One Piece Bounty Wars

Chapter 6 - Trial and Punishment

Jack walked slowly down the line of dangling shark bait, giving the ropes that were attached to their legs a good shake. Reaching the last person that was tied down, Jack asked, "Alright asshole. I'm gonna pull you up, show you a map, and you are gonna tell me where I am. If you don't know, or refuse to tell me, you will end up like the former, Captain Duff!!" Before the crying man could say anything he was hoisted back onto the deck of the ship, followed by a map being shoved into his face. It took a few seconds for his body to readjust to being back to somewhat normal before he could do as ordered.

Looking at the extremely detailed map, the man could give a vague idea of where they were, but couldn't be exact. "We are somewhere in between Dawn Island and Coral town." The scared man asked. Looking back to the map, Jack found the two islands. Looking east of his location on the map, he found a tiny little island that didn't have a name. "So thats where I started" Jack said quietly to himself. His eyes jumped back to the map and he saw that if he stayed on his course of heading West, then he would eventually come to an place called Treasure island. 'Isn't that where the one creepy guy that is stuck in a treasure c.h.e.s.t is?' Jack asked himself internally. Knowing that there was no treasure there to begin with, he didn't see a need to go there.

He could go to Dawn island and meet Luffy and Ace, but he really didn't want to have to deal with a teenaged rubber idiot that had the mental capacity of a toddler, and a brooding little bitch that couldn't get over his daddy issues. There was still a year and 3 months before Ace would set out to become a pirate, Luffy still having a little over 4 years before he set out. He did like their characters in the series, but actually thinking about it they were f.u.c.k.e.d up. Other than the Alabasta arc, Ace wasn't good for anything. He got his a.s.s handed to him by Blackbeard, got arrested, caused a war, got his adoptive father, Whitebeard killed, along with lots of his so called family, and then got killed by the very element he controls. Luffy on the other hand... He's just an idiotic little stubborn bastard who would let all of his friends die just so he could either eat food, or see something cool. 'Coral town here I come!!' Jack thought with a smirk.

Being brought back to reality by the whimpers and cries of the formally, "Duff Pirates" Jack pondered on what to do with them. He had already looted them, killed their captain, and gave them an experience that would haunt them for the rest of their maybe short lives. Still, that wasn't enough to excuse all their past deeds. They were pirates, and unlike Luffy, he didn't think a good a.s.s kicking would set someone straight. "Alright my little fish bait!! Here's the plan. I'm gonna pull you all up, then we're gonna have ourselves a trial." Jack said as he jerked everyone back aboard the ship. Soon enough all 23/25 crew members were lined against the railing that they were previously hanging from. Duff and the guy he tested his Conqueror's Haki on were already shark food.

"This trial is gonna work like this, only 10 of you are going to be allowed to live, while the other 13 of you will be fed to the sharks. How those who live, and those who die will be determined by you. I will go through and give you all a chance to tell me the crimes of each of your comrades, and those of you who I deem are too far gone to save will be thrown overboard." Jask told them all, but internally he was thinking on maybe letting one or two live depending on what they may have done up to this point. "Anyway lets start with you." Jack said, pointing a finger at the man sitting at the end. Jack listened as they all got a turn to rat each other out, and by the end of it, he didn't feel like letting any of them live. None of them denied what what was said about them, which actually sickened him even more. He expected the world would be somewhat like this, but here in supposedly the most peaceful sea, people did these kinds of things.

Finally having enough Jack walked over to the man that had given the information on where he was, pulled his pistol, and shot him in the head. The guy had been useful, so he would get it quick, unlike the others. The remaining crew members started screaming as they watched Jack pick them up one by one and toss them into the water. Less then ten minute later Jack was alone on the deck of the ship, save for one body. Jack thought he had already come to terms with this world, but there were definately things that would still push him to the edge. Walking over to the body of the dead man, Jack threw it into the water, then walked back over to where his little boat was floating and jumped down onto it. As soon as he landed he walked over to the big Ship and put it in his inventory. Watching something that massive just dissapear from sight, would shock most people, but Jack had done it so many times, that it was just an after thought now.

Changing Directions to North East towards Coral Town, Jack slumped down in a comfortable spot and looked in the shop. He checked to see how much the pirate ship would sell for, which wasn't too bad at $42,200,000 berries. Looking in the Shop he found a Ship almost identical to this one, and it cost over $50,000,000 berries. He had come to the conclusion that the shop was here in case he needed it, and to provide him with a certain luxury, but it came at a cost. 'I guess it makes sense. Wouldn't make too good of entertainment if I never interacted with people due to relying on this thing.' Jack thought, still not forgetting why he was sent here. Another thought struck him as well. 'I'll bet lots of these things are cheaper in the real world to. When I get to a town I'll have to stock up on stuff, so as not to be too reliant on the shop. Though I will still keep selling and buying when needed, can't beat a shop thats got it all right?'

After selling the boat to the shop, because it was a piece of shit in his opinion and required too many people to sail it correctly, Jack's balance had reached a staggering $53,430,000 berries. "About time I start saving up for the Dark Dark Fruit" Jack thought to himself. He would still spend when he needed to, but he wouldn't buy anything major until he got the fruit. And like this Jack sailed for 4 days, until on that fourth day he spotted land in the distance. "This is it!!" He shouted excitedly. Finally after 9 months or so, he had finally reached civilization.
