They were nearing the floating islands at a steady pace. Buggy then spoke in a calm tone. "He knows that we are here."

Sylver wasn't too surprised by this, as he knew that Shiki was rather strong and should be able to sense them coming. Sylver then finally used his Observation Haki to sense what kind of people there were on the floating islands.

After going through them rather swiftly, he sensed that most of the stronger people were standing alongside Shiki on the largest island. Sylver then thought for a brief moment before turning his head towards the rest while speaking. "I and Buggy will take care of Shiki. And, there seem to be people with him, I want the two of you to take care of them so that they won't bother our fight against Shiki."

Boa Hanc.o.c.k nodded quite a few times while adding in. "I will kill them all very quickly, after in done doing that, I'll come and help to battle against Shiki!"

Sylver didn't comment anything about that, but he for sure didn't want Boa Hanc.o.c.k to fight Shiki unless it was necessary.

The four of them landed on the largest floating island. Boa Hanc.o.c.k and Bell-mere quickly went by themselves, leaving Buggy and Sylver to be alone.

"Sylver, I didn't tell you this earlier. But from my guess, you should have a certain knowledge of this either way." Buggy spoke in a calm tone, but he was gazing into Sylver's eyes. "Only an Awakened Ability can fight against another one, you know that, right?"

When Buggy saw Sylver nodding, Buggy continued. "But, do you know that the Awakened state has three different stages? And as I said earlier, only an Awakened in the second stage can fight against an Awakened in the second stage. Usually, a person in his first stage of Awakening can't fight against someone who's a stage higher than them."

"Mhm, then, you're saying that Shiki is a person that has managed to Awaken his Devil Fruit to the second stage?" Sylver asked with a small smile on his face.

"I am not completely sure, but I do think so from the little clash we had two weeks ago." Buggy answered calmly, but he wanted to know how Sylver could stay so perfectly calm whilst getting to know that he would most likely not be able to fight against Shiki.

"Then, tell me, are you an Awakened Devil Fruit user of the second stage?" Sylver asked while his small smile turned into a small smirk.

Buggy couldn't help but to raise his eyebrows, he couldn't tell how Sylver was able to guess it. But he still nodded without showing any different expression than his usual calm one.

Sylver waved his hand slightly. "I know, I know, you're so surprised that you went completely still." Sylver began mocking Buggy a little bit, but before either he or Buggy could continue their small fun, they turned towards the sky, where a man with golden hair was floating on the air with a cold glint in his eyes.

"Shiki." Both Buggy and Sylver whispered in a low tone.

"I see that the Cipher Pol found the clue I left behind and gave it to you" Shiki's powerful voice shook the air slightly. His eyes went towards Buggy for a brief moment, and then his eyes squinted. "I found some information about you, Buggy, former pirate member of Gol D. Roger. You do indeed have a powerful Devil Fruit ability." Shiki snickered after saying that, he gazed at Buggy and Sylver with a disdainful expression.

"Well, Shiki, it seems that you could have avoided the Cipher Pol rather easily, but did not. I have to thank you for that, now because of that, we can finally deal with an old guy like you without needing to look aimlessly up in the sky." Sylver began mocking Shiki, but as he was doing this, he grabbed firmly the sabre he was given by Buggy.

And at the moment Sylver stopped speaking, both Buggy and Sylver vanished from their spots. Sylver had already infused his body with lightning, making himself much faster.

Sylver arrived in front of Shiki, and he slashed the sabre towards Shiki with brute force and high speed.

Shiki didn't care too much about Sylver, he calmly blocked the sabre with his left leg whilst using his right hand to block the incoming attack from Buggy. Shiki managed to block both attacks with slight ease, but he was focused on everything that the two did.

Buggy whispered in a low voice to himself that no one could hear. "Awakening - Split the Heavens!" And as Buggy said that, he simply slashed his sabre upwards towards Shiki. Even the sabre that Buggy was holding had turned into black from the Armament Haki he was using.

The attack that Buggy released was close to Shiki, but Shiki still had enough time to react. He bellowed in a deep voice. "Awakening - Distinegrate!" Whilst smacking his hands together, clapping.

The clap released a thunderous sound which literally disintegrated everything in front of Shiki, even the attack released by Buggy.

Sylver had already returned a couple of meters back, he wasn't someone that would be willingly left behind, therefore, he roared out too with a grin on his face. "Awakening - Domain!" Everything around of Sylver turned into a domain of lightning, dark clouds began forming above them, and it barely took a brief moment before the first lightning fell from the dark clouds and aimed down towards Shiki.

The lightning had changed from the usual yellow one, now the lightning was paler, almost white. Sylver knew that he couldn't only rely on just basic lightning, therefore he tried his best to increase the 'quality' of his ability, which slowly turned his yellow lightning paler, almost white.

Shiki didn't bother about the lightning, which he thought wouldn't injure him, just like last time. But when the lightning attacked him, he felt the electricity trying to destroy his nerves and muscles. Shiki had to hurriedly use Armament Haki inside of his body, to protect all of his nerves, blood-veins, muscles, bones and organs from the possible injuries he could get from the lightning attacks. Shiki gave a short glance towards Sylver, he could clearly see that Sylver had gotten much stronger in these past two weeks, but still, Shiki still was giving more focus towards Buggy, as in his opinion, Buggy was more of a threat.

And, as both Sylver and Buggy saw this, they couldn't help but smirk at the same time. Sylver might not be at the same strength as Buggy, Shiki, the Four Emperors or the 'Monsters' in the New World. But, that didn't mean that Sylver was someone that couldn't kill them if they were un-guarded against him, because he is the one that has eaten the 'Strongest' Logia Devil Fruit known throughout the seas!

The moment Shiki turned towards Buggy to attack him by sending boulders at his way, Sylver had already begun acting. Sylver's body began to do things much faster, Sylver peaked the lightning inside of his body, which made him several times more faster and stronger. He even infused lightning inside of the sabre, empowering it up, for a huge attack.

Buggy began attacking Shiki, sending distance attacks with his Devil Fruit and his sabre, trying to keep Shiki occupied by any means possible. Buggy attacked with almost everything he had, but he was still focused on not killing off Shiki by himself, as he knew that Sylver would plan out a big attack sooner than later, and at that moment, Buggy would use his Second Path Awakening ability, to try to kill Shiki with one blow.
