Chapter 12 - Little Sister and Being promoted

They nodded and I took a safe route with here them to the next cell. I knocked the guard. Released all the soldiers and handed them the guns.

Kyle: "I am sergeant Kyle and I am here to rescue you. We have 100 reinforcements waiting on the hill outside the Base until then you have to listen to me and I will take you out of here."

I made Took 15 Soldiers in front and 15 in the back. All the civilians were between them. I was in the front and we were moving in a slow pace I asked them to move through the trench to the hill and never run. I passed Elly to the nearest soldier.

Kyle: "Ok Elly, Brother have some work to do. You go with uncle and I will meet you there and don't open your eyes and never look back, okay."

Elly: "I want to go with you. Don't leave me alone like my mom. She also left saying the same and never returned."

Kyle: "I promise, Princess. I will come back."

I raised my little finger and made a pinkie promise.

I went to the opposite side of the trench and fired my gun attracting all the attention toward me and giving them enough time to move away from there. When they were not in my sight, I pushed the button and all the bombs denoted. The base was on fire. Everyone in the building died that night. The soldiers in the building were shocked and I was running toward the gate. They suddenly regained their composure and started running behind me and started shooting. I made my way through the trucks and trenches I got shot two times but using my True Soldier's Body. I was making it somehow. Have to have Captain America's Skill. I wanted to teleport but I hadn't had enough energy to charge the stone. I was out of stamina. I was losing my sight. After some struggle I passed out but before passing out I saw a man and a girl near him.

???: "You did it, Sir"

Kyle: "We are getting a promotion after that, Fury"

Fury: "We surely are"

???: (panicking) "Brother, what happened to you."

Kyle: "Don't worry Elly. Brother is just sleepy. Go with uncle and he will give you a treat as you are so brave. You are brave, Right?"

Elly: "Yes, I am very brave. Ok brother, you sleep I will go with uncle."

I closed my eyes. The remain enemy soldiers were killed by my team.

{After a week}

I opened my eyes and saw myself in a white room. 'Did, I die again.' The I saw Fury coming near me.

Kyle: "You also died, Fury? Where is Elly? She is safe right."

Suddenly a little figure came out from behind Fury. She was Elly, Wearing a yellow frock with a matching headband, blue eyes like mine and blonde hair.

Kyle: (in rage) "You bastard, I gave you one job to secure Elly. You failed me. I will kill you."

'But wait where is the god and why is fury with me', then I looked at myself I was wearing blue gown. I was in a f.u.c.k.i.n.g Hospital.

Kyle: (Embarrassed) "Sorry Fury, I thought we all died. So, I just got …"

Fury: "No need to worry Major. It happens sometime."

I was shocked once again. Fury was chuckling at me and then Colonel Phillips came. Seeing my reaction, he also assumed I got the news.

Col: "You son of bitch. You single handily saved everyone."

Kyle: "Sir Why was I promoted to the rank of major."

Col: "For the deeds, Major Kyle. You alone saved all the civilians and soldiers. Destroyed the Enemy base and returned alive. Who else could do this? So, we just promoted you. The youngest major in the history of U.S Army. Young men are idolising you. We took this chance and increased our recruiting based and now they are all flooded with hot blooded man"

He threw my new ID.

Kyle: "Sir, did we take over France."

Col: "Yes we did, All thanks to you. Okay now rest"

Kyle: "Sir, I have request. I want to meet Steve."

Colonel expression just changed but he just sighed as he knew Steve and I were best friends.

Col: "Okay he is coming to the training camp next week. I will pick you up."

I nodded the Fury and Colonel left me alone. I called Elly near me and took a good look at her.

Elly: "What are looking at brother. Is there anything on my face?"

Kyle: "No, there is nothing. I was just looking, how cute is my princess Elly."

Elly: "I know I am cute, Aunt Carter also told me so."

Kyle: "So you met Aunt Carter. Do you also meet Captain America?"

Elly: "Yes, I also met Captain America but he was not in his dress. He picked a bike with hands. He was cool but not as cool as you."

I was happy talking to her. I really took a liking to her. I will adopt her. I made my mind. I then removed my drips forms my body and started moving through the corridor. Everyone knew me as they knew the heroic deeds of major Kyle. I saw respect in their eyes. Elly was in my l.a.p. I asked her if she wanted to live with me and she nodded. I adopted her officially now she is Elly Silvers. I said she also want to join Army. She now lives with me. Army provided me with a house. I placed her in Army school in the camp.

I was in my house. I had nothing else to do waiting for the week to pass. I checked my status.
