One Piece - Justice Of The Celestial Dragons

Sylver began slowly walking towards the fishman with a small smile, but his eyes were very cold.

"Bang!" The Fishman - Arlong shot a bullet towards Sylver without any hesitation, he only showed anger on his face.

Sylver flickered his hand and caught the bullet between two fingers. He didn't even bother glancing at the bullet as he continued walking towards the fishman.

Whilst Arlong was gritting his teeth, the innocent woman with pink hair began to have some sparks of hope as she gazed at how Sylver managed to catch the bullet without any difficulties.

Arlong reached to his back and grabbed a long sword with jagged edges. Arlong knew that his opponent was strong, therefore he didn't say anything and leapt forward to slice the human in two.

"Watch out!" The woman on the ground shouted as she saw that Sylver didn't react.

Sylver was smiling as he raised his hand up towards the sword. He then muttered "Tekkai." And not even half a second later, Sylver grabbed the sword with his palm and crushed it with pure strength.

Arlong didn't know what had happened as in one moment the human did nothing, then the next moment, his sword was crushed.

Sylver reached his hand and grabbed Arlong's neck before crushing it. Arlong's body fell to the ground. Sylver then glanced around, he saw some other fishmen, and he could sense even more of them throughout the island.

With an eyebrow raised, Sylver glanced at Boa Hanc.o.c.k who was still in his arms. "Can you do me a favour and kill the other 'pirates' here? Come and find me when you're done, alright?" Sylver asked her in a sweet tone while smiling.

"Of course Darling!" Boa Hanc.o.c.k was blushing as she replied, but when she turned around to leave, her expression turned ice-cold as she rushed to kill the pirates. 'You damned pirates, taking away my time with my Darling!!!' She stared at the fishmen with clear hatred.

And as Boa Hanc.o.c.k ran to kill the pirates, Sylver turned towards the woman and her 2 children. "Hi, I can see that you haven't had a good time today, nor the people of this island. But you don't have to worry about that as my fiancee is handling them. Oh, and my name is Sylver." Sylver smiled gently as he spoke to them, he wasn't that great with kids, but he sure thought that he wouldn't scare them with his looks.

The woman with pink hair stared at Sylver for a while before replying in a dry tone. "I'm Bell-mere, and these two are my kids, Nojiko and Nami. Thank you, thank you for saving us." Bell-mere lowered her head deeply, she was thankful and grateful for being rescued a few moments before her death. She didn't even care of the injury she received earlier as she bowed towards him. The 2 girls, Nojiko and Nami also lowered their heads deeply towards Sylver.

Nami and Nojiko were rather smart and knew that if Sylver wasn't here to rescue them, then their mother would most likely have been killed by that pirate.

"There is no need to bow your heads to me." Sylver shook his head while walking towards them. He crouched in front of Bell-mere, he gave a short glance towards the rifle that was a few meters away. "It should be the other way round, I must thank you for having served the Navy." Sylver could see that the rifle was made to the marines, and he could see that even while being in pain, that Bell-mere wasn't distracted, but rather focused.

Bell-mere was shocked by how easily Sylver could guess that she was a retired marine by simply gazing around for a brief moment. She didn't know why someone as strong as Sylver was doing here, nor why he was so humble towards his allies while aggressive towards his enemies.

"We can talk about this later, why don't we go inside for now? If your injury isn't too serious, I can patch it up myself." This was Sylver's first time meeting someone other than those in Mary Joa, he was slightly agitated that he met pirates, but he didn't care much of them as they did try to kill a mother and her 2 children.

Bell-mere nodded while being in a daze. Sylver helped her inside and cleaned her injury before wrapping it up in clean clothes. Bell-mere slept in her bed while holding onto Nojiko and Nami.

Boa Hanc.o.c.k returned with dull eyes, but her eyes brightened up the moment she saw Sylver and rushed into his embrace. She didn't speak too much, as she was also agitated by seeing the destruction the pirates made, it reminded her of Amazon Lily.

Sylver hugged her back and comforted her with weak mutters of how he would take care of her and love her for the rest of their lives.

After a few hours, Bell-mere woke up, she found Sylver and Boa Hanc.o.c.k hugging while comforting her with weak whispers.

Nor Sylver or Boa Hanc.o.c.k could see Bell-mere, but Boa Hanc.o.c.k heard her footsteps while Sylver sensed that she was awake when she stood up from the bed. "Do you have any questions that you would like to ask us?" Sylver asked Bell-mere without even glancing at her, but his voice was calm and soothing.

Bell-mere stood still for a moment before asking. "Who are you two?" She finally asked the question she wanted to ask, as Sylver and Boa Hanc.o.c.k were too mysterious.

"As I said, I'm Sylver, and this is my fiancee, Boa Hanc.o.c.k. I know this isn't what you're asking for, but I can't say too much. But what I can say is that, we aren't pirates nor marines." Sylver replied in a calm tone.

And before Bell-mere could say anything, Sylver continued speaking. "What I do want, is to know where we are. Which Sea are we in? As you may have noticed earlier, we fell from the sky, haha. And it would help to know where we are before we can leave." Sylver knew what he had to do, and that is to find where he was before he could continue his and Boa Hanc.o.c.k's travels.

"East Blue, this island is named Conomi island, we're in Cocoyashi village." Bell-mere replied in a soft tone.

"Oh, Conomi, I see." Sylver nodded quite a few times. He had already memorized all the maps and the known islands. "Then, I do have to ask, may we taste the famous tangerines from Cocoyashi? Haha." Sylver laughed for a brief moment before he turned his face towards Bell-mere.

"I would like to hire you." Sylver asked in a serious tone, he felt Boa Hanc.o.c.k's gaze, but he didn't bother with it.

"Hire me as what?" Bell-mere asked back with slightly squinted eyes.

"As our bodyguard. If what you told us is true, we need to go to Loguetown as fast as possible. I know you are a retired marine, and you should have enough experience in East Blue, and it seems like your youngest girl is a rather praiseworthy navigator from all the books she has around in the house." Sylver had a small smile on his face.
