Two people, a pair of man and woman, typical in a black suit and glasses. They finally came, I uttered beneath my breath.

"Yuu-sama as the day of your discharge comes, it has been decided you will meet with Shinomiya-sama for the discussion of your foreseen course." They started it all in a single breath.

Still, I was surprised the man himself wanted to meet with me, I thought he would only view me as the same as Kaguya then do whatever to me, a servant perhaps. It still beneath my expectation, though.

"I understand, and I have to properly show my gratitude to him too." I accepted with a nod. Then they step forward to hold me but I raised a hand to them.

"It's fine."

I muttered behind my lips as I tapped my consciousness, "Cast_reinforcement," the core complied with my command as I felt the strength to my leg returning.

Good, I've been trying to code cast these past days as the nurse gently led me walking for therapy.

I staggered a bit but managed to make my way to the door, the two just warily trailing behind me.

"Where's Kaguya-san?" I asked as they led me to the black car.

"She will be expecting you after the discussion of course," The woman, replied.

Sigh, my only hope to survives and enacted what I planned to stick myself with Shinomiya household. I can do that without them of course, but it will be easier that way.

"Ah, thank you." She opened the door, as I sat behind the backseat.

A good hour of admiring the scenery of the city and its concrete jungle, we've finally stopped through the quieter suburban.

It was…certainly big, enough to fit the luxurious of two Japanese Inn. We passed the front gate with the two guards knocking. The yard was greeted with a large pond almost encircling the building, with those bamboo waterfalls as glittering fishes swim their ways. Shrubberies and trees trimmed with proper care, creating a serene atmosphere outside of hustle and bustle the world outside.

We've passed numerous traditional sliding doors.

We've stopped midway as the two bowed their head to it.

"Shinomiya-sama, as requested we've brought him over." A quiet pause before an answer inside came.

"Bring him in."

I guess that's my cue, I stepped inside.

He was certainly old, with black sleek hair started to grey out. His sharp gaze falls to me as I sit on the cushion and gave him a proper bow.

"Looks like you've got a proper basis." He nodded in satisfaction.

"Leave us alone," He said in no one particular, his eyes closed as I heard the sound of feet scurrying away outside and curiously on the ceiling.

"I won't beat around the bush. Do you know the other side of the world?" He started, asking the question to me.

"Is it the moonlit world?" I'm not sure to answer, it was supposed to be a secret society unless he…

"I'm a magus," He cut my mind as he stands up and slides the door, revealing the splendor of the garden.

"I'm sure you know of this, the path to be a magus is a path to the death."

He stared outside and turned around facing me again.

"Their future will be bleak, their origin will be molded, and their fate shall be twisted," I finished his sentence.

Such is the fate of magi, there's no turning back. Danger, tragedy, and peril will decorate the rest of their life.

He sat again, "Our society has been clouded in secrecy all for the advancement to the root and preservation of the magecraft. But, thirty years ago, a major incident caused the collapsed of the world Mana reserves. With the mana dwindling and the clocktower in shambles, un-procedural experiment and chaos run rampant across the globe."

That's why I was there, rotting deep inside the dark dungeon. Birthed -all for the experiment of a madman, clinging to the old ways.

"I'm a never magus at heart, forced," His face contorted in reminiscence, "I'm sure you aware of how the treatment to my own children particularly my only daughter."

What was he saying…Magecraft dying, secrecy, fate, death and forced. I tried to connect the words he said, "You don't want to involve her in this." I said in conclusion.

He just sat there in a silent nod, "You got a good head, I can ease in peace."

What do you mean? As I realized, the world started to turn dark for me.

Gan'an widened his eyes as the boy's eyes glowed in blue. It was warm, malevolent at the same time.

"I want to talk to you." His voice was gone deep, like a withered man then amplified it with 40 men in chorus. It was soft at the same time yet commanding. His existence warped the space, contradicting with the law of the world.

"Speak." Gan'an was never a magus at heart, but he has a share of perilous experience behind the curtain. Still, he never encountered a being in this magnitude, perhaps a divine spirit or an ancient ancestor could match the aura of the boy alas he was lucky enough to never encountered them, until now.

The boy raised a brow as a realization of the old man predicament.

"I apologize. I didn't realize my reality marble has been manifested alongside me."

That was reality marbles!? His existence must be strong enough to anchor and overwrite the world even without conscience.

The boy tone gets normal, but the sparking blue in his eyes remains.

"Don't be fret I just want a chat with you."

"You seem trustworthy enough with that big plaque of a literal motto of Human exploitation outside."

Gan'an raised his eyebrows in turn, did he mean the Shinomiya group motto.

If you are a Shinomiya, you shall not rely on but manipulate,

You shall not take, but seize,

You shall not love, all without exception.

"That's just a strategy, a mere bluff for the weak-willed." That was actually the original words of the founder, but he only uses it nowadays as decoration and intimidation for the 'guest' of him.

Only a fool would show his own live motto and personality and b.a.r.e it to his enemies.

"Sure, I will buy that but a man like you is the one easier to trust."

"What do you mean?" All at costs, he won't offend the figures in front of him, his honed instinct screamed as the head of a Shinomiya group.

"You won't move but all for the profit and gain, predictable. I have my need you have your own."

"You don't know me enough then," Gan'an replied, the boy means business and he shall treat it as such –an equivalent.

"Fuhaha, I like that. I can use a man like you. let's make a deal, a devil to the devil." The boy with a glint to his eyes said in a carefree tone.

An exchange happened as the boy's eyes turned hazy and his eye widened in confusion.

Wait, what happened? I blink my eyes, clutching my head as my vision getting clearer.

I turned my head then saw Gan'an-sama standing as his fan pointed to me like it was a Sengoku warlord in drama.

"Yuu, from now on your name shall be Yuu Shinomiya."

Just great, what the f.u.c.k has happened.

Sorry for the late update, life's getting better for me as of late. I'll update this at least once or twice a week since readers gain rate getting lazy and due, not popular enough. I trust it was because, the lack of system, wishes of god, transmigration or reincarnation, and also my own crap of writing.

Don't be fret. I'll reveal it in the next author note. As I'm sure my writing IS very confusing (that's an understatement), so I will explain it all in there along with the planned crossover, and perhaps love interest.

And of course as always, some 'suggestion' will be welcomed there, since the plot is still very loose and flexible.

May you have a good day, and by the way FGO is sucks. Gacha game is a heresy, that should be burned, but I love my only golden SR Eli-chan who has been stuck with me since the beginning.
