Today was Mina's tenth birthday,and the year she could start getting trained by her parents.She was really excited but she was a little disappointed that she had to hide her abnormal talents from her parents. As she was caught in her thoughts her mother gently knocked on her door. "Mina may I come in?" her mother asked,"of course" Mina replied as she hastily hid her advanced magic books she had secretly bought.Once her mom heard her reply she walked in.Mina looked up from her bed to her mom that had just walked in carrying a beautifully wrapped gift. "I wanted to give you something but before you open it I want you to know that this has been passed down in my family and is extremely special"her mom said before handing her the tiny package. "I will take good care of it"Mina said before opening the package to reveal a tiny necklace with a charm on the shape of a star.Mina delicately put it on to her neck before her system gasped in suprise.whats wrong?" Mina thought to her system,'this necklace contains a spirit that will grant you a spirit pet depending on your power,it also has storage cpabilities,I sense something else but can't figure it out'Mina gasped in suprise 'really'.Minas mom looked at her quiet daughter as she put the necklace on her neck . "do you like it she asked" ",of course" Mina replied. After talking for a while her mom called her father into her room.Her parents looked at Mina then her mom said would you "like a spirit animal","I have one?"Mina replied pretending to be unaware of the necklaces power."the necklace will grant you one" her mom said with a chuckle."how" Mina asked curiously.concentrate on the necklace and try to feel its presence."ok "mina replied.Mina took a deep breath and focused on the necklace. suddenly she was pulled into a space in her head.'where am' I she thought as she wondered the seemingly endless place until she stumbled upon a book.'the magic origins' she picked it up and flipped until she landed on a page that caught her eye.'your spirit animal' ,just as she touched the page she fazed into reality,but to her surprise she was cradling a small object and her parents seemed to be in shock."a thunder Phoenix" her father mumbled as he stared wide eyed at the object in her hands.Mina followed hi gaze to a purple bird sleeping in her arms.she looked at it for a while before she felt a painful sting on her arm,a mark in the silhouette of the bird appeared on her arm."system what is that "her Mina asked her system in confusion."it is a soul of contract,it is only made when your spirit animal is fond of you" the system complimented. Mina beamed and looked up at her parents."our daughter is seriously talented" her mom chimed as she made her way to smother her daughter in a hug.
