Inside the country mansion, it was very tidy and refined. The room inside was spacious and bright and the layout was simple. It did not look as rich and luxurious as any of the buildings in the household, but it was slightly more exquisite. Ruby blanked out as she stood at the entrance.

Behind the country house was a plot of uneven land ranging about fifty acres, and all of it was used to grow fruit trees. There were patches of land for loquat trees, peach trees, and pomegranate trees respectively. The small patch of land near the country house that spanned about one acre was used to grow many other different types of fruits. There were strawberries, apricots, plums, pears, cherries, persimmons, dates, papaya, gr.a.p.es, and many others. From afar, Ruby could already smell the fragrance of the fruits.

When the dishes were completed, Aunt Geneva calmly swallowed her saliva on what she saw on the dinner table. Steamed pork, saute shredded meat with peppers, enoki and ham soup, barbeque ribs and sweet vinegar pak choi, although all the dishes were simple, to Aunt Geneva, these dishes look tastier than the beautiful dishes from the restaurant.

The families and friends adjourned to the dinner table after cleaning their hands with the wet towels handed by the servants.

"Since you're both already set, we're not going to interfere much. It's your life after all. However, the wedding should be arranged as soon as possible. What do the both of you think?" President Yii spoke up after a toast to Ruby's family.

The marriage between the Yiis and the Tangs was no small matter. It would surely cause a big ruckus throughout City-A, City-X and New York if people found out about it. Of course, it was not something to be taken lightly since Yii's family were of the prestigious family after all.

Ruby was stunned. She tilted her head and looked at Lucas, only to see him gazing back at her. "It depends on you. What kind of wedding would you like? A wedding by the sea or a wedding in a yard? You decide." Ruby paused. Although she had been engaged to Marcus before, she had never imagined what sort of wedding she would have.

She gave it some thought and said. "It's beginning of the year and a lot of things are happening. There are several projects that Lucas need to handled after New Year ends. I suggest that we don't rush things. We can have the wedding during the long holiday in November next year." Ruby proposed and Mother Tang nodded.

"I agree with Ruby. November is coming in a few months, so we'll arrange it by then. But I have no objection that we sign the marriage certificate first, this is another formality one must do." Lucas came in at the perfect timing. Aaron, James and Dennis understand their friend intention well as he was afraid of losing her, so its best to ties her with him first.

"Seems like it. After this year ended, there will be 1st of January, Chinese New Year in February soon and other celebrations along the ways anyway. So November will be the best too!" Father Tang said. "Indeed, there're a lot of events approaching for next year and Lucas marriage was quite sudden! Alright, we'll discuss it in more details later on. The point is we can't take it lightly. Mr and Mrs Tang, what do you guys think?" Mother Yii said.

She glanced at President Yii who nodded and awaiting for reply. President Yii thought, it was fine as well since it was the end of the year and the company wasn't getting busy too. Moreover, the wedding have to be prestige and lavishly done, not something casual? "Sure, it's up to them. Son, Ruby, how about you guys? " President Yii asked and the couple nodded together.

"Alright, it's set then. We'll work on it after the Chinese New Year. It doesn't have to be fixed in November. We can still decide on the actual date later on. We'll prepare for the wedding. You guys work on your stuff. I know you all doesn't have times anyway. I will coordinate with Mother Tang then." Mother Yii and Mother Tang smiled. Finally, they found something to spend their times on.

Soon, their dinner and discussion came to an end with the problem solved rather efficiently. So after dinner, the Elder Tang's couple, Aunt Geneva was enjoying some tea with President Yii and Mother Yii on the sofa in the living room on the second floor while the trio, James, Aaron, Dennis and Diana were playing snooker in games room.

"Have some water." Lucas bent over and handed a glass of water to Ruby who's now sitting on the bed in his bedroom. She then accepted it and took a sip, just as she stood up, she gazed and looked at him quietly. Ruby thoughts to herself unbelievable. 'I'm gonna be married to this guy soon, be his wife and mother to his children. What if....?'

A faint light appeared in Lucas's eyes who seem to know what she's thinking. He quietly looked at Ruby's worried face and whose hair had already grown until her waist. He took a deep breath and said. "I want you to be happy with me. I want to protect you. I love you very much Ruby Tang. So don't worry! I can't bear to hurt you a little, it would be killing myself." He kissed and hugged her tightly.
