One Love Betrayal, Another Bliss..

"Lucas, I don't want to do it with you. Are you trying to force me again?" Seeing the indifference in her eyes, the man's body stiffened in a subconscious disappointment.

They looked at each other silently for a few seconds before he finally let her go. She sat up from the sofa, glanced at the caller ID of the phone on the coffee table from the corner of her eye and a mocking smile appeared on her lips.

'It was Beatrice.' Lucas pickup his cellphone and answered. "Hello! What..? Speak..!"

Ruby was about to leave when suddenly, Lucas, who was off chatting on his phone, pulled her wrist and hugged her waist with one hand, his thin red lips landed on her forehead.

Lucas was satisfied. He got up from the sofa and said. "Let's go get change. Wear a nice one but not too s.e.xy. We are on double-date."

Ruby heaved a sigh of relief. She felt that this man was still capable of understanding when not to overdo something. "Double-date??? With who? Where are we going?"

Lucas seemed to have sensed her puzzlement. He handed his phone over to her. "Take a look for yourself."

A Weibo message was displayed on the cellphone screen. Ruby swept over the contents that Beatrice send over and she raised her eyebrow. 'Hmm.. a high-class pub.'

After she had changed into a fitting sapphire-green dress, the next had her hair done up in a messy bun wearing a beautiful hairpin. Even with her little makeup, her dazzling and elegant face showed a timid beam and distinguished vibe, yet her eyes shined with hints of intellect. An absolute beauty from within.

Lucas's heart skipped a beat. "Come here," he signaled Ruby with a flirtatious gesture.

He saw her continue to move forward slowly. With just a few steps away from him, Ruby was being pulled and pushed against the wall, and his slender finger lifted her chin.

Before she could react, Lucas gently lifted her chin. He could see his own reflection getting closer and closer through Ruby's appalled eyes.

Suddenly, she felt a warm arm around her waist. Before she knew it, his long arms wrapped strongly around her slim waist, and he hugged her in a sly posture. The scent of tobacco surrounded her.

His thin lips brushed her earlobe lightly. When he felt her body gradually turning stiff, his eyes squinted slightly.

"Really want to kiss and eat you now."

"..... What the hell." Ruby then pushed him away, indicated that they will be late if they delays further. Its wouldn't be nice for Beatrice and Dennis to wait for them, right.

He held her hand as they walked into the elevator and pressed the floor buttons. They were heading down to their carpark.

It didn't take long for them to reach the high class pub, Starlights. "Let's go. Just follow me." Lucas squeezed her hand, held it and walked inside. Using his connections, he quickly found out which private room Beatrice and Dennis were in.

Inside the Starlights pub, she was dumbfounded when she saw who was inside the private room. Ruby remained at the doorstep. The fact that the whole room was now filled with the people she known except for two, 'Dennis, Beatrice, Aaron, Frank, James and two unknown ladies, Jeanie and Rachel.

Lucas sounded apologetic, "Hey guys, were really sorry, we are late. We didn't expect you all here so early." Both of them stepped into the room, followed by a waiter who bringing few bottles of liquors inside.

"There's nothing to apologize for. We just arrived a while ago." Dennis replied and urged them to sit down. They entered and just went with the flow sitting in the darkest corner of the room. Lucas and the guys started to chat about almost everything since they met.

Ruby and Beatrice knew each other. Ruby breaking the silence serves herself a glass of wine. "Hello! My name is.. Ruby Tang." Ruby looked over at Jeanie and Rachel before giving them her angelic smile, quickly introducing herself.

Rachel, "Hello, nice to meet you.. Rachel Yu? Jeanie, "Same too.. Jeanie Loo." The three made introduction of themselves whereas Beatrice just looked on. She met them before in New York. They started to chat and catch up with each other life's.

The girls exchange numbers and happily conversated for the evening. After a long while, finally the party came to an end.

After a while of chatting and partying, around 2.00am, Ruby bid goodbye to them but Lucas chuckled at this and said, "Sunshine, all of them are staying Spark Industrial Corp. 37th floor, below us."

Back in the presidential suite.... Ruby walked into the bathroom and stripped n.a.k.e.d into the shower. Lucas followed suit.

Lucas, "Sunshine....."

Ruby, "Yes Sir?"

Lucas, chuckled, "You don't call me that we aren't at work now."

Lucas, "What's wrong?"

Ruby, "Why do you treat me so nice?"

Lucas, "Why do you ask when you know the answer?"

Ruby, "Why do you always answer a question with a question?"

Ruby, "Don't you do the same? You.. because I love you."

They both started to laugh at each other. They realized they were truly very similar.

A minute later, he completely sealed the space between his lips and hers. The next second she found herself deep under his spell. He bit her lower lip gaining a small m.o.a.n from her making something in him fire up he took the opportunity to deepen the kiss.
