Oh Love Me Mistress: A Kaguya Crossover Fic

Chapter 4 - This is not a crack fic isn't it?

"This is Saber-Actual reporting to Section. The sector is clear."

"Long sword-Actual here, everything is clear" echoed the voice off the radio in the room.

"Roger that, move on to the next area." Replied the man beside her.

The room was once a bedroom, now have been make-shifted into a command room. Fully equipped with tools and ordnance it needed.

She has ordered the men to search for the forests where the boy trail came from and vanished.

Of course without a fight with some senior "Guest member" here much to her dismay, leecher they are. Suggesting to leaves the matter to the local police, she scoffed at the idea. If you want to get a job done, then do it yourself.

A value that has been ingrained to her since the first time she opens her eyes. Besides, she didn't want the employment of the PMC gone to waste.

Kaguya shifted her eyes back to the monitor, connected to the camera on the Saber-Actual helmet.

Providing them the camera feed as the fire-team trudged slowly with weapons traced forward. She can felt the tension between them as the pine forests get darker and darker.

"Hayasaka, have you contacted the hospital?" she asked the maid behind her as her eyes jumped from monitor to monitor, looking for a sign or oddities.

"Yes, we have Kaguya-sama…but unfortunately due to thick snow piled up on the road. They said will wait until it cleanly wiped out." Kaguya raised her eyebrows at the maid report.

Don't throw some tasteless humor on me, how can they be so lax? This is no joking matter. The child is in critical condition. As much as she wanted to commend her doctor effort, the mansion medical supply is for Emergency at best. Yes, the mansion may be well equipped but it will be much better if he was to be moved to a better and safe environment.

This is no time for incompetence. She'll need to "talk" to the hospital after this ordeal passed.

"Then told them to use the emergency helicopter…no don't tell me the helicopter is unavailable." She g.r.o.a.n.e.d, knowing the answer her maid will say. I hate to predict something sometimes.

"As much as I want to say no, Kaguya-sama but…"

"Stop right there Hayasaka, you don't need to continue…" Kaguya sighed once more as she pinched the bridge of her nose.

It was like god paying her retribution for all of her luck until now. Oh, rest assured, she will return it ten-fold as any respected Shinomiya will do.

Right, she will make the talk "rougher" than usual, they will be dragged to the court for this matter if must. She promised. The judgment will be swift but painful…thoroughly.

Call it an overkill she didn't care.

No one makes light of Shinomiya name. No one!

"So Ralph-san, how is the hunt going?" Shifting her attention, she asked the burly man beside him.

"You know it Ojou-chan, we've been scouring every inch of the forests, edge, crook, and cranny, and double-check it. Nothing gave away the clue of the boy origin. It was like he…"

"Popped out of the forests, you say?" she intercepted his line, clever girl he thought.

On the contrary of his build and rough patches of beard, Ralph was a warm person inside especially to children. Despite the popular belief of PMC, most of them are secretly yearning for affection and innocence. Two important aspects they lost with the nature of their job.

Two aspects that most often exploited inside modern warfare, it was dirty but got the job done. He thought one time when he was a rookie, a child trapped between rubbles only to grab his hand and a man popped out with a grenade in his hand.

The explosion almost blasts his entire torso left, miraculously he survived. Every year every night, he would be haunted by the soft sobbing and trembling eyes of the child as she clings to his hand, Begging him to help.

The damage is lasting.

"Yeah, you could say that." He rubbed his rough chin. The stubbles bring man comforts indeed.

"Alright team, the day is closing in pulled back to ba…"

"Wait a minute Ralph-san."

"Look Ojou-chan, as much as I want to pay whoever freaks tortured the poor boy soul we can't deny there's a possibility of him being dumped inside the forests." He turned his head to Kaguya.

"No, call it a gut feeling but at least give me a shot, Ralph-san." She glared at him, an assertion of dominance but for him it was adorable. He chuckled at her antics, though it was effective as he relented to the glare and not that cute pout of hers.

"Fine, one shot."

"That's all I need." Her face relished in a smug, satisfied with her intimidation. He just shook his head in clear amus.e.m.e.nt as the little maid behind Kaguya just turned her red face away in clear embarrassment from her mistress.

"Okay, I've marked the location where they need to go." Kaguya drawing some lines and X on top of the map.

"You heard the lady, lads." He voiced to his piece of radio, relaying the coordinate to the location Kaguya pointed.

"Affirmative"

"Why did you think so, Ojou-chan?" Ralph asked her, fiddling to the map on the table. Curious what makes her confidence in finding the boy origin.

"There," She just pointed toward the satellite view of the forests, a few blinking red dots indicating his subordinate current movement.

The coordinate Kaguya send before was indicating a small clearing inside the forests. But somehow the two teams were encircling it instead, leading them up to a creek behind it.

"Section this is abnormal, we can't get to the correct coordinate." Confusion smeared the mind of every single person on the field.

The room descended into silence, cold permeated through the gap.

"Saber-actual what did you feel about it?" He voiced his radio, asking his concern.

"I don't know, it felt…natural like this path was the right course…then after we realized we ended up in this creek, our memories were jumbled." The man was a hardened veteran in middle-east, nothing could unfazed him but encountering something unknown was setting him on an edge.

"Can you clearly see the coordinate location there?" The small lady asked. Looks like, he was underestimating her.

"Yes we can, it's just a small field of a pile of snow." She eyed narrowly at the report, her face scrunched up in thought.

"Holy shit, so we ended up discovering witch lair or something?" Some saber-team member started to banter, clearly in an attempt to dampen the tension down.

"Obviously it's a mini area 51, mind interference and stuff."

"Then what we need to do is to run there, gun blazing with Naruto style." Some chuckled at the last statement, but Kaguya was wide eye when she heard that, as her face indicated a state of eureka.

"That's it! What we need is something fast enough before the interference caught up to their mind." She turned her attention to Ralph who raised his eyebrow at her outburst.

"Ralph-san, I suggest we send in the chopper." She said remembering her personal attack helicopter whose been standing-by since the search.

"I get the gist of it, but may I see the reason."

"The Eurocopter has an in-built thermal vision as well as energy, infrared, wave, and light sensor. We also need to ensure, what we will be dealing here before." She also didn't want to deal with it, if it were a secret military facility or something along the lines.

"Fair enough" the ground-team was not equipped for night operation, to begin with, and they didn't bring a thermal scope or NGV either.

He turned his head, to the one who's been monitoring the whole operation this time "Khaliska, you heard her send in the order."

"Roger that, section." The brunette grabbed her earpiece, transmission-ing the order to the chopper team.

"Section to all team on the field, stand-by and wait for further orders, backup is coming."

"Affirmative section"

"Chopper team is taking off. Call sign echo-one-one-nine. ETA in 10 minutes."

"Roger that."

"So Ojou-chan back to the matter, how did you know there's an anomaly there?"

"The team has passed through the area before but instead taking the easier path through the clearing they take an indirect route toward elevated land beside it, which a hassle considering how many shrubberies that block the path. I somehow doubt it before but it looks like I'm hitting the bullseye." She explained.

The girl sharp, even a seasoned commander would have a hard time to deduce something like that. She has the talent and the necessary courage to take risks. If she wasn't the child of his employer, he would recruit her right here right now.

"I see, that's an excellent observational skill if I have to say."

"Hardly, this is expected of Shinomiya bloodline" She scoffed at the praise, though if the red tinge at her cheek was any clear indication. The praise was too sincere for Kaguya to process she just got too used to bootlicker.

The maid just smiled softly behind her mistress.

"This is Echo one-one-nine to section. We've arrived at the location, standing by for further orders."

"Copy that Echo one-one-nine, switch the camera to FLIR system and scan the area."

"Roger that." As soon as the camera switched to a monochrome view of the clearing-no there stood a single building.

"Holy crap, section are you seeing this?!" The pilot asked in bewilderment, his eyes shifted constantly in disbelieve from his helmet HUD to the empty clearing in front of him as the command room tension was heating up, eye glued to the monitor being displayed.

"Crystal clear," Ralph said. His tone was grave as he swallowed his saliva. His state of mind was no different. There stood in the clearing was one big building, it was a mansion in western design.

"Ralph-san please orders them to fire a rocket barrage around the vicinity and preferably on each corner," Kaguya interjected whatever Ralph currently thinking.

"What?"

"Just do it, if I am right the kinetic energy should be enough to penetrate and disrupt the barrier or whatever it is."

He pondered a bit what she's saying before settled his mind.

"Echo that's an order, you green to fire"

"Copy that, firing" an almost unending stream of rockets, were flying away to the clearing, snow rise high up as it was water inside a raging storm. Trees were blown up and splintered up into pieces.

*boom**boom**boom**boom**boom*boom*

Unknown to them, the ground team could see something simmered around the clearing indicating the barrier was falling revealing a big western mansion.

"Good job Echo one-one-nine, stand-by for further orders"

"Affirmative" He turned his head again at the little lady.

"If I'm correct, we can send in the fire team now." She shrugged.

"I wonder how can you be so calm and unfazed by this?" He asked her as if it was an accusation.

"Believe me Ralph-san I almost freaked out just like any of you, but I think there will be a better time later to do that." Huh, like a switch then. What a terrifying little lady.

Content with her answer, for now, he shifted his attention back to the monitor.

"This is Saber-actual to section we can see something simmered out of existence." Good, then the little lady plan was working successfully. How many times did he refer her as genius or freak? Too many to count and he didn't know if that was a good thing.

There's no proof if the mansion was the place the boy came from, he could be got dumped to the woods in the first place. The mansion could be just a coincidence, a variable.

The state of the mansion was no better than the previous shredded trees, only some rotting, tattered woods, and stones. Then again he could be just facing a literal fantasy witch or something here.

His mind went full overdrive. The implication and fallout could be greater than he expects, hell, even he could imagine something out of horror movies will shit-storming his men or this place. For the second time he felt fear, the funny thing was it could be just the work of his imagination.

Then again he needs to put the culprit six feet under, he was not a man of justice. But seeing the states of the boy himself, it reminded him too much of that girl and every child he came across. Maybe he just seeking comfort for everything he had done, to ease the guilt seeped deep inside. He didn't seek salvation for all the sin he has done, still, he was content for this.

Yes, nothing ventured nothing gained. He weighed his mind.

"-ction! Section! Section!!" a shout broke him of his stupor.

"Wha-what is it Khaliska!" his voice forced, surprised of her shouting before.

"You're overthinking." Her eyebrows scrunched into a frown, "Hurry up and give the orders, and get this over with, I'm itching for a beer or my metaphorical balls will get frozen here!"

Right, she was right. Nothing good comes from overthinking, while his men could just be slaughtered on the battlefield.

His eyes wandered a bit to Khaliska, his only partner since they were a crook in the field. A home, two children, and retirement would be nice, he thought.

Nevertheless, he purposely ignored her, grabbing the earpiece. She huffed over his response, turning back to her station.

"Copy that, ground-team your order was to storm in the place, and investigate it. And approach in caution, we don't know what we dealing here yet." The order has been passed, now or never.

"Roger that section."

Bird-viewing from the satellites, the ground-team which consisted of two fire squad in a standard 4 men cell was cautiously approaching the building. Arms traced forward, fingers twitched in anticipation as they stand ready in front of a decrepit door.

The wood was rotting, chilly wind flowed through the cracks and gap between it. They split up, one taking the back while others on the front entrance.

Nodding in signal to each other, they kicked open the door. "Breaching, breaching!"

"Clear!"

"Dining area is clear!"

"Lounge clear!"

"Clear!"

They surveyed each of the room available to be found in the building. Only to find some broken furniture, snow blanketed over them as some greeneries struggled to survive over the harsh wind passing through.

"Why would someone abandon such places when they have those barrier gimmicks?" Ralph heard the little lady muttering beside him.

"There are a lot of reasons. Abandoned safe-houses, a long-dead facility, or residence, were just one of it." Ralph answered her question.

"I think it's just a cover Kaguya-sama." The little maid behind Kaguya was surprisingly talked.

"Why you did think so, Hayasaka?" Kaguya didn't bother to turn her back, still stoically gazing at the monitor.

"It's a stereotype, what do you think of a typical villain room in a mystery or fantasy novel?"

"I see, you mean the hidden room. That's a good deduction Hayasaka."

"Guess, there's no loss in trying, however." He tapped his earpiece again.

"Say no more section we've already got what you need." Saber-actual confidently said, as his camera pointed towards an antique bookcase, with burnt book lining over it. But a single object stood out amongst it, a rusted iron candelabra stand behind a pile of book. He pulled it. Then a loud grumbling could be heard behind it, as the bookcase went sideways revealing its hidden path.

"This is too stereotypical, guess it was true. Wizard never bothered with 'Muggles' stuff and their modern literature that already cracked wizard habits." One of the men can't help but comment.

"Heh, clearly they've been underestimating us."

"Hope we won't deal shit with fantasy nose-less dark lords here."

"Well, you bet Mr.Potter."

"Okay guys, shut your sweet tea time we got a briefing here."

"Turn the safety off, lights on. Proceed with caution and keep your finger crossed, only fire when you were fired upon. We're dealing with unknown here." Saber actual faced his men along with the long-sword team.

"Long-sword team will stay behind to guard the entrance, and provide back-up if any chance this shit goes FUBAR."

"Affirmative."

"You all ready?" Everyone nodded, "Good, on my mark."

"Go!"

Barrels traced forward as they one by one descend into the dark hole. It was barely enough for two a.d.u.l.ts to walk side by side. A good two minutes passed as they step off the last stairs, a room greeted them.

It barely contained other than dusty broken chairs and table, cautiously scanning the room they keep forward to the double door in front of them.

On the contrary to the sparse room, the metal door was anything but old.

"It's locked." Saber actual said as he pulls the handle, "We won't see any keys, it's 6cm thick. Saber-two prepare the breaching charge, everyone in position."

"Ready? Good, in one, two, three."

His words greeted with the expulsion of the door, discharging it into pieces.

"Breaching, Breaching."

Arms forward, fingers on the trigger.

"Target!?"

"Clear." The dust cleared, revealing the sight in front of them.

"Holy shit" two words were uttered.
