ki felt like a wild animal. It had a specific nature to it that was suited for specific fighting styles.

It was free spirited with a hint of playfulness and cruelty hidden underneath just like an animal.

Luckily it didn't clash with his personality or style, something Charles must have taken into account.

Understanding how it worked without a problem, Jae Gu pushed forward and let the Ki make rotation inside his body.

The outside Ki would help his body's cells breathe and make their own Ki, and the movement inside the body through each part would make his body get used to the new energy.

Every rotation would strengthen his body as the pieces would breathe in new life.

With this energy, Lee had finally breathed a sigh of relief as he was about to enter his natural habitat. The fighting moves of his original style that had been thrown aside can now return back with vengeance and he will make the world know the name Might Guy.

Lee was used to having low chakra so it didn't matter how much Ki he ended up developing as even a small amount will allow his rebirth.

'Charles called it the martial way so the Ki fighting concentrates on martial arts. I am curious what kind of techniques do they have.'

Lee was really interested in improving the fighting style as Hard Fist was a mixture of karate, Taekwondo, Muay Thai and grappling.

It hadn't taken everything from them and mixed them well, and made its own moves but because it was a new style there were many weaknesses that he noticed.

These weaknesses were being filled by the superior stats that they possessed and the eight gates.

He had realized that his fighting style could never actually achieve victory as it lacked a punch and had too many restrictions.

Unlike the Gentle fist, the Strong Fist focused on strength of the user to crush the enemy. They utilized chakra to make their bodies grow by going through inhumane training regime because Lee couldn't do ninjutsu or genjutsu.

Even if he could use it, he would have been just average so this style gave him the taste of being above many people.

But now that he was thinking right, he could see the flaws. There was no victory condition using the old style.

It depended on strength and that was something with limited use.

During the war he had seen how people weaker than him had contributed but he wouldn't have been able to do anything.

Naruto had become so powerful that his fists could never reach him unless he was willing to die for it.

Unlike the Strong Fist, Gentle Fist allowed weak fighters to defeat strong foes.

Lee had never defeated Neji even once and died without winning because Gentle fist cancelled his powers completely.

Base form Lee wasn't enough for Neji and the gentle fist closed his chakra points so he could never open the gates.

The only time he might have won was when Neji hadn't known about it.

Regardless, it showed the use of Gentle Fist and its superiority as a fighting style.

Just Like he had said to Moon Young, it was better to adapt when you have hit the limits.

So Lee had decided even before receiving Ki that if he ever got his powers back, he would adapt and make his fighting style go through an evolution.

His master had brought the Strong Fist to this point, now it was his time to make it grow further and fulfill his duty as the student.

But this requires careful study as he had already added in the normal moves, now he needed something special to make his fighting style special.

Without the eight gates his fighting style was crippled.

Finishing up his thoughts, Jae Gu stood up and left the room to see Charles meditating just outside. Now he could feel the energy around the man and it made him feel like a child.

Charles was a tree while he was just a leaf.

Jae Gu didn't want to disturb him but the man stood up and got extremely excited hearing his progress. It was expected since Ki training takes longer and he had broken all records.

Charles smiled like he had gotten the best gift ever before collecting himself.

"Song Jae Gu, you have exceeded my expectations and for that I will try my best to help on this path. But for today just continue with the exercise so your body can get used to it.

Tomorrow we will have spars and I will show how to use Ki, even some special moves that we possesses. Each clan has its speciality but old times have passed us by and people adapt so clans exchange moves and such so I have some data on other fighting styles as well.

Some are completed moves but most of it is just data according to my insight and those from the Wild Guards.

Normal people are also very creative so you should try seeing their fighting games or such to get ideas." Charles advised as he patted his back and led him inside

"Thank for your support, I will check it out." Jae Gu replied as he entered the room once again and meditated while circulating his Ki inside the body

Bit by bit it was increasing and using up the resources inside the room, and Jae Gu's own stamina.

Ki was life energy itself and everything in the natural world possessed it to some degree. Ki inside the body was formed from the physical strength, food, life force and training style.

There were methods to get the same power up of the eight gates by burning up the life force. This was much worse since pain was the last thing to worry about as burning life force meant shortening your very life.

This was considered a suicide move but every fighter knew it so that they could make a last stand or escape with at least some life.

Two more hours passed by and Jae Gu was starving, the energy inside the room had been absorbed by him and his body couldn't supply him anymore without damaging itself.

The Ki inside of him had become bigger but it was like a cup of water that was flowing inside.

Circulating didn't have any real cost except his focus, it was the fact that he was increasing it that he was tired and hungry.

The body wasn't used to circulating it normally for most people but Jae Gu didn't have that problem since he clearly remembered this feeling.

Ki flowed smoothly like it had been there from the beginning and he could already enhance part of his body.

It was too small so he could do it only once for his hand for a moment.

He knew this because of his test on his finger.

With that the training was done and Jae Gu exited the room. Charles had left but Lee Na was waiting for him.

They were doing their daily training and Lee Na was sparring with her team.

Seeing him come out, she stopped and cleared her sweat before guiding him to his new home.

It was his requirement. He wanted the Song Family to live happily and with comfort.

The old neighborhood was gone and now he was entering a place where only the rich people could afford.

It wasn't some huge mansion but a small two storey house with a small lawn at the front. It had one living room, one kitchen, one dining room and four bedrooms.

It also had a garage so Lee Na parked the car inside.

"This is your new house and car, everything has been arranged and everything has been put under your mother's name. Master has also arranged for a job for your mother so that it won't seem suspicious but first she will be going through some training for the job.

Your account has been made and the money would be sent every month, and if you have done a task then after the completion.

Do you have any question?"

"No, I am satisfied with this arrangement so convey my thanks to Master Charles. Also thank you for your hard work." Jae Gu looked at the surroundings and was very happy

Turning to Lee Na he conveyed his appreciation and saw her off as she took a seat in the car that had followed them.

Jae Gu looked at the White Hyundai Grandeur for a moment before putting the key in his pocket and entering the house.

Inside the Kitchen he found his mother Sun Mi with the food ready for consumption as she had been informed of his arrival.

"Jae Gu, explain?" Sun Mi hugged him as he came inside

She had been worried and confused the whole day.

Some beautiful woman came and told them that Jae Gu was now under their special program, and because of it they were assigned a new house and everything.

She agreed because she didn't want trouble as they looked really rich and powerful, deciding to wait for the kid to make these worries go away.

"Hehe, mom, I am working for the school now. I am part of the Wild Guards so now you don't have to worry about anything and relax. We are going to live happily from now on and my employer has also decided to train you for a better job." Jae Gu explained in an excited tone as he picked up the smaller woman and spun her around

"Put me down first…you and your muscles are going to be the death of me." Sun Mi muttered with a smile as she massaged his sides

She didn't question how he was chosen as Sun Mi was aware how special her little child was. He was a born fighter that was meant to walk this path.

"Are you sure?" But she was unsure about this organization, even if they were about to hit rich it could be temporary and suffering might be permanent.

"Don't worry, I know what I am doing and if I see any trouble I will leave." Jae Gu said calmly to make her relax as this was something normal

Wild Guards were involved in dangerous incidents, it wasn't some normal job.

"Big Brother" They were surprised attacked by two cute little monsters called Song Jae Hyung and Song Jae Som
