Not Like In The Movies

Listening to the voice alone immediately changed ZhenZhu's mood. She didn't say a word and only decided to ignore after seeing the person who she had expected to be.

Fei Shuang's eyes shone as she saw Doctor Xiao. Finally, someone came to the rescue.

"Hi Doctor Xiao, we're heading home. Our car broke a few minutes ago."

"That's bad, i can give you two a ride.. if you want."

ZhenZhu clearly wanted to refuse but was pinched by Fei Shuang, giving her a signal to keep quiet.

"Ah right, Doctor Xiao is so kind."

Sitting at the backseat, Fei Shuang looked out her window at the world in the car as they pass by. A few large white clouds move in the pale, washed out blue of the sky. The road seemed empty, saved for two or three cars that race by, and buildings line it side by side. It was still morning so Fei Shuang thought that explains the emptiness of the road.

It's being minutes since Doctor Xiao picked them up and only a few words were spoken. Doctor Xiao spoke a bit to know about the address and focused his gaze on the road while ZhenZhu kept shut and only c.a.r.e.s.sed Angel while he slept. Fei Shuang finds the situation so boring and decides to listen to music but couldn't find her earpiece.

'Oh shit! I forgot it under my pillow.'

Fei Shuang couldn't help but curse in her mind. Now what should she do? Play games? Pfff, grew tired of playing them at the hospital already. Chat on social media? Tsk,so many gossips and her fingers hurt, not in the mood at the moment.

"...huhh" She let out a deep sigh as she pressed the power button on her phone.

Hearing her deep sigh, Doctor Xiao commented, "You're going to create a whole in the car with your sigh. What's wrong Miss Fei, are you alright?"

"I'm fine,just bored at the moment. Ah right Doctor Xiao, have you heard of the new Cook Genius on tv?" Fei Shuang asked as her eyes suddenly sparkles.

"Tsk, Of course he hasn't girlfriend. Doctor Xiao is so busy with work and doesn't have time for such lousy things." ZhenZhu who was silent all this time suddenly chipped in, refuting what Fei Shuang said in an obviously mockery manner towards Doctor Xiao.

Doctor Xiao raised his eyes as he listened to her mockery words. Just who does this Shao ZhenZhu think she is, a goddess?!

"Speaking of work,i do have time for my own life and lousiness isn't an exception. It's weird for people to think that people like me only think of work all their life, I'm also human after all."

Doctor Xiao had a proud look on his face as he explained more about himself and all the fun time he spends. He would occasionally glance at ZhenZhu to see her face reaction and every time ZhenZhu glared at him, he would feel satisfied.

Fei Shuang smiled with satisfaction when she managed to change the atmosphere more lively. Now it's getting fun.

'This idiot is making fun of me, giving me that stupid smile!' ZhenZhu thought as she was already fuming in anger.

"Whatever. I can't handle this so,

just turn around and drop me off first." ZhenZhu spoke angrily.

"Girlfriend don't say that. Stop this please, if you continue you'll wake up Angel from his sleep." Fei Shuang patted ZhenZhu's shoulder, trying to calm her down. She did not intentionally mean for this to happen ok. She didn't expect ZhenZhu to be offended for such a small tease. Geez they're both acting like children again!

"What are you going to do, you're going to walk back to your home?" Doctor laughed out of mockery. 'Serves you right bish. Now it's my turn to laugh hahaha!'

"I'll do anything if it gets me away from you!"

This was it. Fei Shuang can't handle this anymore. She has to put an end to it.

"Children children, children!" Fei Shuang yelled as she moved forward, trying to get their attention and continued, " This interminable decorum is amusing at first but it's getting very stale and we've got a long drive. So, why don't the two of you cut the whole shit and get to the part where you admit your s.e.x.u.a.l feelings for one another."

Doctor Xiao: "...Whoa 😮"

ZhenZhu: "You're way off limit Girl— 😠"

"Oh spare me, spare me, spare me." Fei Shuang pats ZhenZhu on the shoulder again and then turned to Doctor Xiao and continued, "Yes Yes she is arrogant, i know. Probably reminds you of bad relationsh.i.p.s and gosh you really like a nice and decent woman to settle down with but admit it, you're curious to know what she's like in a sec. And you.." Fei Shuang gave out a loud hahh sound as she turn her gaze to ZhenZhu and spoke, "What, you're just a big woman baby. You rather act tough and not show her true feelings cos the last time you hook with your heart you got hurt. Now, and now you two are not going to admit this feelings and instead keep dancing with one another with mind-numbing and boring enemy speeches. So please for my sake,either quit it or pull over, tear off those clothes and get it over already!"

Doctor Xiao: 😳😳😳

ZhenZhu: 😳😳😳

Fei Shuang's loud words made every single one of them silent. The feeling of the obvious s.e.x.u.a.l tension might be true, suddenly merging in their hearts.

Could it be...true?

"...huhh." Fei Shuang let out a sigh of relief as she relax and lay back to her seat. Finally, the yelling has ended and look, she can see the gate to their apartment already.
