Trying so desperately to move any part of her body, Sucrose appeared to be suspended amidst the air. Not a finger nor follicle of hair showed symptoms of movement, that is until Sucrose began to speak.

"I- can't move! My fingers..my arms, even my pulse, I can't feel any of it! What did you do to me?!" (Sucrose)

"Usually, I won't name my attacks or abilities, I sort of think it's just not something I could see myself spending time on, but you...you reminded me of someone I know. They also name their attacks and while I still have no reason as to why this is, it's because you remind me of this said close friend that this is the first time. Officially named, you'll be one of the first few victims of my Kinetic Freeze." (Amelia)

Enduring the effect's of Amelia's aforementioned new technique, Sucrose was not to endure said technique for long. As seconds began to pass, she had noticed herself beginning to suffocate. Was it the direct cause of Amelia's technique or was it an unintentional side effect of Kinetic Freeze? Neither of which she could be sure of, but of the time she was burning, she had become fully aware.

"K-Kinetic Fre-eeze?" (Sucrose)

"Although this may be my third time using this, it was the first ability granted to me by Xenatra, yet it's the one I have the least experience with; it's because of these reasons that not Death nor Apollo could warn you of what I am fully capable of. This ability, it's not like my others, I feel as if it's one of the strongest tools at my disposal as I had originally planned on perfecting it to challenge Olivia someday. That very moment, in the castle's dungeon in the underworld, after I had gained ten percent of Xenatra's true potential, I realized something. I realized that "Cold" is much more than ice and frost, it's the way things in nature move, how fast they move and my eyes alone are the only ones capable of seeing these things, regardless of how small and insignificant they may seem. The things that created you, that you're made of Sucrose, they're always moving and always active, but what would happen if they were to stop? What would happen if I were to command these things to halt everything that they're doing, to cease movement so minute that not even a god could see it with their n.a.k.e.d eye? The answer to these questions is what Kinetic Freeze truly is, it's something so alien that not even I can understand it's full potential." (Amelia)

"Amelia..." (Sucrose)

The space within the battlefield grew silent.

Did..she win? Amelia, I mean. (Noah)

I'm..unsure. It seems that Amelia has incapacitated Sucrose, so I'd be pressed to say that she technically won. (Carter)

A hand shot to their air, raised high for all to see and it was Death's, signaling the end of the battle.

It seems that Sucrose is unable to continue, so by default, the winner is- (Death)

Abruptly cut off, the Goddess's statement had been interrupted by the sound of sugar crystals grinding against one another. These sounds began shallow, but escalated by the minute, originating from the body of Sucrose. Her skin had begun taking on a pale tint as its texture became gravel-like, her body twitching vigorously while spurts of sugar began to erupt from beneath her person. With both worry and confusion, Amelia steadily eyed this phenomenon, having not ever experienced something like this before.

"You shouldn't be able to move, so what the hell is going on?" (Amelia)

"Those things that you were speaking of, the ones you claim that only you can see. What would happen if those things, as small as they may be, became sugar as well.?"

A bead of sweat trickled down Amelia's forehead, her anxiety growing evermore.

"What?!" (Amelia)

"These things, you're correct about them, they do indeed exist everywhere, but what if I could change them into sugar as well." (Sucrose)

A great wind filled the field, blowing in a powder of white unknown substance, engulfing both of the girls.

"You want to know something interesting about the chemical, C12H22O11? When powdered, it becomes highly explosive if heated. Now, let's say...the things that you spoke of, what if I could also command them, causing them to move at speeds that not even your eyes could process? Can you tell me what would happen, Amelia Clementine..hm?" (Sucrose)

Steadily sweating, Amelia's looks faced the ground, whispering to herself.

"It would..explode." (Amelia)

"Ding! Ding" (Sucrose)

Accompanying an epic eruption of glow and fire, a massive shock wave seized the atmosphere, unraveling the soil beneath while both Amelia and Sucrose subsided in the epicenter, engulfed in the blast. It was truly a spectacle to be seen; The shock wave cast a mighty wind in the direction of its spectators with a force comparable to that of a nuclear bomb. Hesitating not, Apollo quickly shielded Carter and Noah from the blast, whereas death simply killed parts of the explosion that were harmful to her physical form. As the black gas began to clear itself, it was noticed that two objects remained within the center of the smoke. One of the couple was Sucrose; she stood there, panting heavily, slouched while blood oozed from the side of her head and abdomen. The other, was a sphere of densely solidified ice almost as large as sucrose herself. From this sphere, sounds of cracking and splitting could be heard; shards began to fall from its surface while it began to divide down its center. A hand could be seen piercing this great sphere from the inside, tunneling their way out as the fingers bled to an incredible magnitude. The remainder of the sphere had finally shattered before, from it, Amelia emerged with great portions of her body suffering from various degrees of burns. Soon after, a body had hit the ground below, accompanied by a loud thump and unconsciousness.

It was Sucrose.
