One Love Betrayal, Another Bliss..

Ever since Marcus came to this capital, he refused to leave her side. It was rare to see him stuck so closely to her. He was paying more attention on her and the baby now. Infact, her runaway had made a lot of changes in him, unlike in City X.

After changing their clothes, she and Marcus held hands and went out to a look for food together. Assistant Keith was waiting for them downstairs. After both of them hopped into the MPV, he starts driving to a nearby downtown area.

Lillian was in high spirits throughout the journey there. She would glance out of the window to look at the scenery. She could feel that the surroundings looked more and more prosperous as they headed towards the specific area.

There were many places to eat in the downtown area, all were high-end restaurants. The couple got down from the MPV first and strolled along as they glanced around, thinking about what and where to eat. Both of them enjoyed the life of an ordinary citizen now, going out to eat like most sweet couple in the capital.

In the end, Lillian chose a restaurant for them. It was called Couple's Asian Restaurant. The restaurant was opened by an Asian's couple who migrated here six years ago. The place was pretty crowded when they went in, but they managed to get an empty table for four person.

They took the table by the window and Marcus gave a call to Keith informing where they are. He was looking for a space to park after his boss and his missus aborted the car earlier.

Marcus looked up from the menu and glanced in the direction Lillian asking what dishes she would like to eat. The two of them ordered the foods enough for all as Keith would be joining them later.

After being hungry and waited for quite a while, Lillian called one of the male waiter who was passing by. She asked why their dishes were not served yet. Lillian glanced to the side and said, "They came later than us and ordered deep-fried buttered prawns just like we did, but why did they get served first?"

The staff glanced at both of them and replied apologetically, "You guys are not from here, right? Then you didn't know that our restaurant took call-orders too. The patrons will order through phone and given a reference before coming, to avoid waiting. Please wait a while, I go check your order!"

After few minutes, few waiters took turns to serve a table full of dishes to them. There were Beef Fried with Brocolli, Foil-Wrapped Steamed Herbal Chicken, Deep-fried Buttered Prawns, Sweet and Sour Pork, Duck Roasted with Ten Wonder Herbs and Fish Maw Snow Fungus Soup.

After they were done serving, the one who spoken to Lillian earlier, came back and said, "Here's a bowl of fruits platter, complimentary from us. Sorry for keeping you waiting. Enjoy your meal!"

Lillian nodded and took up her chopsticks. She told Marcus, "I'm really starving. Let's try the food and see how they taste?" Seeing the table full of dishes, Marcus and Keith gracefully took up their chopsticks and started eating.

After having a few peony shrimps, Lillian nodded her head and said, "This is also not bad." Marcus too agreed and eating happily. "Assistant Keith, don't be shy, eat more." Lillian said to him. To respect his boss, Keith glance at his Marcus and he nodded.

She looked so fulled and energetic high, so she finally suggested going for a walk before returning home.

When they walked on the streets, people would look at them as beautiful and alluring couple. Lillian felt like a layer of sweet honey coated around her heart at this times.

On their drive back, Keith entered another road, the opposite way towards FengYe's area. Lillian actually sensed something difference, and asked Marcus, "Where are we going. This is not the way to Bro Ye's house?"

Marcus kept a low profile, "You will know later". As well as Keith, he quietly drove his car until they entered a tight security area. In this part of the city, where every inch of land was worth a lot of gold, it was not bad to be able to live in this area.

After Marcus and Lillian got off the car, she looked at the surroundings and felt that it was exceptionally quiet and peaceful. "Marcus, I think this place is pretty peaceful and good!"

"Why is that so?" Marcus was actually worried whether his wife like staying here or over there.

"It has the feel of a bustling city, and yet it's very peaceful and quiet here. Most importantly, you're here with me!" Marcus took the house card from Keith, and entered the c.o.n.d.o.minium.

This was a low-rise c.o.n.d.o.minium. They took the elevator to the highest, sixth floor. Marcus opened the door with his card. The moment Lillian walked in, she started twirling around in surprise and exclaimed, "This place is really spacious!"

"Before coming over, I have Keith do an investigation on this place before purchasing it. Since you like this city and it also nearby to your cousins place too, I brought it. When we came back later with our kids, we can stay here, our own holiday's home."

She immediately ran to all the bedrooms and kitchen to take a look. "Be careful, slow down." Marcus shouted. When she came out, her eyes were a little red as she hugged Marcus and said, "Hubby, thank you."

Although this was a c.o.n.d.o.minium and was not as huge as their villa back home in City X. It has three large-bedrooms, one living, one dining and one kitchen fully equipped. However, Marcus still spent a lot of effort with the design and style of their home here.

On the way, she was still thinking why Marcus brought her to this area. She never thought Marcus would purchase a home here. However, when she took a closer look at this new home, she realized that the design and layout were almost exactly the same as in City X.
