Jonin's from the mist were not easy targets they managed to dodge, but instantly the shuriken which had been dodged changed their direction and went for Ruki. They were caught off guard but, ruki used Water Formation Wall technique to cover himself and as the shuriken entered the wall it slowed down, but Ruki was in for another surprise as the shuriken themselves exploded and fragment moved even faster, even though the effect was not as good as expected, due to the presence of water wall , Ruki was still hurt.

Rei was not sitting ideal either, she used the hand signs for water dragon whip technique. She was really fast and the water dragon wh.i.p.s formed itself instantly and went after jiyuu .

jiyuu used explosion style and exploded the water wh.i.p.s but more wh.i.p.s were coming to skewer him from every side. jiyuu had no other choice but to dodge and back down.

Soon he saw that Ruki was already starting to gain distance from the battlefield.... now jiyuu didn't hold back any more... he stopped dodging and started using explosion to blast his way through, but Rei used another wide area effect skill.

But he had already noticed something , Rei was much weaker after using this technique, as it required a huge amount of chakra. After all not everyone was a monster like Kisame Hoshigaki.

Seeing an opportunity jiyuu used explosion style to blast the whole earth wall and gain amazing momentum to reach Rei instantly, The move took a huge toll on both his legs as they were almost exploded into smithereens, but jiyuu just didn't care as his legs had already started to heal at a visible rate due to the presence of Ancient demon's blood.

Jiyuu was not afraid of drowning or dying, but he knew he could not catch up with Ruki any more.Within five minutes with the help of Ancient gods blood and system's interference, he was able to move slowly, he got out of the water and found two dead bodies floating in the water. For some reason he felt heavy in his heart.

I didn't even knew these people before today, and all of a sudden we are fighting to death.... what is happening to me... is this the effect of the Ancient god's blood, am I becoming apathetic to death and killing... These were two fierce and noble warriors, I should not let their bodies rot in this water for a moment more, it's not honorable.

I should at least give them a proper burial or return their body back to the mist....
