NPC’s Domination

Chapter 41 - Spirit completion potion

"What is needed? Do you want me to laugh? I doesn't matter if I tell you. After all you can't gather them in time or if, at all. However, I will give you the name of the materials that are need. They are: Blood from a dryad, ichor from a god, a jelly core of a psychic slime, water from the fountain of life, heart blood of a space creature, mixed over the heat of the eternal hellish flame in the underworld and in a cauldron made of wood of the world tree. If you can access these materials, you will definitely get an immunity against mental attacks." He stopped speaking and the priest delved into a conversation with his god. As soon as the priest woke up from his trance, he wanted to ask the mysterious man from where he knew this, but he was already gone.

The crowd that had gathered together, disbanded, leaving the priest alone. He was thinking what was happening up there in the palace of the gods, which he only knew from legends.

Up there, all eleven members had returned to the now fully awoken Kishtan who was out of his stupor and acted normally again, since the influence of the demon heart was stopped by the aura of the world tree's source. "Have you found anything? Is there anything that can help my condition?"

The eleven beings looked at each other and suddenly, the god that hadn't ever said anything spoke up: "There is something, but it is extremely difficult to acquire the materials. And as we don't have even the tiniest sample or picture of it, you can't yet create it with your godly might. We have to send out yet another quest for the adventurers of the worlds." My temper was short again. I wanted to do something and not look at the light-spending source for all day. "Do what you have to do, but do it quickly. If it isn't done by thirty days, I will come out of this ball of light and it doesn't matter the consequences, I will do it myself, if my psyche allows it. If not, well, it will be the world's problem. So, … GO! GOD DANGIT!" The beings that stood respectfully in a halfmoon around the body lying on the floor, twitched and with frightful expression they yelled "HAIL KISHTAN" that even the walls shook. Then, they ran out of the building and into the free space in front of the castle. It seemed that they all wanted to be the first to escape my bad mood. With urgent expressions, they flew off to their centres of might and issued quests with personal belongings and benefits like blessings as a reward for the one who issued one of the listed items as a sacrifice.

They weren't issued on the world 'Earth', as there was neither a space creature, nor a slime yet. As well, they wouldn't even help him, since he got them in a situation where they had to fight for their rights and their survival. However, the quest that Quin, on the Northern continent in Midgard got, was made up like this.

-------------

I arrived at the continent dad had sent me off to, to learn about archery, healing, and assassination. Stupidly, he had somehow thought about some trees in the woods and now I was lost in the woods. Freaking hell! If I come back and see him, I will tell him my opinion about what to do, when sending someone off to somewhere when they hadn't been there once or had any skills in surviving alone or in the wilds. I climbed up on a tree and in the distance, I saw a small village on a clearing. While I was walking there, I got two new notification.

[Sweet heart, I won't be able to listen to your calls right now. You are on your own for a while]

He was the main deity? Does daddy play a joke with me? Regardless. I will try to do something for him. But first, I will have to train my skills with the different masters. Is this some special village? A secluded one with masters in it?

Full of hopes, I marched through the dirty ground and through the spiny branches until I stood at the front of the small village. Then I heard screams full of terror. A group of players who had stayed on this world, raided the village to the ground while the members who were archers were out, hunting in the wilds.

Should I run or should I hide? I didn't want to be caught and abused by the players. I currently didn't even know how to shoot properly, but as soon as I saw the terrified people of the elves that ran into the woods in my direction, I took out the bow that was given to me by father and took an arrow to the nook. I aimed and as soon as the first one came around the corner, I released it. It only grazed his face. But then, I saw how many health points he had. Only a pitiful 400. Even I had over a thousand. What a weakling! And he had already lost 25 by the grazed arrow. He signalled the others behind him to stop running after the fleeing people. The archer he saw there could still shoot right and hit him directly in the face or somewhere else where it would be vital and kill him. And death is ultimately half-permanent now.

With a strong and angry gaze, he looked at me, cursing me for stealing his easy experience. I looked back with a more intense gaze than he could muster and he was the first to look away, but immediately looked back angrily. Slowly, I retreated, under the watchful gazes of the players into the woods, after all the refugees had escaped. Running after them, as soon as I was out of sight, I heard the loudly cursing players storming into the woods and after me.
