One Love Betrayal, Another Bliss..

The meals are ready to be served on our table. Waiter places a bowl of soup over a plate for everyone. He says it is called Soupe a L'oignon or Onion Soup. It has pieces of baguette, the long French bread, placed in the bowl together with sauteed onions. He then places six plates of Magret de Canard which is duck b.r.e.a.s.t, according to him.

Later the other dishes were also served. The waiter introduced to us individually on each dish. Les cuisses de grenouille which is Frogs' legs. Les escargots, which is the Snails served in-shell with garlic-parsley butter. Le steak tartare is a well-seasoned, finely chopped raw beef. Le coq au vin means chicken in red wine sauce and Le vol-au-vent, a small, light, savory pastry.

And then, he places a six small plate of chocolate eclairs with ice-cream for dessert. He then added the bottle of champagne and gives us six flutes, a type of wine glass that is only used for drinking champagnes. As the waiter leaves, he says. "The chef wants to say that the romance can't be found in what you eat, but by what you feel as you eat. Enjoy!" It makes us all smile.

We enjoyed the duck b.r.e.a.s.t, the snails, onion soup, frogs leg, raw beef as we take each sip and chew. It's a time for cherishing the love that we give and share to each other. After, all of us are done with the meals, Mervyn then signalled for the bill. We all stand up after Mervyn paid the bill with his credit cards.

Aunty Huang and I excused ourselves and headed to the female's bathroom. As we open the door, the scent of French lavender comes out. Aunty went into the toilet and I face the wide mirror to do some retouch on my face. I only added lipstick after I ate it together with the food. I groom myself, and re-stretch my clothes. "You look beautiful, dear." Aunty Huang said, behind me. I thank her and we headed out.

We then head to pick up the others at our table and leave the restaurant with stomachs full of something worthwhile. We bid farewell to each others and headed back to his Porshe while Uncle Huang, Aunty Huang and Mabel headed towards Mervyn's Mercedes. As we are sitting down on our respective seats, he plays 'The Garrettes' then controls the car and takes the way ahead.

"I had fun today." Marcus said. "I do, too." I affirm. "So we are joining 'The Garrettes's concert' tonight." Marcus spoke. "Oh, yes!" I shout happily.. Our last date was not as happy as this. Two sweet drinks turned bitter that time, and tears went down from our eyes. That sad moment still lingers inside my head, and forever it will.

Then just out of the blue, our eyes meet again. Our hands clasped, his right and my left. Our faces are near to each other and when the traffic light turned red, I felt his soft lips on mine. My eyes still opened, eyeing at the traffic light. Then I quickly let go of the sweet kiss and shouted "green light." He then turned away to face the road and we continued with the journey. Soon the Porshe entered a two-storey building. Upon seeing the familiar building construction, only I realized that I was back to his apartment.

"Why did you bring me here. You're supposed to send me home. I have promise Lillian to spend the afternoon with her." I query. "Aah.. I should have Ruby. But I want to spend more time with you. Sorry....!" He said with a grin and smirked at me.

I quickly took my cellphone from my handbag and give Lillian a call. "Hi, Lillian, sorry dear I got something up and can't be with you this afternoon." I said. "Well, it ok Ruby sis. I am still out with my gang now. I think I wouldn't be back tonight. I'm staying over at Elsie's place. See you tomorrow." Lillian replied. "Ok, take care of yourself." I hung up the phone. Elsie was Lillian best friend and I didn't have problem to worrying about them together.

Once we got into the apartment, he held my wrist and the next thing he does was pulling me with a force that I crashed with his well built c.h.e.s.t. He slided his right hand under my waist and pulled me close to him. "I just miss you. I'm sorry. I just felt bad for dragging you here but I wanted to spend the whole day together. I love you so much." Marcus said. I hugged him as tight as I could and kissed his cheek. This seems an opportunity of a lifetime.

We kept standing in that position for quite a while, neither of us spoke but was busy feeling each other as much as we can!! We are so close.. we stood there silently into each other's arms. Sensing my easiness, he closed his eyes and then we joined our foreheads together..
