One Punch Man : Valir's Chronicle

Right now, I'm eating dinner with my family

"So, Valir, Vanessa, done preparing for the finals?" My dad asks, i saw my sister nod to my father

"Yeah, i have a feeling i'll get a good score this year, like a really good one." I answered my father which made him surprised since all the previous year i would answer like Vanessa, with a nod.

"It's good if you have confidence but remember to not be overconfident or it will be you demise." He said as if he had experienced it.

"Don't worry I'm sure both of you will do good, i don't need any of you to get perfect scores, just enough to get into your favorite college is fine." My mom said.

Secretly in my mind i'm already picturing their surprised faces when i got perfect score, it'll be really funny.

The next day we do our usual morning routine and went to school, Me and my sister have a habit of studying in the car while we go to school but this time only she studies, no need to tell you what i'm doing while we're in the car cause i'm sure you know what i will do.

Arriving at my class i saw all of my classmates studying while no one is talking, a sight that can only be seen once a year, they didn't even bother with seeing who just came in since they're too focused, Oh, and have i ever tell you that the school me and my sister went to is the best one in my country? Yeah we went there so the level of difficulty is pretty high, especially when we want to get into a good college, we need to get high scores.

I went to my pre-assigned seat and started running through Invoker's memories as usual and that is what i will do everytime i have finished my test.

The day went smoothly for me but not for some others, there are a few sighs here and there, some of them are sigh of relieve while some is sigh of despair.

For the next 1 week it went just like today.

Right now is friday, 10 minutes before the end of the last test. I'm currently planning on what to do next, i plan to go to OPM's world again to train all of Invoker's skills but what reason should i give to my family. I want to be there for a month!

I could tell them that i want to leave for a month but i doubt they will let me... well at least i gotta try

10 minutes soon passed and our school bell rang, signifying the end of the test in which we all rejoice. There are already chatters here and there, planning for their holidays and all that.

Bryan and David asks me what i'm doing for holidays in which i reply secret... the don't seem pleased with my answer, well sorry.

Before we all could leave, my class leader whose name is Jason asks us to quite down and made a proposal. He invites us all to a graduation party at the beach near his Hotel, I won't go into his background, you just have to know that he's insanely rich!

He started listing all who wants to go, asking one by one, when it's my turn i asked him when will we go to the beach in which he answered next monday, for 2 days 3 nights. Meaning it will only take me 1 week so i accepted.

Its not that i'm getting bored from learning skills its just that i wanted to refresh once in a while especially after learning freakishly complex stuffs.

Unsurprisingly no one decline the offer, its a free trip, who would decline.

After all that is done, we dismissed i said my goodbyes to my 2 friends and wait for my sister to end her test. While waiting i'm thinking what should i do the next few days while waiting for the trip, Don't really need to prepare for anything since i still have my old swimsuit.

I wanted to train my basic attack, mimicking Invoker's, his basic attack is a magic missile, and surprisingly it's not that hard to learn, it didn't cost mana, effort, just energy. Kinda the same like a punch, but ranged. I manage to perfectly use it like Invoker in these 2 days.

Finishing my basic attack training i tried using Alacrity, a buff that can be cast to any allies that increases it's damage and attack speed, i can only try this since this is the only one that won't leave any marks and can be trained inside my room.

I need 2 Wex and 1 Exort, and so i make it. After all that comprehending, i manage to make 1 ball in 3 seconds, a really big and fast improvement said the Invoker himself, the credit all goes to Reality Stone though.

2 purple balls and 1 Orange ball are circling me, up and down in a clockwise direction, seeing this, it feels so surreal, yet, real at the same time...

I dismissed that thought and started chanting the chants needed to make Alacrity, well, its not really a chant but it is something that Invoker always says when he use a spell and when i ask him why he does that, he told me that it helps him concentrate....i don't know how but i just follow him, its not a hard thing to do anyway.

Invoker, in my mind is guiding me right now to use my first spell, feel the flow around my body, don't feel the mana outside of my mana balls range just feel what's inside. Feel the properties of mana given out from the balls and fuse it little by little.

I can feel the speed properties from the 2 Wex and the damage properties from the Exort, i then start fusing them starting from the 2 Wex and then the last Exort, after 30 seconds or so, i can feel it...

"Gaster's Mandate of Impetuous Strife." I exclaimed

My body suddenly feel lighter and more energetic, i can feel my power increasing immediately, after 5 seconds, it disappears, but not my excitement.

'YES, YES my first spell!!!!' i screamed in my mind, i was just like a child getting a new toy, well the new toy part is not wrong though.

For the next few days, I kept practicing my spellcasting on Alacrity, now i can make it in 20 seconds! Alacrity is one of the simplest spell so it's pretty easy to learn, oh and it leveled up to level 2, giving it more increase in damage, small but useful.

Finally the day of the trip came.
