One Piece: Throne War

After Cross finished talking to Sirzechs about Sachi, he walked towards the park. When near the park he saw Koneko looking at the sky with a sad face. Cross approached Koneko and asked, "what are you doing here?"

Koneko was shocked and scared when she saw Cross. She opened her mouth but no words came out. Cross saw Koneko reaction immediately know that she was still afraid because of the incident at the training ground. Cross patted Koneko head and said "sorry about that."

Koneko looked at Cross and said nervously "it's not your fault. It is my fault for being too weak."

"You're strong," Cross said with a smile.

"But ....." Koneko said.

"Don't compare your strength with mine. I have to be very strong to achieve my dreams," Cross said seriously.

"Dream?" Koneko asked.

"Don't you have a dream? Everyone has their own dreams. Like being a pirate king, strongest swordsman and having a family," Cross said and patted Koneko's head.

"Family? Is there a pirate with dreams like that?" Koneko asked confused.

"Of course, not everyone is born and raised with a family," Cross said.

Koneko just kept quiet and remembered her sister. Then he said, "I want to meet my sister."

"Did she leave this island?" Cross asked, confused.

"Yes, what I heard is that she became a pirate," Koneko said.

"Heeee maybe I'll meet her at sea. What's your sister name?" Cross asked.

"Kuroka," Koneko answered quickly.

"If I meet her, I'll let her know if you look for her," Cross said and showed a thumbs up.

"Really?" Koneko asked excitedly.

"Yes, but you must promise not to stop practicing," Cross said.

"Yes, I will practice now," Koneko said and ran towards the training grounds.

Seeing Koneko far away Cross just smiled. 'Maybe she doesn't have parents either,' thought Cross. Cross then said "you can get out" towards the wall. He already felt that someone was watching him and Koneko while talking.

"I didn't expect you to know I was here," said the woman wearing glasses.

"What are you doing here, Sona Sitri?" Cross asked.

"I wanted to go to the park but I didn't think I saw you here so I decided to hear your conversation. Does that bother you?" Sona asked, tilting her head.

"No," Cross answered and walked toward the park.

"Wait!" Sona shouted.

"What do you want?" Cross asked, slightly annoyed.

"Why didn't you ask what happened to Koneko and her sister? And what is your dream?" Sona asked, very curious.

"It's none of my business to know what's going on and it's none of your business about my dream," Cross answered and went to the park.

Sona thought 'interesting, there are rarely men who don't want to talk to me because of my status as a noble but Cross doesn't care about that at all. Are all pirates like that? '

Cross approached Shizuka who was seen talking happily. Venelana who saw Cross coming only smiled and Shizuka saw Cross walking towards her. Cross kissed Shizuka forehead and asked, "are you having fun?"

"Yes, I heard about this kingdom and many interesting things" Shizuka answered with a bright smile.

"Good to hear that," Cross said and patted Shizuka's head.

"Hehe, I don't know who is actually the older of you two," Venelana said.

"I used to think that way too," said Misla and drank tea.

"Haha, I don't know what to say," Cross answered with an awkward laugh.

"Is your training over?" Misla asked.

"Yes, I think Sairaorg is taking a shower or talking to Rias," said Cross.

"They should talk more," Misla said sadly.

"Do you really have to leave Deox?" Venelana asked seriously.

"Yes, when you win there will definitely be many people who want to use me or Sairaorg to lead the rebellion. So it's better for me and Sairaorg to leave Deox," Misla replied with a smile.

"Don't forget to keep on giving news," Venelana said.

Then Cross looked at Alice and asked "do you want to see this city?"

Seeing Shizuka not joining Cross made Misla curious. Misla asks "why don't you join Cross?"

"I will only bother both of them if I come," Shizuka answered and drank tea.

"He really is a kind hearted man," Venelana said.

"Because of his attitude he now has many beautiful women," Misla said and saw Shizuka face turn red.

"Rias must have a husband like him. Strong and kind, it is very rare for such a man," Venelana said seriously.

"She has to work hard if she wants a husband like Cross," Shizuka said and felt proud that she was Cross girlfriend.

'Do I have to make a plan?' thought Venelana and smiled wickedly. Shizuka saw Venelana smile just thinking maybe she would get a new sister.

Cross suddenly shivered as he walked along with Alice. Alice saw Cross suddenly stop being confused and asked "are you alright big brother?"

"Yes, I just feel weird," Cross answered.

"Let's just go back," said Alice worriedly, afraid that Cross would force himself to accompany her.

"It's okay," Cross said and patted Alice's head.

"Alright," Alice answered quietly.

"Don't be sad, I'll buy you whatever you want if you are no longer sad," Cross said.

"Is it true?" Alice asked excitedly.

"Yes, so don't be sad anymore," Cross said and carried Alice.

"Yes!!" Alice shouted.
