One Love Betrayal, Another Bliss..

God, you don't know how it feels when someone your love starts controlling you or your job. "Come on, Lucas. I have learned and improved over the last few weeks since joining this company and the only things that can help me forget Marcus." His face was imprinted with jealousy. I could feel his blood boiling. I instantly regretting saying the last word.

Everything was quiet for a moments. Claiming the situation, I bit my teeth before saying. "Look here, H.. Honey.. its has been 5 months since Marcus and I had been separated. I'm your girlfriend now, I wasn't thinking to end it with you soon anyway." Lucas smiles, not because of my confirmation but the word he heard, 'honey'.. while my own face was still blank with expression.

Before I could have a witty comeback, he g.r.o.a.n.e.d and kissed my lips. He caught me off guard and still bitting my bottom lip, making me m.o.a.n. We pulled away to what seemed like minutes because we were left panting and catching for a breath. "I will be the one to always bite your bottom lip. No one.. I meant no one, except me." He whispered and kissed my forehead. I just stood there in shock.

"Meet me downstairs in 30 minutes for lunch, okay?" He told me. I nodded and he gave me a quick passionate kiss. Our foreheads are touching. "Don't take too long, okay?" He said. "What if I took over an hour?" I replied. He playfully glared and cupped my a.s.s. "Promise me you'll come to me sooner." I squealed, nodded and smiled, c.a.r.e.s.sing his cheek with my right hand. "I promise."

He gently grabbed my hand and placed it in his own, kissing the back of my hand. "I'll be waiting for you in the lobby." I nodded and noted it down on my reminder. He pecked my forehead, went back to his chair and sat down. I sighed and left his office to finish my task.

Soon it'll 30 minutes, I tidy my desk, grabbed my black leather clutch bag, dashed out of my office and signaled Sandra and Gwen, I have lunch appointment. I made it to the elevator and sighed, my heart pumping in my c.h.e.s.t. Upon reaching the lobby, I saw him talking on the phone. His facial expressions tensed up a little. But once, he saw me, his expression relaxed and I smile at him.

Lucas walked over to the reception and buzzed the valet man to bring out his new sports car.. Audi RX sport. Few staff upon seeing us giggled and whispered among themselves. The receptionist smiled and I blushed. Then his car and

the valet came, Lucas took the key from him and handed to me. From now onwards, this's your car. Its under your care now.

I didn't heard wrong.. my car. I honestly have no idea what to say. I want to ask, 'What are you doing? Why are you giving me a car?' But all these words just won't blurts out. I just stood there stunned. I had taken several lessons in driving back in City X, have my license and even own a car. 'Why does he need to give me a car. He can always arranged his driver for me.' When I came back to my sense. "Lucas, we need to talk... Car!"

He's was taken off guard by my question. But he seems to already know my queries, walked past me and is moving towards the Audi. He's already seated at the driver seat by the time I open the passenger door. I passed him the car key and we just drove off, no destination in mind. We didn't talk. There's silence all the way. Only the radio accompanied them.

I breathe and shoot my last hope. "Honey, I don't...." But before I could finished my sentence, he cuts me. "Sunshine, I know you didn't want anything material goods from me. I understand your principal too. You're my girlfriend, can't I not just pampers you once a while. Furthermore, I didn't feel good you going in the public transportation." He said.

"If its make you feel uneasy, I can always grab a cab or you can always arrange Sam, the driver for me.." I brightly answered him. "What if Sam's busy? What if it raining heavily like the other days?" He raised his brows, feeling annoyed. "But... Why?" I gasped and tried explaining to him. "No.. But? Why? Ruby this's the best arrangement." I look at Lucas, his eyes shoot into mine following by a cheeky grin that smeared all over his face. 'What did I get myself into!. I just silently accepted his arrangement.'
