Origin Court: Accepting Disciples With A System

"What did you say?" the Phoenix Ancestor loudly asked that it thrummed into the ears of Yang Lujia and Sheng Ao, making the latter's face distort in a funny way.

"I said I want the Nine-Leaf Nirvana Herb!" he repeated, making the Phoenix Ancestor's wrath explode once more. 

"Shut up and go home, boy!" The Phoenix Ancestor directly pushed her powers to the extreme and attacked Yang Lujia to send this little boy out of her own sanctuary. "You should have asked anything, just not the Nine-Leaf Nirvana Herb!"

Yang Lujia just smiled at this spectacular sight, standing on his ground as if the horrendous aura of the Phoenix Ancestor did not budge him a bit. "Do you really think that with this puny power of yours, you can send me out of this small sanctuary of yours?"

He could disintegrate the power of rules as long as he willed to. Just like that, the attack that was accumulating before the Phoenix Ancestor was broken into pieces, the rules that she comprehended disintegrating into different parts before they disappeared from her sight. 

Her heart grew cold as she saw how her attack disintegrated and disappeared. She then looked down at the young man who did this. With her phoenix form, she screeched with unwillingness in her heart. Her pride did not let her think straight anymore as she condensed another attack that Yang Lujia soon disintegrated. 

On the other hand, Sheng Ao was in awe as he looked at this master of his. He only kept hearing the word, 'Disintegrate,' all this time and every time he heard this, he would feel a thrum in his heart as the attacks of the Phoenix Ancestor would fade from existence. 

'Just what the hell is my master?'

No wonder Yang Lujia was confident about infiltrating the Phoenix Empress Palace. Sheng Ao realized this as he looked at his master that seemed to be invincible. It was like no one could defeat him with his domineering demeanor.

When the Phoenix Ancestor repeatedly did, she found herself running of out of qi. She couldn't exert anymore attacks that seemed to disappear every time she tried to throw it against the very young man in front of her. This human was getting on her nerves as time passed by and finally saw the horror of him as she commanded all the phoenixes outside with the might of her bloodline. 

"Assemble the forces. Enemy attack!"

"Right, right, call everyone of your force. I can then make several delicacies out of all of you. Chickens, you know, are the tastiest I have ever come across before as a kid. Now that I will be able to taste them again today, I will not miss on the part of slaughtering all you chickens to bring with me spare ones to eat after I get full for today's meal."

"Ancestor!" the other phoenixes bowed down to the one that arrived with Yang Lujia as they looked at her with reverence. Even the one crowned with the crown only suited for the one who could be called an Empress, a Phoenix Empress, was bowing to this existence as well.

Her breath was exasperated as she looked into the being that was still emitting different kinds of rules, some of them even unrecognizable to hear—but they held the majesty that seemed to be stronger than what she had already comprehended.
