One Piece: Quirk

Chapter 1 - (1/1)

Nico Loki was currently laying down on a tree stump, staring at the drifting clouds.

This was a usual activity that he would do when his mother would go to teach lessons in the Tree of Knowledge.

After all, he had everything here; entertainment, food, and silence.

On his left was a small tree that, even if small, would bear some apples every so often.

And, on his right was a tangerine tree.

With the tree stump acting as a platform, where he would lay to watch and envy the clouds.

Soon, afternoon rolled around, and Loki got up.

"Mother should be here any minute." Loki whispered, as he looked towards his left, where the apple tree was.

"Loki, you there?" A woman's silhouette was seen behind the tree, and a sweet, motherly voice rang out.

"Mom!" Loki yelled out, as he jumped off the tree stump and rushed towards the approaching woman.

"Slow down, Loki." The woman, with her beautiful, luscious black hair crouched down to catch Loki, who jumped into her embrace.

"Let's go mom, I'm in need of chocolate." Loki pitiful rubbed his stomach, as he held onto his mother's neck.

"Haha..." Olvia chuckled, as she held her son tightly, and made her way out of the little grove that her son loved to be at.

After walking out of the grove, Olvia and Loki went towards their house.

Soon, the mother & son pair arrived in front of their house.

"My chocolate!" Loki yelled in anguish, watching his big sister eating his chocolate bars, while in the embrace of a middle aged man.

"Brother!" The girl happily, and Innocently smiled towards the depressed Loki.

"...My chocolate." Loki stared at the remains of chocolate on the side of Robin's mouth with lifeless eyes.

The man holding Robin smiled at Loki's reaction upon seeing Robin eating the chocolate.

"Why are you sad, Loki? Isn't it just chocolate." The man couldn't help but tease Loki.

"..." Loki's lifeless eyes started to burn in rage, as he glared at the man, "Get over here, so I can kick your ass!"

As Loki tried to get out of his mother's hold to try and kill the old man, Robin was let down by the man.

"Mom!" Robin rushed over, who bent down to pick her up.

But, as she did, Loki got out of her hold, and ran towards the man. Loki started to punch at the level that he could reach, the man's legs.

"Haha!" The man heartily laughed, as he felt Loki's soft punches on his legs.

"Laugh at this! Shoryuken!" Loki shouted in rage, and mimicked Ken from Street Fighters.

"Oof!" Was the last noise the man made before passing out.

Loki turned to the side and spit, "I'll spare your life, maggot."

"Brother!" Olvia rushed over with Robin in her arms, and crouched down to check on her brother.

"Loki!" Olvia turned around, and stared into Loki's eyes, "Why would you hit your uncle there?!"

"..." Loki looked away, as his rage vanished.

"I'm fine, Olvia." The man softly spoke, still on the grown holding his jewels.

"But, brother..." Olvia couldn't help but worry.

"Don't worry, I already have a little girl." The man used his left his left hand up and gave a thumbs up towards Olvia.

"I'm serious, brother!" Olvia reprimanded her brother, as she smacked his head.

"I just need some rest." The man sat up, and took deep breaths.

"Loki, apologize to Oran." Olvia turned towards Loki, who was staring at the clouds.

"Huh?" Loki turned away from the clouds and stared at them, and asked, "Did you say something, mom?"

"I said, apologize to Oran." Olvia repeated herself, knowing Loki wasn't joking about not hearing.

"Oh!" Loki turned to the man, Oran, and said, "I'm sorry I couldn't hit your face, maggot." Loki bowed his head, as he apologized.

"..." Oran couldn't help but have his lips twitch, speachless at the behavior of his nephew.

"Loki!" Olvia yelled at Loki.

"I already apologized, mom." Loki didn't know what he did wrong, he already did what she told him to do.

"Apologize properly." Olvia told Loki.

"But, apologizing is just an action done to avoid punishment, or alleviate some of the punishment." Loki explained, while showing a smug look, as if proud of the fact of his knowledge.

"So, you don't wish to not be punished?" Olvia smiled at this, and took a bag from her backpack.

"Is that what I think it is?" Loki had a horrified look on his face.

"It's... cho-col-ate." Olvia's smile turned into an evil smirk.

"No!..." Loki instantly fell into an ORZ position, and cried anime tears.

"Here, Robin, don't share them." Olvia handed the back to the well behaved, and quiet Robin who was at her feet.

"Yay! Chocolate!" Robin happily took the bag, and reached inside for the candy.

"Robin... you'll share, right?" Loki looked up, and had a begging look in his eyes as he asked Robin.

"Nah-uh. Momma told me not to share." Robin shook her head, causing her hair to rattle about.

Loki started to cry again, as he glared at Oran.

"Haha!" Oran started to laugh at Loki's misfortune.

"Let me punch your face!" Loki yelled in rage, and rushed Oran.

"..." Oran smiled, and raised his palm in the air.

just as Loki got in range, Oran lowered his arm, and held Loki's head in place.

"Let me go, maggot!" Loki shouted and swung his arms around.

"I'm good." Oran nodded in satisfaction at his revenge on Loki.

After some time, Loki gave up, and just went into the house.

"I'm truly sorry about Loki, brother." Olvia apologized to Oran.

"It's fine. I already knew how he gets when chocolate is involved." " Oran waved it off. as he patted his sister's head, "I'll see you later." and walked away.

"Goodbye, brother." Olvia waved goodbye, and picked up Robin.

Walking inside the house, Olvia was met with a passed out Loki at the foot of the door.
