Xiao Mohan strode in with huge steps. He stood there and glanced at the seats. However, Gu Chuyan was nowhere to be found. He frowned immediately. Could she have gone home?
“Where is Gu Chuyan?” He turned and glared coldly at the professor. His voice was stern.
“Gu-Gu Chuyan?” The professor was shocked.
This man was dressed lavishly and he moved elegantly. He didn’t dare to look into the man’s eyes. The professor thought this must be a wealthy man.
“S-she quit this morning,” the professor said.
Xiao Mohan’s gaze turned eerie instantly. Han Changqing walked forward and pulled the professor over. He flung his hand and asked seriously, “Quit school? Explain.”
“Yes, she didn’t want to study anymore.”
“Ask the principal to come and see me.” Xiao Mohan didn’t believe the professor.
He had only known Gu Chuyan for a few days but he understood this lady’s personality. She would never quit school on her own. The school owed him an explanation.
“Alright.” Han Changqing made a call. The principal rushed over in a rush in the rain without even bringing an umbrella. There were many professors behind him.
“May I ask who you are?”
“I want to see Gu Chuyan,” Xiao Mohan said in a cold voice.
He stood there and his body tilted slightly. His footsteps were heavy and his aura was noble and calm. His sharp and angular features were filled with displeasure as he moved his lips slightly. “Where is Gu Chuyan?”
“She-she quit school,” The principal felt his knees going weak.
Han Changqing charged forward and grabbed the principal. He lifted him up. “Why did she quit?”
“She was expelled,” one of the students replied.
“Expelled?” Han Changqing threw the principal down and stepped on him forcefully. He asked, “Tell me—why was she expelled? Where is she?”
“Pfft.” The principal’s stomach was full when he got stepped on. Thus, when he was planning to speak, he farted. The atmosphere turned even more awkward now.
“Ah Qing, destroy the school.” Xiao Mohan was obviously infuriated.
His woman came to school and got expelled? This was a slap to the Xiao family’s dignity. If he didn’t punish this bunch of b*stards, he would change his surname!
Xiao Mohan’s cell phone was connected to the Xiao family chamber’s system. He checked and knew that she hadn’t returned home.
Her figure wasn’t found on any of the surveillance cameras along the way. So, she must still be at school.
“What you’re doing is against the law.” A professor opened his mouth.
Han Changqing turned and punched the professor.
One of the professor’s front teeth flew out from the impact. Han Changqing’s gaze was malicious. “You have no right to speak.”
“Ah Qing, do a thorough search of the area,” Xiao Mohan said in a low tone.
“Yes,” Han Changqing replied respectfully. He turned and continued to make calls.
The entire school was in a state of panic. No one knew what was happening. They just saw a few bodyguards in black dashing in and surrounding the school. Not a fly could enter.
“Search the area. You must find her,” Xiao Mohan said.
“Master, umbrella.” Han Changqing hurriedly chased after Xiao Mohan when he saw Xiao Mohan leaving and walking in the rain.
Xiao Mohan stopped in his tracks. He turned and looked at the principal. “Watch him. If anything happens to her, destroy him.”
“Yes.” Han Changqing knew that his master was furious.
Gu Chuyan got expelled from school and she couldn’t be found on the surveillance footage. She was obviously still at school! As the person in charge of the entire school, the principal needed to be responsible for this matter.
All the students were quarantined. They were clueless. Everyone was “invited” to “drink tea”. They searched the entire area but no signs of Gu Chuyan were found.
This was the first time Han Changqing saw Xiao Mohan so anxious. He looked like a lion out of control. He was running around the school and checking all the corners.
