One Piece: The Demon Of The Seas

In the outskirt of a little forest, a young man drenched in his own sweat could be seen doing physical exercises. He was topless and only wore one black pant that seemed to fit him just right.

'It's been two weeks since i came in this world and I've not gone out of this Island yet'

Thought the young man as he stopped training. He went to a nearby tree and took the bottle that was placed next to it, he took a huge gulp before placing the bottle back to its place and sat on the ground.

'I can just stay here and enjoy life as a small farmer. Haha, that would be unthinkable!'

He thought to like the idea of living a peaceful life in a small village far from all those monsters that roam the seas. If he went out right now he did not even know if he would survive long since he does not have a boat, nor does he have a crew. Most importantly he also already has a Devil Fruit which makes his training even more difficult since he won't want to focus only on it.

'I don't usually rant, but why did i soul enter Buggy's Body?'

He never found an answer to that question - of course, he wouldn't - it was not like he expected to be reborn in One Piece world. Who would? Hell, if he knew he would get sniped that day he would have placed unbreakable mirrors on his room.

'Let's just go back to the village, I will think about what to do when i finish constructing my Ship with uncle Jin'

"Oi, Buggy have you finished training"

Asked a middle-aged man to the young man that was walking towards him. He is unanimously known as Uncle Jin in the Balmoral village.

"Yeah, i woke up early today, so, I had time to train a little before going to work"

Buggy answered as he approached Uncle Jin and helped him open the door of his shop. Uncle Jin was a blacksmith/Shipwright, he and some villagers was the one who made Buggy his house with buggy's help, of course! Since he majored in both civil engineering and architecture in his past life making a small wooden house was not a big deal.

"You really like working, don't you?"

Said Uncle Jin, he could not understand how a young man not even 15 yet to like working so much. Compared to the majority of the kids his age in this village, he is completely different.

"Haha… Learning new things always makes me exciting! So if I can do it while helping y'all in the village, why not?"

Effectively, Buggy liked learning new things, even in his past life. That was the only moment where he could really feel himself. That's why he always likes learning or trying things he has never done before. Even at the time, when he was on Earth, he mostly passed half of his time learning new things, so that, he could augment his amount of knowledge, and the other half making sure he would not die easily.

"So what's the plan today?"

Buggy asked Uncle Jin. Since he already had a book about basic Smithing he hoped that he could continue practicing it today, Actually, it's not only Smithing. Buggy gathered all the books he could about local jobs and how to learn them like Tailoring, for example, he already knew how to sew but not in this body. His mind knows the process but this body is not used to it yet, so he has to practice a lot to get back to his old level or even evolve his skills.

Fortunately, buying these books was not a mistake since the two methods -this world's and his old world's method- are different so when he has the time he would try to piece the two together and create a new style that would be his own. That's a future perspective though.

"You can just go to that spot over there and practice -I know you want to- we don't have an order for weapons so imma just make some basic knives over there"

Uncle Jin said as he pointed to his own spot and started to walk over there.

'Whatever, i think I'll continue making small knives for practice'

At noon, Buggy managed to make two knives. The first one was a low-quality one at the same level as kitchen knives, but the other one, although not at a great level could still be used as a hunting knife. Even though it would break faster than normal hunting knives it is still good progress.

Finishing his second knife, Buggy went to a nearby table and took out his old knife out its scabbard replacing it with the new one making a note to upgrade both in the coming future.

Buggy went out of the Shop discreetly so to avoid disturbing Uncle Jin's work. He went back to his wooden house that was a little isolated from the rest of the village since that was the most suitable place he could find in this area of the island.

When he arrived there, he saw two young men around the same age as he was waiting for him in front of his door.

Those two young men were the people he managed to recruit in his two weeks stay. He was actually thinking that getting out of the village would be his best choice since he would broaden his horizon and live a life of adventure, at least if he does not die early.

So in his stay, he managed to find these two, people that also want to out and see what the world has to offer and almost naturally they decided to follow Buggy. Not as henchmen but still he was giving them orders, it came naturally. Buggy is a natural leader!

"Osamu, Achille i did not know you would come back today!"

Buggy said a little surprised, but he did not show it on his face. He was used not to show his emotions in front of people. Since some people are fast to catch on they can use it and try to destroy you.

"well, we just had to gather information from the bandits that live north from this village, it was dangerous but not as dangerous as fighting a Black bear!"

Achille -the blond-haired- said as he and Osamu -the black-haired- started to walk behind Buggy when passed them. Buggy opened the door and asked them to follow him in, they all entered the house and went to the study room and sat down on a round table specially made for the three of them.

"What kind of information did you get?"

I don't want to make this a slice of life novel, nor will this be a harem, so please don't ask about that. Also, I'm going to stick with Buggy's original fruit. No additional one.
