Pain

You know the saying "The Truth hurts"? Well, Turns out the saying can be true. That morning I was in my room alone when I got a call. Bftf Kiatsu. And I picked up.

"Hey, Kiatsu what's up?"

"Aiko...I need to tell you the truth...Why I never see you.." I hear him say. I don't know what to say.

"Uh...Yeah...Okay…" I stagger out.

"I don't see you because of my Dad...He keeps things from me...I only go to your guys christmas every 4 years. He even keeps me from seeing my own sister…" I hear him say.

I start to cry...It all made sense! When he said he was happy his sister had me to rely on. Of course!

"W-What…Bftf...You need to see your sister she needs you!" I say crying.

"Please don't cry. I know, I know what you mean. I really do. She always asks why I don't visit more It's because of my dad. I lie and say I'm always busy but Aiko It's not that…" He says lightly.

"And...You don't tell her because you love her...And you don't want to corrupt her and her relationship with her dad…" I say slowly.

"Exactly…" He says.

"Your dad...He kept you from me…" I cry.

"I know he is a horrible person. Just stay strong for me." I hear him tear up.

"I will take care of her I promise…" I say.

"Aiko I love you…" I hear him sniffle and breathe hard.

"Kiatsu… I love you too…" I say.

"I got to go...Bye"

"Bye" And he hangs up.

His dad...His dad did this! He kept me from the only cousin that gets me! I didn't even know he exisisted till now!! 11 years of not knowing who he was!! And to know he keeps him from seeing his own sister!! UGH!! Ever since then I never knew I could hate a family member so much and never look at them the same again.

I needed to blow off some steam. I call my friend Sakura and my friend Kai on a group chat.

"Aiko? What's up." Sakure and Kai say in unison. I think they know I'm crying.

"You guys doing anything. I need you right now."

"Sure." Me and Sakura say in unison. They hang up I grab my headphones and yell to my mom who is in her room watching her dramas.

"MOM IM GOING TO KIYOSUMI GARDEN!"

"Ok!!!" She yells back.

I grab my skateboard. Yeah I own a skateboard it's just a faster way to travel. I hope on and skate down the block. The light turns green for the cars so I have to wait.

"Hey nice skateboard." I hear from a female voice behind me I look behind me. A girl with a mint blue dress with cherry blossoms. She has dark brown hair like mine and her hair goes down her back even in a ponytail.

"Thanks. I made it myself." I say in reply. Wow, who is she

"Wow. What is it made out of." She asks

"Bamboo." I reply.

"Amazing. Maybe someday you can teach me?" She says yeah.

"Yeah sure." I say. In Tokyo we are all like family.

"Cool, What's your name?"

"Aiko."

"Oh yeah it's on your board." She says very observant stranger.
