NPC’s Domination

Chapter 15 - Welcome back

Everybody rushed to the world tree and towards me, Kishtan. Even the other gods, which I will meet for the first time ever. My plot about the capturing of the players, had been initiated, with the uploading of the game into the internet. They will have a bad surprise when enough will play the game and I activate the trap, hidden as a patch. But enough about that right now, let's welcome my dear believers, deities and dryads.

Sitting on my throne, I look into the distance and think about what to do next. It was a majestic and still a fearsome image. As the throne grows with me, it had grown to over 4 meters in height and my body had grown some horns which belong to the dragons and to the demons. Two curved ones at the side of the head and two stretched ones on top of my head. The wings are a mixture of the leathery bat wings from the vampires and scaly wings from the dragons, which spanned over 8 meters in each direction when stretched. The skin has become pale green from the abundant life energy I absorbed but it seemed as if there was a stone crust on it. The dark veins however which had stretched below the skin, were still there, pulsating in a steady rhythm. The effect of the undead legion from my bones has become apparent, after I created the 'Dead realm'. With every Undead, I am connected with, I will get stronger. And having raised every dead thing there was, I established uncountable connections and my bones and their aura grew stronger by multiple times. Even after trying to break my arm with a full forced attack of mine, it just clanged off. Admiring my body, I didn't realise that the five deities and the six dryads had arrived as the first of all.

"We welcome you father. We hope you had a good sleep. It's an honour to finally meet you, face to face, after only having heard stories about you."

"Hello my dear young ones. The stories you heard about me were hopefully all the best? Well it doesn't matter. How have you lot been in the last millennium? Any major incidences? I want to know anything. There's a lot to catch up to."

Suddenly loud flapping could be heard from the dark and starry sky outside which had changed into a night sky. The body of eight dragons could be seen landing outside of the entrance to the castle on the well-groomed garden that hadn't grown at all during the thousand years as the interface hadn't yet been changed and allowed it to grow. In the dark sky behind the bulky figures of the dragons, some smaller figures appeared, all being accompanied by some servants or whatever they were. Landing outside the shine of the light from the torches, eight different pairs of eyes shined out of the darkness. They step forward and I recognise them as the Rulers of the night, having transformed from their bat swarm form to humanoid form since they nearly have the same wings as me. Then, through a fiery portal, that had appeared in front of the entrance, eight demon lords step through. This time, really with servants and not just many bats in one lot, wearing probably really expensive stuff, that looked as if it was decorated with gold. Afterwards, the giants arrived, their crowns on the top of their head, having a dignified expression on their face. At last, with a big and loud explosion, a grey portal opened up and carried by hundreds of undead skeletons, eight barrows appeared, out of which eight undead commanders appeared. Together they marched into the big hallway, that had grown bigger to give space for the giants and dragons as they walked to me and the already arrived deities and dryads. Together they fell on their knees and in unison they spoke:

"Welcome back, almighty creator and ancestor of our race. We have guarded your legacy safely, and followed the orders, you gave us before leaving. Hail Kishtan!"

"I greet you my trusted fellows, I will be with you forever now and soon, whole new batches of people from races will appear, as I have told you before. I hope for you that you have prepared well, because the time you had had until now, will be counted as easy engagements, because the mortal races from Midgard, will get reinforcements from my old world. But, I have already set up a plot to trick them to have the same conditions as we have and not always revive after dying. But that is only far in the future. Let's have a feast."

~Create equipment: 8*Demon food (Negative emotion mix), 8*Vampire food (Blood bowl), 8 Dragon portion of food, 8*Gigantic portion of food, 8*Ghastly soul meal, 1*Round table with 52 seats, 1*L.u.s.ter, 6*Sap of Yggdrasil, 5*Specialities of their races, 1*Beef burger with french fries

"Yeah! Hail Kishtan!" And with that, they stormed to the tables, seeing their favourite types of food being placed in front of them, knowing that they won't get such a meal anymore for a long time. Stuffing their food into themselves as if there is no tomorrow, they don't even have enough time to chat with each other between their bites. Seeing this, I too, bite savourously into my burger tasting the feeling of home and where I used to come from, knowing what will come soon, and hope, that in a year, there will still be all of us here around this table, which I decided will stay here from now on, serving as a reminder, that unity is the best possible and if there is a diplomatic problem between the supremace races, and I will solve it here.

After the dinner together, it gets serious again and the different legatees queue up in front of me, while I sit on my throne. "Now, let's get down to business. You came here to welcome me, and I surely appreciate it, but I also want to know what had happened this last one thousand years. Does someone have an idea what to do about it? Tell me, I won't bite you, so no false shyness."

A demon steps up slowly. With a rumbling voice he says: "We have an item in this world, called, the stone of memory, there we can store our wisdom and knowledge to give it to the next generation. It's just, it's pretty rare and the backlash is pretty heavy, because if it doesn't work, and the fusing of the memory fails, all participants will have their brains attacked and only those with high intelligence have a better chance of surviving this. The ratio of having higher lntelligence also helps the fusion to succeed."

I held up my hand, signaling him to stop, and he stepped down again, going back to his group of demons. I however, lived through a trauma after hearing the word fusion and immersed himself in the memory of being taken apart alive. "Sir? Everything okay?" This breaks me out of my stupor. I shake my head and continue. "Well, does anyone of you have such a memory stone?"

Looking at each other, asking questions with their gazes, they shake their heads. "Now what do you guys want to do? I actually just wanted to know about the history of the multiverse and experience what you experienced, so that I know what has to be changed and improved. So go on, it's your turn to say something if it has to be said. If not, I would say this meeting is finished and we will see us in a year here again."

The 51 beings in the room immediately gathered into crowds to speak with each other and gather ideas if they had something to say. Then, after a few minutes of waiting, a representant of each race came forward. First came the goddess Lumina, "We, the deities of Midgard, have decided to gift you a welcome back gift for you to enjoy", she took out a scroll and gave it to me, "the scroll of cultivation potential". She went back to the group of deities, whispering something to them. Next, the dryad that had her birth from the branch from the world 'Midgard' came in front of me and took out a sceptre made out of wood. "We, the dryads, have decided to gift you as a welcoming gift a unique sceptre, made out of the wooden skin of all of us and shaped by time, the world sceptre.

After the dryad had stepped down, a demon steps up, "We, the demon legatees, have decided to gift you a pill, which has the effect to turn somebody into a demon. And although we know that his Majesty has the demon morph skill, some aren't demons and this may be a reward. The demon race has, besides spending time on researching summoning, also spent time on pills to convert anybody from another race into a demon. It only works if the receiver accepts the race change pill. Together with this pill, we give you the permission of the inventor to copy it. Because without the permission, nothing would work, although I think you're an exception to most of the rules and so it's just a formality." He handed me over the pill and I got a message, saying that I could duplicate the race changing pill. Stepping down, he walked past a vampire ancestor and inwardly shuddered after seeing his coldly glinting eyes. "We, the vampire legatees, have decided to gift you a crystal with an unused 'Well of the ancestor's blood' in it for you to breed your own little family that will defend you at all costs and will have your bloodline in them."

Next, an undead stepped up, his pale, bony face clackering all the time. "We, the undead legatees, have decided to gift you as a welcome back gift the 'Crown of the Undead king' which had never been claimed by any of us undead commanders, as we are always equally distributed in numbers during our fights."

One before the last one, one of the giants stepped up. It looked actually kind of funny. In comparison to the little bodies of the other retainers, the giant's body looked enormous, but in comparison with my real body, which I currently used, it looked like a little child, being only half as big as I am if I stand. And he is already some extraordinary 4 and a half meters. "We, the giant kings, have decided to gift you the 'Nemeic lion's cape' which we fought for days to acquire and received some heavy injuries from that lion, as he was completely immune to our attacks on the outside. Only after filling him up with stones did he die."

And lastly, a dragon legatee stepped up gracefully and still, full of killing intent like a real beast that lived in a dangerous environment. "We, the dragon legatees, have decided to gift His Majesty an egg of the two mightiest dragons, currently in existence. That's my son, sir. Please be gentle to him."

Shocked that the dragon in front of me gave me his egg, showed me, that they were serious about the whole religion thing and finally it settled in my, a bit slow working brain, that I was gifted a dragon! The thing that I always wanted in my childhood, since I read books about chosen ones with their cool dragons, fighting evil. "I thank you all so much for these gifts. I will send you off now, although unwillingly, but please remember, when the tide of the players is coming, don't give up, but rely on each other. And as well, you all are able to send your strongest warriors, mages and crafters here, if you want to, because I want to create a centre, where we all can live together freely and exchange wisdom for further development. Even for the best ten of each race of Midgard I will make an exception. Go now and find that damn memory stone, I don't have enough time to read all the books in the world."

"Hail Kishtan!" With that last sentence, they walked out of the festively decorated room with the l.u.s.ter and the round table, leaving me behind alone. Looking around me, I saw, that some company must come here, or else I would turn crazy.
